Marketing and Communications Manager в Burberry


  • Develop local marketing strategy for each flagship market, based on global and regional strategy, supporting local business objectives in collaboration with retail business leadership team and Marketing and Communications EMEIA leads.
  • Agree budget with Marketing and Comms EMEIA leads
  • Ensure best in class delivery against all agreed plans, including tracking ROI against all initiatives.
  • Understand local consumer behaviour and needs and ensure those are translated into local plans, tailoring corporate initiatives to the region
  • Feed local insights and ideas up to EMEIA strategic leads


  • Own local and hub media buying and planning in line with global guidelines and EMEIA Marketing strategy, working closely with globally appointed agency for the region
  • Maximise media partnerships to include 360° approach obtaining further added value
  • Feed in market specific requirements to EMEIA team to influence regional budgets, plans and priorities, both online and offline.


  • Manage events strategy for region, in partnership with EMEIA events manager
  • Develop, manage and execute local events, working closely with the EMEIA events lead.
  • Feed into Marketing EMEIA lead any level 1 & 2 event proposals for sign off with corporate and ensure resource support
  • Provide update on level 3 onwards event plans to seek approval
  • Track event ROI

Digital Marketing

  • Maintain local Twitter accounts inline with Corporate guidelines
  • Partner with EMEIA Marketing team to identify and develop local digital marketing opportunities (e.g wholesale, franchise, social, search)
  • Partner with EMEIA marketing team to develop segmented and personalised CRM and ECRM plan to maintain customer relationships and expand relationships

External Communications

  • Own relationships with local fashion/beauty media and place stories/product coverage
  • Hold limited samples for press appointments in showrooms where relevant and for send out for shoots
  • Manage PR moments (store openings, events, CB interviews) as needed
  • Develop local business media relationships and partner with Corporate and local Brunswick team on in-market corporate relations/exec comms activity as required (e.g. crisis handling, Regional CEO programme).
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with local talent (events, dressing, invites etc)

Internal & Partner Comms

  • Implement sub regional messages as agreed at EMEIA regional level
  • Feed into EMEIA regional key sub regional moments to ensure overall communication plan fit for purpose
  • Implement any sub regional, specific partner messages as agreed at EMEIA regional level
  • Feed into EMEIA regional key sub regional, partner moments to ensure overall communication plan fit for purpose


  • Previous experience working within an innovative brand or agency
  • Previous experience within a luxury retail brand
  • Previous experience owning the relationships with local fashion/beauty media
  • Strategic thinker
