The popularity of 3x3 basketball is due to its contact, dynamism and high speed of play. It is much more entertaining than classic basketball. Everything happens very quickly here, because the team has only 12 seconds to attack!
Another peculiarity of 3x3 basketball is that the coach does not have the usual mentor status. He cannot give advice to the players, announce substitutions and is basically just a spectator of the game.
