You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and enjoy working with strategic, tactical, and operational tasks in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.
You know how to implement long-term plans and follow set goals, to attract, grow, deploy, reward and support co-workers & leaders. You confidently explore and use psychometric tools and assessments in candidate recruitment and/or co-worker performance & development situations. You use your experience in assessing candidate behaviours, know-how about labour market trends and analyse data from digital sources to gain insights of IKEA customers for business purposes to help IKEA to attract talents. You also have knowledge about country legal requirements associated with recruitment and selection. You know the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation.
You demonstrate general leadership ability and effectiveness in leading a specialist team with the capacity to handle multiple priorities, initiatives, interfaces and tasks. You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility. You express your ideas and opinions effectively with ability to influence and inspire. You demonstrate deep knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation. You apply business knowledge and leverage digital best practices to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
For this role we believe you bring a strong track record in HR Management working with complex teams and organisations. You are experienced in recruitment and HR with proven record of hiring and developing people. You participate in complex projects and interact with global matrix organization. You have managed a team, either directly or indirectly. You have a great passion for people development and are creative to design, implement and develop a comprehensive onboarding mindset with the Company. You are able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in written.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
In the role as Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding leader, you are responsible for leading the process around recruitment and onboarding for the country organisation in order to attract, recruit and onboard talented candidates to fill job vacancies, and retain talent long term.
You will:
•Support the implementation of the IKEA Talent approach in the organisation by aligning the recruitment strategy accordingly
•Drive recruitment, onboarding and selection concept, frameworks, approach and process in order to secure successful implementation in the country
•Be responsible for collecting and reporting country recruitment, onboarding and selection needs to the Centre of Expertise
•Ensuring that recruitment actions are aligned with our business direction and processes both globally and locally (e.g. country direction, business plans, market penetration plan and management and competence review) and support our EVP in the desired way
•Have local responsibility for onboarding: monitor new co-worker orientation and on boarding programs, advise and provide expertise to P&C Managers and line managers who execute on boarding activities
•Lead country specific selection processes as needed (e.g. background checks, temporary workers, etc.)
•Lead building effective sourcing, assessment and closing approaches with an ability to manage stakeholder expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment
•Coach, influence and support matrix partners and unit organisation regarding the recruitment strategies, processes and tools in order to increase quality of recruitment process
•Collaborate with country Leadership & Competence Development function to ensure alignment between recruiting strategy and succession plan
•Collaborate with Diversity, Equality and Inclusion to secure a broad diverse work force as well as being an attractive employer
•Monitor external employer and workforce trends and leverage for adaptation of recruitment, attraction and sourcing strategies at country level
