"With the delicacy of her fingertips, her voice laced with honey, her eyes filled with warmth and her soul embraced with the blessing of a power meant to mend and never break; marigold was created with a god's special gift, raising her to a level above mere humans. she was born to be the medicine, to be the patch covering the soul of a wounded being and to be the answer to adesperate prayer. her existence almost mythical, but her powers penetrate the frabics of reality; making her all so true and her presence felt by all those who cross paths with her.

Marigold's fate in life was sort of a predetermined one, born to a mother who was the village's hereditary witch and a father who was it's most skilled swordsman; Marigold was an admirable creation.

When it was known to her mother that her child would be a girl, she prayed to the gods she devoted herself to, to keep her most precious possession safe within their embrace and to bless the little girl with abilities that will enlighten her as she walks through the path of life.

Her father got down on his knees with a tightened grip on his katana, as he made an oath to protect his little girl and to pass down his capabilities to her, step by step, until she would become a mirrored version of him or even better.

And then Marigold was born.

A testimony to her parents' legacies. And a visual representation of magnificent beauty.

For the first six years of her life, Marigold lived as a mortal. She was loved, cared for and taken care of by her folks and the people around the village. She was a smart, kind little girl with a big heart, mind filled with curiosity and a soul that radiated warmth serenity.

It wasn't until one random day at the age of six, that her world turned upside down when a cut she attained on her knee while running around her yard magically healed on it's own in an instant timing; the day she had awakened her powers.

From that day forward, Marigold has grown and her powers have evolved step by step as she got older with time. To her and her mother's surprise, she did not inherit the full set of her mother's powers; but instead Marigold was growing up to be what is called a "Healer". And her powers weren't completely awakened at the moment of occurrence, they needed, and still need to this day, development and a lot of practice.

Marigold was more than happy being just a healer, although deep down inside her, she also hoped that someday she will unlock more powers and extend her limits like the woman she's grown to adore and look up to.

But awakening her powers wasn't the only thing Marigold experienced in life. At the age of ten, she held her very first wooden sword and had another whole world opened up for her; the world of being a swordsman and learning her dad's breathing forms.

Her dad's breathing forms were called sun breathing forms, those that he inherited from his own father; her late grandfather. He was a very skilled dedicated man, his sword never missed, never chipped and never cracked. He was admired by the villagers for his bravery and contributions in fighting off any intruders that dared to harm the village.

Marigold looked up to her father as well, admired him from the depths of her heart. She promised to never let him down, to carry on his legacy like he carried his father's. And from that point forward and beyond; she has grown into a spectacular, striking swordswoman. She obtained what is called moon breathing forms, which she has created by herself.

At the age of 16, she was given her very own sword, one with her name engraved on it, made by the most talented blacksmith they know as to honor her for her ambition and indescribable abilities. The sword was a special one, carrying the a ability to shrink into a dagger so that Marigold could carry it around with her without raising suspension or marking herself as a target for her enemies.

At the age of 20, Marigold decided to move on with her life in the village and experience more of the modern world on her own. She sought to make a peaceful quiet life for herself somewhere she could call home. With a bittersweet goodbye and heartfelt promise to come see them whenever she could, Marigold began her journey in Seoul where she went to college and got herself a small apartment she could live in with her fur baby nala that she rescued and adopted.

Now, having just recently turned 24, Marigold is living a life she's happy with, around her loved ones and everyday she awakes with a thrill of what kind of adventures her days would bring her.

After all, she was capable of what the mortals weren't capable of.

She has evolved into a powerful, graceful and capable version of herself; coming to terms with her healing powers that carried great importance to the world around her.
