I'm getting flashbacks of looking on you Casta see if I got accepted into Exeter on a level results days hello it's Ruby and today I am going to be opening up my exam results for the end of first year so they've just completed an email and I haven't liked it yeah I'm very nervous I literally I hadn't been thinking about.

I didn't think they'd come out yet I thought they'd come out in July so I was just you know getting on with my day doing some admin and bits and then I got a notification for my extra amount address like your exam results are here um and immediately my stomach turned and I know very nervous and I'm going to be doing a live reaction because I always do this and people seem to like to see it on oh my goodness I'm so nervous well as good an email from my past miss you sir he's so lovely oh she just sent me a really nice email that's cool.

I'm gonna open these up just to kind of reflect on what I think is gonna happen my final exam was terrible like it was genuinely atrocious. I think I got a third on it if that it was just terrible um I think my philosophy papers weren't better but I think the grading is harsh of her philosophy than it is for theology. I'm not sure so in my first time I didn't end up getting it fast. Which I was really really really happy with but I think that that was mainly because one of my piece of coursework? I did do kind of like drain Jenny Boylan so I got 84 and one of my pieces of coursework which really bumps out the rest of my grade which meant that I could have forgot her fast so I might took the first overall but I definitely haven't got a fast in these exams. it was since your exam results but huh I'm confused Akane knowledge and reality oh yeah okay that's another exam philosophical problems okay I got 68 on philosophical problems which I'm not entirely happy with that was my favorite module that. I did this time but it was very close to her first and okay whoo I'm happy with that for introduction to philosophical analysis I got a 72 which I'm definitely happy about a cane how did that happen this happens as well at my last one it was the exam I was most nervous for yeah I thought I did really bad you in one of my religion in one of my theology modules last time and I ended up getting and I think I was like an 80 and I were thinking what that was all night oh I did say badly on then I was quite good cuz. I got a 70 in that one which I'm very happy with actually okay cool okay so the one that I thought that had gone better I thought philosophy of religion had gone really well and I got a 68 in that so this is like my final grade I'm gonna go through and I'm gonna tell you all of the marks and then we're gonna calculate the average and see what. I got overall knowledge or reality in the 30 minute questionnaire I got 69 and in the exam I got 60 so overall I got 62 percent which was a pass that's a 2 1 philosophical problems in the exam like of 68 and that was a hundred percent in the grade so we got 68 percent overall evidence argument all examiner got 74 percent introduction to philosophical analysis which was my hardest module. I got 72 for some which I'm really really really happy with religion in the modern world. I got oh yeah this is why exam I got 64 that makes more sense I was thinking how did that happen in the essay I got a 77 so I already had that mark I got that back. I was really happy with that I worked very hard on that pay for essay and then for the teamwork I got 67 which was like this little group presentation that we did so 67 I'm not too happy with for a presentation but I'm happy with it I'm happy with our 78 we will in the module Bible past and present it was all coursework so for the first piece of course I got 71 and then for the second I got 84 which meant that. I was 79 overall and Bible past and present Christian origins I got 74 in the essay and 80 in the exams at 77 overall first off philosophy of religion and Christian ethics in the exam. I got 70 67 percent and the contribution to the teamwork report I got 68 present so over when I got 68 percent and then average Chiron looked like a average credit weighted mark okay.

I just got first like just I got 70 1.25 a first is 70 percent and above 2 1 is 60 to 70 percent a 2 2 is 50 to 60 percent and a side is 40 to 50 percent and anything under 40 percent is the film I got seventy one point two five which is just a first just a fast like you need 70 percent to get the first and I got seventy one point two five but I'm so happy with that because it is still a first and I was really convinced I wasn't gonna get that overall because I wasn't I thought my exams hadn't gone great um I'm happy with that seventy one point two five so some of you might have watched the very first reaction that I did to a grade which was a formative essay so it doesn't actually count towards your overall grade um it was my first one that I dumped a philosophy and I didn't do very well on it and I reacted to it and I was very very upset with my mark but as maybe you can see in the last two reaction videos I've done including this one things are getting better as as I as we get used to the university system get used to a new grading system we can improve and we can get better if we look hard that's it yeah I'm really really really happy with with these marks thank you so much for watching this reaction video I you enjoyed it and I hope that you have a productive week

How to do MLA format for your works cited page I know it's something that a lot of my peers struggle with and I struggle with too sometimes because I could never remember you know if that title goes first author goes wherever the publisher date.

