DAPPCON24: Intents and the Future of DeFi
Tigran Bolshoi, one of the founders of Kinetex, will speak at the DAPPCON24 conference in Berlin on Tuesday, May 21st. He will share his perspective on the future of DeFi.
During his presentation, Bolshoi will focus on the changes driving the Internet toward a more efficient and decentralized future. Today, the Internet can be compared to an encyclopedia or a collection thereof. When people need information, they use preferred search engines to find it. Such searches involve inputting a query, sifting through sources to locate the necessary information, and sometimes reading a lot of unnecessary or even totally incorrect data.
While virtual assistants, such as Siri, aim to make internet interactions quicker, more enjoyable, and more fruitful, the lack of standardization and shortcomings of the mechanisms used often result in unsatisfactory or unreliable results. Bolshoi believes that intents will be paramount in bridging the gap between humans and information, providing a standardized structure for requests and responses. At the same time, various AI-powered tools will work across different domains, guided by intents, analyzing data and formulating accurate responses to queries.
Among other valuable technologies for the DeFi future, Bolshoi highlights zero-knowledge and blockchain technologies, which will be responsible for ensuring enhanced security of data, both personal and public.
