Introduction
Welcome to the team where your energy and creativity are put to good use. We are confident that your participation in our studio will make the world a brighter place and our achievements even more significant.
PR is the art of creating connections and communication, and our task is to bring this art to life. Your work will fill our studio with meaning, emphasising its uniqueness and bringing us closer to our clients.
The main task of PR managers is to find potential clients, actively communicate with them and offer our unique design services.
What we can offer
1. OnTheProduct tariff plans: We provide our clients with three options for cooperation:
- ‘Standard’ subscription: This plan is available for $3,499 and includes access to our full range of design services for 30 business days, and you can work on one task at a time.
- Premium subscription: The Premium plan costs $5,999 and allows you to work on two jobs at once for 30 business days. The Premium plan doubles the amount of work that can be done in 30 working days.
- Individual client: We also welcome individual clients with orders of $1,000 or more. We are ready to discuss their needs and provide customised solutions.
2. Benefit for the client: Our tariffs provide customers with practicality and cost-effectiveness. Paying for the tariff in advance allows you to control costs and ensures long-term cooperation. Our tariffs provide a full range of design services, reducing the need to search for different specialists, which saves time and money for the client.
OnTheProduct Specialization
At OnTheProduct, we work with a variety of businesses, but our main focus is on three key areas:
- 1) E-commerce is a specific business segment where companies sell goods online. These businesses usually have a wide range of products and constantly update their offerings. They need effective and attractive design to stand out from the competition and attract customers.
- 2) Companies - in this category, we work with businesses that specialise in the production or sale of physical goods. This can be a wide range of products, including gaming merchandise, electronics, devices, and much more. We help them create unique designs and advertising for their products.
- 3) Crypto companies - although we are always ready to consider cooperation with crypto companies, they have a lower priority. These are companies related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies. We are open to exploring opportunities in this area, but our main focus is on the first two types of businesses, where we have a wealth of experience and expertise in creating outstanding design.
P.S. We also focus on advertising our company through influencers, but we will talk about that later.
At OnTheProduct, we take an individual approach to each of these areas, but e-commerce businesses are a priority when looking for clients.
Finding E-commerce clients
1) Currently, the most popular platform for online sales is Shopify. There are many companies on this platform, and to effectively approach them, we recommend starting with a list of sites built on Shopify. This list can be found here.
Sorting the sites by popularity will allow us to evaluate the success of each store and identify the target audience for communication. We recommend contacting brands that specialise in home accessories, electronics, devices and other products that potentially require designer services. In addition, our portfolio has extensive experience in this area.
In this case, for example, I'll use Keychron.
2) After clicking on the company's domain, you will see something like this:
After visiting the company's website, we recommend that you read the information about the company. We focus on websites that attract between 5000 and 15000 visitors per day. It is important to pay attention to the website design. If we see a high-quality design and the use of renderings instead of product photos, the likelihood that the company will be interested in working with us decreases. However, in some cases, this risk pays off if the company is planning a website redesign.
3) The next step is to contact the selected company, and here we have two options:
3.1) Write by email: The email address can be found on the website using a free plugin Email Finder by Snov.io.
We recommend looking for contacts of the funder, marketing department, or, as a last resort, contacting the support team.
3.2) If the company's website has a feedback form, you can leave your contact details and messages there. However, the best option is 3.1.
4) In both cases, you need to offer your services. It would be nice to be able to tailor the offer to each client, but this can be difficult, as it requires a deep understanding of the client's needs and interests.
Once we send an application or letter to the client, our work with them is complete.
Search for companies
Start by looking for companies that specialise in the production or sale of physical goods. You can search for them on various online platforms, including social media such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, as well as websites and online marketplaces.
2) Selecting companies to contact
Assess the potential of each company. Research their operations, products and services, as well as their social media activity. Select the companies that you think could benefit from our services. When selecting companies to contact, pay attention to the following criteria:
2.1) Current state of design: Study the design and product concept of the company. If you see that the company already has a high-quality design and products that are successfully selling, then the likelihood that they will need our services may be lower.
