Oryol milk will be given to Africa

Congo and Nigeria decided to buy Orel dairy products.

The dairy processing enterprise of the Orel region has received the right to export finished dairy products to the Congo, Nigeria, Jordan and the UAE. This is reported by the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Orel and Kursk regions. This enterprise is the Verkhovsky Dairy and Cannery. It is already included in the register of exporting enterprises and the register of countries of the Customs Union. The company successfully exports finished dairy products to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, the LPR, the DPR and the EurAsEC countries.

The geography of supplies will now be expanded, and Orel dairy products will be appreciated even in Africa. This became known following the results of a veterinary and sanitary examination, which was conducted at the Orel plant by the staff of the Rosselkhoznadzor Technical Service. By the way, the Verkhovsky Dairy and Canning Plant itself submitted an application for examination through the state information system "Cerberus". Inspectors checked the plant for compliance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. As a result, the company was recognized as meeting these requirements and entered into the register of exporters with the status "Without restrictions".

"Having confirmed its compliance, the dairy and cannery expanded its export capabilities and received the right to export finished dairy products to these countries," the Rosselkhoznadzor said. – In 2022, Verkhovsky Dairy and Cannery JSC sent more than 1,400 tons of finished dairy products for indirect export. The quality and safety of manufactured and exported products is confirmed by regular laboratory tests in accredited laboratories subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor."
