Cyber Farm. Production Rules

Cyber Farm is an economic simulator, so the game might seem complex at first, but it's quite easy to learn. The main thing to understand right away is that resources don't just appear; you have to produce them. Production is the core mechanic and the primary source of growth for your entire Farm in Cyber Farm. Production consumes resources and outputs new materials with a certain bonus.

There is a concept called the Base Output. This is a specific quantity of materials you get from production, the value of which equals the cost of the resources used to create them. Simply put, it's the break-even point where profit is zero. This is the minimum output level for any production cycle. On top of this base output, various bonuses are applied, which depend on the overall in-game economy and player actions.

Please note that the production time on the Farm is 12 hours.

How is the Final Output and Production Bonus Calculated?

(What is added to the base output?)

Farm Output:

  • Upon starting production, up to 30 units of product are added.
  • For each level, starting from the second, up to 10 units of product are added (up to 40 units at level 5).
  • After starting production, you can watch an ad to receive up to 140 additional units (sometimes more).
  • You can then watch a second ad to get an additional 70 units and instantly finish the production.

Output can be increased with additional modules:

  • Output Boost Module: Available from building level 2, it increases output by approximately 1-3 units (depending on player actions and the state of the economy). The effect of these modules is cumulative. This is important for calculations: one module might calculate as adding 1.5 units, but the actual gain will be 1 unit. However, if two modules each calculate as 1.5, the total gain will be a full 3 units. You can install up to 600 of these modules in each building. The bonus is applied no more than twice per day. The exception is the automation module and acceleration modules.
  • Production Automation Module: This module allows you to automatically start production and collect finished materials. It can only be installed in a level 5 building. Additionally, this module adds approximately 600-1200 units to the output.
  • Production Time Reduction Module: This is most effective when you have a large number of Output Boost Modules and have automation enabled. In other cases, the bonus is often not worth the cost.

Any product from the Farm can be freely bought and sold.

Factory

The Factory produces modules used on Farms, as well as additional materials for constructing other buildings, such as the Power Plant, Recycler, or for City development.

Important! The Factory only has a Base Output; it is impossible to increase the output quantity. You can only speed up the production time.
Very Important! Anything produced in the Factory cannot be sold from warehouse; it can only be used for construction or installation. It is possible to sell finished components, but this is a separate function.

Power Plant

The Power Plant generates energy automatically. You just need to build it, and energy will be supplied to your warehouse. The Power Plant's level can be increased infinitely. Energy production requires Energy Cores, which are taken from your warehouse. If you don't have any, the required amount is purchased automatically. If you lack both Energy Cores and the CP to buy them, energy production will be halted.
Note: You can view the production rate before building.

Recycler

The Recycler produces metal automatically. You just need to build it, and metal will be supplied to your warehouse. The Recycler's level can be increased infinitely.
Note: You can view the production rate before building.

City

In the City, you can construct your own buildings that generate CP automatically. However, they require Edible Briquettes or Organic Meat, which are taken from your warehouse. If they are unavailable, the required amount is purchased automatically. If both the materials and the CP to buy them are missing, the CP supply is suspended. You can view the generation rate before constructing buildings.

These are the main directions for the Player Farm's development. Additional gameplay elements will be built on top of this model.