2.2) The needs of the company: Look at the needs and objectives of the company. If they have specific needs in the area of design or product concept improvement, this can be a good indicator of potential interest in our services.
2.3) It is important to find a balance between selecting companies with potential interest and real needs, and those where our offer can really come in handy.
When approaching companies, try to create personalised messages. Indicate that you have studied their business and seen the potential for improving the design and concept of their products.
4) Information request
Your first message should not be an offer or an advertisement. Ask informational questions related to their products and design. Try to establish a dialogue and find out how you can help.
When you have some information about the company and their needs, offer them our services. Explain what solutions you can offer and how they can improve their product design and concept.
Remember that every company is unique, and your approach should be personalised. Consider the specifics and needs of each company when communicating with them.
Leave room for a response and discussion. Follow up on responses and prepare to discuss the details and terms of cooperation.
An example of searching for companies on Instagram
There is an effective method of finding potential customers that uses the Instagram platform. Instead of simply scouring through listings on various websites, you can conduct a more targeted search using the following approach:
1. Identify business examples:
Start by searching for businesses and industries that match your criteria. You can use hashtags, keywords, and other filters to find relevant profiles.
2. Subscribe to similar businesses:
Once you have found relevant profiles, subscribe to them. This will give you access to a list of similar businesses.
3. Initiate contact via Direct Message (DM):
After subscribing, you will have the option to contact the administrators or owners of these profiles via Direct Message. Here you can offer your services or products by presenting your offer in a professional manner.
4. Linking to websites:
If a profile has a link to a website, you can go to the website and use other methods of customer acquisition, such as offering a suggestion through a feedback form or sending an email.
This method allows you to find potential customers on Instagram in a more targeted and efficient way. Follow a businesslike and professional style of communication to create a positive impression and increase the chances of successful cooperation. It is also possible to go to the company's website, in which case you can use the methods described in 3.1 and 3.2.
Finding Crypto companies
Crypto companies are actively present on various platforms such as Telegram, Twitter, and specialised forums, including Solido (https://solido.games/) etc. Searching on these platforms can help us find potential clients in this area.
The cryptocurrency market is currently undergoing a special dynamic. It can be less stable and predictable than other business areas. For this reason, crypto companies are not currently our priority. Nevertheless, we are ready to consider cooperation with crypto companies to diversify our portfolio.
• Searching for crypto companies on Twitter
1. Search for hashtags and keywords: Start by searching for hashtags and keywords related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain. For example, you can search for hashtags such as #P2E (Play to Earn), #DeFi (Decentralised Finance) and other related areas.
2. View the results: After the search, you will see a list of tweets and accounts related to the selected hashtags and keywords. Analyse these results and select the accounts of crypto companies that seem to be potential clients for our studio.
3. Send an offer in a personal message: After selecting an account, send a personal message introducing yourself and offering our design services.
4. Wait for a response: After sending the offer, wait for the prospect to respond. Listen carefully to their needs and offer a customised solution that fits their business.
• Searching for crypto companies in Telegram
An effective way to find crypto companies on Telegram is to follow crypto influencers. These users actively discuss and promote various projects. If they make promotional posts about a company or project, it may indicate that this company is potentially interested in design services.
2. Sending an offer in personal messages:
After finding a suitable project through crypto-influencers, send an offer in personal messages. Your message should be professional and informative. Introduce yourself, tell about our design studio and offer our services.
To draw attention to your message in the chat, use the ‘@’ symbol and specify the username of the person to whom you sent the offer. For example, you can write ‘@founder, please check DM! Thanks’
Searching for Influencers
Recently we started working on social media part of our agency, so now we are also actively looking for promotion. It is very similar with the searching for companies in Instagram, but this time your goal is to find influencers. We are looking for people whose audience contains entrepreneurs, business owners, etc.
This way we can offer our services, or commision to them for promotion in social media. This is also very necessary part, and it will be rewarded not worse than finding the clients for our agency.
