Miami Beach, October 2021

My first time in Florida, decided to take a few days off and just relax on the beach. Overall a very pleasant experience. Miami beach has a very touristy vibe (rightly so).

One of the main streets in Miami Beach.

Very tropical and humid pretty much everyday. It was pretty much never cold throughout the entire five days we were there. Streets have tons of greenery and palm trees.

The view of all the various hotels and apartments from the beach.
Sunset with Downtown Miami skyscrapers.
Same sunet :)

Very pretty sunset for our first night. Almost doesn't seem real.

Miami Design District

A modern neighborhood in Downtown Miami, with a very large amount of designer stores, different showrooms, and interesting architecture.

Parking garage art.
Some interesting canopy archite ture above another parking garage.

The neighborhood is about ten blocks clustered together with various stores, restaurants and cafes, and interesting art installments. This is all mixed in with the various architecture and greenery on the clean streets, giving this place a very modern and pleasant vibe.

Some gas station art.
Liquir infused ice cream.

There's many different stores here selling exotic things, everything from alcoholic ice cream to huge hipster plant stores.

A life-sized red solo cup.

There is a plethora of exotic cars throughout Miami. It reminds me of LA with the expensive show-off lifestyle. Overall, Miami seems like LA with more tropical weather.

Three very expensive cars in a row.
Playground swings in a creative form factor.
Book shelves inside of the food-court area in the design district.

Definitely recommend visiting this design district if you have a chance. This is how all neighborhoods should feel like!
