"On the sidelines" of #GAUN77, Sergey Lavrov met with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa N.Pandora.
The mutual interest of the parties in deepening the political dialogue and the focus of Moscow and Pretoria on effective coordination of actions in the international arena, including in the UN, BRICS, the chairmanship of which will be transferred to South Africa in 2023, the Group of Twenty and other multilateral formats were confirmed.
The Foreign Ministers of Russia and South Africa spoke in favor of further building up the entire complex of strategic partnership relations between our countries, including mutually beneficial trade, economic, infrastructure and other cooperation in practical areas.
