About the meeting of the Consul General of Russia in Hurghada with the Director of the Department of Culture of the Administration of the Red Sea Province

During the meeting of the Consul General of Russia in Hurghada V.S. Voropayev and Chairman of the Egyptian Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities Sh.Geda and the Director of the Department of Culture of the Administration of the Red Sea Province, S. Abdelrahim, discussed the issue of holding joint Russian-Egyptian cultural events in the city Palace of Culture, the renovation of which should be completed in the near future.

Sh.On behalf of the Association, Ged proposed to hold the Golden Bridge of Friendship Festival in the Palace with the assistance of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Society, the Consulate General of Russia in Hurghada and the Russian House in Cairo.

S.Abdelrahim supported this idea in principle, noting that the site of the Palace of Culture can also be provided for performances by art collectives of Russian compatriots, the organization of exhibitions of artists, the demonstration of full-length paintings and children's cartoons.

At the end of the conversation, V.S. Voropaev and Sh.Gedvisited the concert hall of the Palace of Culture, equipped with modern audio and video equipment, designed for 800 seats, and a lecture hall.
