With the involvement of scientists, Uzbekistan GTL to start extraction of a valuable product from industrial waste
A meeting took place at Uzbekistan GTL LLC with a representative from the Institute of Materials Science of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan to discuss scientific and technical collaboration. The meeting was attended by the plant management and key employees from the localization department.
During the meeting, participants presented and discussed the initial laboratory findings on industrial waste from the Fischer-Tropsch reactor at Uzbekistan GTL plant and the filter units of the Product work-up workshop.
The initial stage of extracting unique metal compounds, saturated hydrocarbons, and silicon oxides from these filter units has been completed.
Priority areas and strategies to enhance bilateral cooperation in the advanced processing of waste from the units were also identified during the meeting.
