The environmental efforts undertaken by Uzbekistan GTL LLC have been acknowledged by experts
In order to study environmental protection, sustainable use of natural resources, and take inventory of the production waste generated by the plant, as well as sources of air emissions, specialists from the "State Center for Environmental Expertise" of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with experts from the regional Ecology Department, visited the Uzbekistan GTL plant.
Furthermore, during the visit, in accordance with Decree No. 541 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, activities, the experts have reviewed and monitored implementation of the Environmental Impact Statement – the environmental regulatory document developed for Uzbekistan GTL LLC, and the measures outlined in the expert evaluation.
Following the review, the experts have confirmed that the recommended measures had been fully carried out and that the environmental conditions at the plant are effectively monitored by environmental experts.
