Backend team lead
Luxembourg office
More than 10 years in Artec 3D
My main responsibility is to develop my team as technical specialists. I oversee the growth of the team, communicate with the guys, and help them with various issues, not only related to work. In general, I do everything to make sure they get great results and feel comfortable as part of the whole Artec 3D team.
We have two areas of work, in addition to legacy. The first is the CRM system, which consists of 2 parts: CRM - where our sales-team works and MA - which is perfectly set up for resellers and clients, who can buy several Artec products and software there. Moreover, in MA works our logistics team, who sends scanners to clients.
The second is the Artec Cloud solution, where our clients can upload data from Artec Studio directly or from our flagship scanner Leo. And then that data can be processed, visualized, and shared.
I can definitely say that I am proud of these two products. The CRM system is really important for our sales and business process in general, and Cloud in the future will please the customers with its user-friendliness of such a solution, which, according to the idea, has almost no analogues on the market.
I am also involved in the development of the Calibrator project, which is designed to store data from the calibration team. In the future, this system will allow us to distribute the stored data and successfully certify the accuracy of our scanners.
As a team leader I cultivate in my work and in myself many soft-skills. I am convinced that a good team leader has a high level of emotional intelligence and is able to find common ground with seemingly different people.
What I like about Luxembourg is that it has a fairly mature society, which is evident in many areas of life. For example, the drivers here are very careful and don't honk in traffic jams, which demonstrates a high level of culture not only in driving, but in general. There is a mild climate, where the weather in the off-season is quite comfortable. And also people in Luxembourg know how to fit their ecosystem beautifully into their environment.
I can recommend a couple of films that are definitely worth watching. For example, if anyone hasn't seen Miyazaki's cartoons, I recommend watching them for both adults and children. Among other directors, I would recommend films by Pedro Almodovar, Paolo Sorrentino and Wes Anderson. These are good examples of visual art.
From books I liked Marquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and "The Autumn of the Patriarch". In my free time I also sometimes do morning gymnastics and now with the arrival of summer I will play volleyball, which is organized by our good colleague Denis Baev.
