Sr. Technical Specialist в Microsoft


  • Provide technical assistance to the Sales Director assigned on a specific targeted region.
  • Support all Pre- and Post-sales Sales Engineering efforts within the assigned accounts and coordinate all aspects of technical support for customer.
  • Articulate and present the Microsoft solution highlighting its benefits whilst addressing the specific customer requirements.
  • Participate in conferences, shows and exhibitions when appropriate and requested
  • Identify and opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within the customers organization and ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and followed by the sales team.
  • Ensure that the relationship between Microsoft and the customers remains positive and strong with on-going meetings, calls and electronic communication.
  • Conduct on-going technical workshops to various organizations within the customer to uncover future opportunities and to strengthen the business relationship.
  • Assist in the development of product and applications slides for potential customers. Answer and co-ordinate responses to RFI/ RFQ/ RFP from a technical perspective for the customers.
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address the customer’s requirements, assesses customer’s met and unmet needs, and recommends optimum solutions, ensuring appropriate support for the proposed architecture.
  • Follow and shares market technological needs and evolution with Product Line Managers.Create high level design (HLD) and statement of works (SoW) for handover of projects to professional services for delivery.
  • Monitors R&D/ customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
  • Provide secondary and tertiary support for other Technical individuals/ teams at Microsoft.


  • Must have a strong background in 3GPP Packet Core and mobile GiLAN services
  • Prior experience with Tier-1 operators as a supplier and have high level technical contacts within both
  • Thorough understanding of both account technology approach and strategies within the packet core area
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization, cloud native concepts and the application of Hybrid cloud (public/private) into the telecom environment.
  • Willing to travel extensively throughout the region
