Engineering Lead Data Science
As Engineering Lead, you and your team will build and operate production grade machine learning systems, focused on supervised learning, which will, in turn, have a profound impact on our client's business.
Where your expertise is needed:
- Lead others through complex, distributed systems, and understand the principles of highly available, scalable, maintainable and performant services
- Encourage individuals to grow their skills and capabilities through discovering and following their passion and purpose
- Facilitate collaboration and decision-making between different engineering teams and stakeholders and drive projects towards the realization of company goals.
Requirements:
- Experienced in building, developing and managing teams of engineers and data scientists in an agile environment, and coaching them into finding the best possible solution
- Experience in delivering production-grade machine learning systems, designing and operating scalable, highly-available, secure and well-monitored systems
- Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial thinking, and ability to lead projects and groups, including managing complex projects with various stakeholders through the whole company
- Python
- R
- Scala/Spark/Hadoop Experience is a big plus. But not mandatory