I'm going to show how to set up the page for that and then I'm going to show how to format specific sources for probably the three most commonly used ones so after you've got a lot of your essay here.

You probably put in something from a source you know some information you need to cite it and you need to put it on the works cited page. Create your works cited page you go to the last page of your document go to the end of the last paragraph and hit control enter and that's going to just bring up a new page there what you want to do with that first line of text is hit this Center icon here you need to Center it and write works cited then hit enter and left align the text after that. Now we're down to where we're going to enter in our sources to do this properly we need to go up here to this tool for adjusting the tabs in the indent if you go to the top one it'll say first line indent you don't want that one you want to go to the kind of the middle button there said hanging indent just drag that over half an inch and what that's going to do is set up your sources in proper format so now. I guess I'll go over some of the most common ones I guess most of us are probably going to be pay for my essay at 3 a.m. you know the day it's due. I'm assuming the most common source is going to be a web page or an article from a database a lot of us aren't going to be running out to the library 3 a.m. so webpage what you want to do is enter the author if you know who the author is and it would go last name first name is going to be the format for pretty much any source and then in quotations you put the title of the webpage this is for one specific page on a website so let's say this one is now I'll just do this make it simple and then you close the quotations and then in italics you can hit ctrl.

I to get the italics or you can come up here just click it you type the title of the website so that's for the whole website you hit period space and you don't want to be italic anymore and here you're going to put the publisher date or the company sorry the publisher name or the company that's affiliated with the website that's publishing it online and then you want to do a comma instead of a period this time. I do the date usually just a year something like that or if there's no date you can do nd same for no publisher say there is no publisher I can do and P that's no publisher next you need to type the form which would be web we're accessing it online it's going to be web and then you type the date that you accessed it. I'm making this on February 8 think so it's like that see what it did do is if they did it hanging ending so that there's for a web page you can see it went back out to a left aligned first line of the next paragraph that paragraph is going to be next source so now we're going to do an article from a database very similar most of these are very similar honestly. If you get it close most professors are not gonna care but some do oh it's just better to be a safe and sorry the same for this you're going to go last name of the author first now for both of these um for any source. If you don't know the name you just don't put it you go straight to the title or straight to you know the website so here you do the title of the article followed by a period you close the quotations in italics you do the name of the journal or periodical and then get rid of your italics again control I or just click I and then you type the version number let's say you know or version or issue which so could be issue 10 version 1 whatever you can do ten point one in that case then in quotations due date usually that's just the year and then do it:

- let me say what pages you used so let's say you page one say three through six you do it like that then you want to do again in italics or control.

I the name of the database for a lot of us that's going to be obscure or you know usually let's go get rid of your italics again and we access it online so we'll do web and then you want to do again the date accessed which in this case I'll just say it again 8 February 2013 this third one here is for a book it's usually not one we're going to use where this generation we're researching everything online for better for worse but a lot of professors are going to require that at least one or two your sources come from books from printed material so same format you're going to go last name and then first name and then instead of quotations this time we're going to italicize it I put the title of the book followed by a period get rid of the italics but the city where it was published and then a colon the name of the publisher the company that published it and then a comma year it was published just the Year thought you need then since this is a printed document we write print and that's it if it wasn't a book this is going to be kind of a newer thing I'm assuming at this point where it says print you would just type a book like that and then in the actual document you'll reference the pages that you used so that should be it is enough I guess top three most common sources that are going to be used thanks for watching
