Forrest Gump watching results
After I’ve finished watching Forrest Gump I realized one of the most important things in my life. And actually I don’t even know how exactly that is related to the movie.
But it became extremely clear for me that the bigger the difference between my potential and the actual life that I live right now is, the bigger my suffering is, and vice versa. So to stop suffering I got to start doing more, not less as I tried to.
Often it seems to me like:
We don’t know how to deal with those really tough situations in life
We have no ability to desire properly
We all can’t live and think really big and care for the future of our kind
We think too much but on such a tiny scale and that’s why we feel too little
We don’t have any idea of what it is like to love someone with persistence and with all your heart.
What it is like to keep our word and to have that real human’s core strength.
We don’t have a clue on how to be patient and how not to settle for less and how to have and stick to our principles.
We are smart enough not to be like that, but we just don’t often try. We say “It’s enough for me - I don’t hope that anything will change soon”
And the truth is that it really won’t. We just have to put a small but repeating every day effort into bringing our dreams and potential to life. Even if we won’t get successful in the end, yet there still will be a life worth remembering.
So What I want to say is that all we have to do is to find and accept our potential, understand it’s size or scale and start decreasing that suffering difference and to stick to it and to keep pushing. In result all of those “We Do Not’s” will disappear and you would feel satisfied more than ever. You would start having that inexorable confidence in everything you do.
Now some life hacks:)
Having troubles in your business? Just watch Forrest Gump.
Having that one-sided love and sadness? Just watch Forest Gump
Thinking you’re not smart enough to have a success in life? Just watch Forrest Fuck Ing Gump. (a throwback to a movie scene)
Thinking that you deserve to suffer? You know what to do.
Hope the movie reminds you that you become weak only when you decide to.
