Surikov visited the headquarters of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique on July 28 in preparation for the II meeting of the Russian-Mozambican intergovernmental commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical cooperation, held a meeting with its Chairman Agoshtinya Vuma.

A. Vuma reported interest in the supply of grain and fuel from Russia at fair prices. Mozambique is also waiting for Russian investors who are ready to participate in projects in the field of extraction and processing of raw materials, energy, industry, oil refining, agriculture and transport.

Following the results, Ambassador A.V. Surikov answered questions from representatives of the leading mass media of Mozambique. During it, the Ambassador spoke about the course of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, and also commented on the topics of Russia's supplies of fuel and grain crops to the world market, and in particular to Mozambique, which are of the most concern to the Mozambican public.
