Electric cars are cheap to operate, and with the new Seat Mii Electric, they are also cheap to buy. When SEAT's first electric car premieres in Europe, it will be priced at 20,000 euros. In other words, Seat Mii Electric is now one of the cheapest electric cars.
You get a perfect city or commuter car for that price: it has no emissions, is nimble in traffic, and is easy to park. The electric motor provides 61 kW (83 hp) and 212 Nm, and the lithium-ion battery has a net capacity of 32.3 kWh. It gives the SEAT Mii electric a range of up to 260 km (WLTP), so it can also be used on longer trips outside the city. If you only drive in the city, the range goes up to 358 km (WLTP). 0-100 km / h happens in 12.3 seconds, and the top speed is 130 km / h.
The Seat Mii Electric car offers far more standard equipment than traditional microcars. Perhaps the most important standard equipment is the option of fast charging at 40 kW DC with a CCS connector, which charges the battery to 80 % in one hour. If you charge with 7.2 kW AC at a charging station in the city or a charging box at home, a charge to 80 % takes about 4 hours.
Last but not least, Seat Mii Electric has an air conditioning system that can be remotely controlled via SEAT Connect, where you, among other things you can control Mii electric's air conditioning, so you can pre-heat the car's interior in on a cold winter day and cool the car's interior on a hot summer day. It has the DriveMii app, which turns the driver's smartphone into both navigation and trip computer in the car.
The long list of standard equipment continues with 16-inch alloy wheels, traffic sign recognition, roadside assistant, rear parking sensors, light and rain sensors, LED daytime running lights. In addition, you can enjoy cruise control, heated windshield, heated electric side mirrors, ambient light in the cabin, height-adjustable driver's seat and seat heating.
The charging box from Clever is included in the price.
To make it easy for customers, the Seat Mii Electric will be sold, including a Clever Unlimited subscription (in some countries) with unlimited power at a fixed monthly price, standard installation of a charging box and a charging chip that gives access to Clever's nationwide network of public charging stations.
