Alumni & Career Services Specialist в BCG

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Arrange for outplacement and strategic placement of internal and external candidates, as well as former employees;
  • Provide a market overview to candidates (pay level, vacancies, tendencies, trends): prepare brief reviews of compensation levels as requested by candidates, introduce candidates to relevant experts;
  • Perform analytical work on the matching of candidates and vacancies, present a pool of candidates to HR-directors of companies, Executive search consultants; request references;
  • Interact with BCG management on employment of candidates (arrange for the involvement of relevant executives in supporting candidates’ employment);
  • Assist alumni and clients in filling vacancies;
  • Arrange career consulting and coaching services to employees leaving the company (defining development areas, writing a detailed individual development plan, defining work search strategies, drawing up CVs, elaborating positioning aspects, preparing for an interview);
  • Develop the database of HR contacts (connections, achievement of agreements with companies on employment-related cooperation);
  • Maintain the database of Career Services vacancies (handling of information, interviews with candidates, preparing for interviews), as well as the career page on bcg.com website;
  • Conduct exit interviews with staff, process feedback on interview results;
  • Provide an overall management of Alumni & Career Services function (budgeting, drawing up activity plans, planning events, communications and key initiatives);
  • Lead the Alumni & Career Services team: training, coaching, development (1 employee);
  • Maintain SMM alumni, handle queries and comments;
  • Draw up and send out Career Services & Alumni communications for the office, former staff, OPPL Group;
  • Conduct interviews with former employees;
  • Prepare alumni magazine Panorama;
  • Organize and hold events for former employees of the company (Alumni Day, Class Reunion, events featuring speakers, training activities );
  • Organize farewells for employees;
  • Update the alumni database on a regular basis, including updates of the Alumni Board in the office (once a year);
  • Providing support to BCG leadership in maintaining links between the company and its former employees (Trustee program);
  • Collect a feedback on Alumni & Career Services function performance;
  • Present the function at intro-trainings and office events;
  • Coordinating work of Alumni & Career Services functions with other people functions in Moscow office;
  • Collect, analyze & implement best practices of alumni relations management from other BCG systems and from the market.

  • Self-motivated and trustworthy. You take initiative and are able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information
  • Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting periods

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • At least 3-4 years of full-cycle recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required. Prior professional services recruiting experience a plus.
  • Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization
  • Flexibility required, particularly around peak recruiting season and planning weeks;
  • Attendance at key evening and weekend events required

Technical skills:

  • Strong computer and database skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (preferred), and PowerPoint
