Backstory

So, let's get this started. It was a slow evening, nothing much going on. Fresh off completing some online courses, I wanted to put my newfound skills to the test – you know, dodging ad blockers and promoting stuff that's usually banned from social media.

Without even realizing it, I stumbled into a team of traffic arbitragers specializing in the iGaming space.

Regarding the casino itself, I'm not 100% sure if it was a straight-up scam. But after discussing the project with some close friends, I got that kind of vibe. Sketchy, let’s say.

The Beginning

Like with any new team, I was given a test and a $100 budget to show what I could do. The geo for the test was Uzbekistan.

My job was to drive traffic to a Telegram chatbot. I nailed that part, generating a ton of leads. But here's the rub: after the first 2-3 minutes, people just vanished. Ghosted.

Round 2

After chewing over the initial test, they offered me one last shot at a different market (country) with a slightly tweaked funnel.

This time it was India, same $100 budget. But this time I just had to deliver leads which were then passed on to the sales team.

These sales guys would call up the leads and pitch them on registering at the casino with the promise of a sweet +30% return on their deposit annually.

Again, I launched the campaign, and the results were good enough to impress the team.

The Finale

After that successful test run, I got an offer to join the team full-time, and I accepted.

Objectives

• Create a consistent stream of traffic for the casino.

• Generate 500+ leads daily (targeting people with deep pockets but nothing to spend their cash on).

The Solution

Over time, I discovered a particular ad strategy that delivered the results I needed.

I was able to manage an ad budget of $500-700 daily and consistently hit the targets for lead volume.

During my time with the traffic arbitrage team, I worked with various countries: India, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, England, Australia. Even ran ads in Hong Kong.

I tested a bunch of different offers and eventually found my sweet spot.

I used different types of ad accounts: aged/farmed accounts, auto-registered accounts, and agency accounts.

I created various ad formats, using both photo and video content.

Results

Here, I’ll share only a piece of the results to give you an idea of where the title of this article comes from.

The screenshots above show 13,000+ leads. The lead-to-deposit conversion rate for the casino was around 30-36%.

Stats for 100 Leads

From this screenshot, you can see that 29 people showed interest and were ready to make a deposit into the casino. And 19 people were in the process of speaking with a manager. The total number of people in this screenshot who left an application is 98.

Conclusion

So, based on the results of this case study, I attracted 5,000+ new players to the casino, based on the data outlined above.

Specifically, with a conversion rate of 30-36% from 100 leads.

The total number of leads in this case was somewhere around 15,000+.

I spent $13,000 on this ad campaign.

How a beauty salon can recoup 9 times its advertising costs in 1 month

I was approached by a client who owns a Lash Lab in Dubai.

He had no previous experience in running targeted advertising. I was required to launch promotion of the Standard and Premium training programs, as well as to attract clients for eyelash extensions, a direct service of the salon.

CHALLENGE

with the help of advertising in Instagram and Facebook to get applications for training and eyelash extension service

- set up analytics of advertising campaigns;

- optimize advertising - bring advertising indicators to ideal values.

COMMUNICATION FEATURES

The customer was 3,900 km away from me and wanted to actively participate in the promotion work. I provided such an opportunity - a daily report on the results in Viber.

Through client engagement and daily communication, we reached an understanding and maximized collaboration.

KEY DECISIONS

1. Courses cost $817 (300 AED) for the Standard program and $1,080 (4,000 AED) for the Premium program.

I developed a sales funnel and a traffic map. The decisive stage in promoting the courses was a lead magnet - a free master class where the girls understood the value of learning.

Properly set up advertising and sales content guaranteed an application that went into the client's CRM system.

The client's main one-page website was additionally used to promote eyelash extension services.

2. I offered to prepare bilingual ads, as Dubai is a multicultural metropolis. The client agreed, despite the increased advertising budget.

Thanks to my knowledge of English, I prepared banners and set up advertising not only for Russian-speaking but also for English-speaking audiences.

As a result, the ads were seen by twice as many potential clients.

They helped to create creative banners and to attract
attention of the audience.

SALES FUNNEL AND TRAFFIC MAP

THE PROBLEM

In the process, a difficulty arose: some requests came into the CRM system with a phone number that could not be reached.

Because of this, the customer could not process such requests and lost clients.

In the UAE, 70% of the population are emigrants. Therefore, they left their contacts as it was customary in the countries,

where they came from.

To avoid losing some customers, I added a hint to the capture form: the international code of the phone number.

RESULTS

30 applications for eyelash extension service. Advertising brought 351 clicks to the site. Cost per click - 0.48$ (1.75 AED)
20 requests for a free master class. Advertising brought 324 click-throughs to the site. Cost per click - $0.54 (1.97 AED)
5 applications for training.

A client invested $650 in targeted advertising. These investments brought income of over $6,000.

Thus, the advertising paid off 9 times (ratio of income to expenses).

I was approached by a client with the task of increasing the number of sales from a personal instagram profile. The client is a flower business in America.

Decision

Advertising budget -25$ per day. Run ads using autoplay and target engagement to get hits in direct. Advertising - Flower delivery in LA. Wedding and event decorating.
Additionally it was proposed to run advertising on the site, come up with a drawing of flowers and run traffic to instagram-account to attract new subscribers who will subsequently buy flowers and not only.

Audience : Los Angeles (CA, USA) and its suburbs. Glendale + 40 mile radius. Age 25-50 years old M/W ( general audience with no interests).

Implementation

Created promotional video creative with a discount offer, time limit for ordering, with free delivery and combined offer of two services (bouquet purchase and event design)

The results

The commercials were paused before the holiday

Spent advertising budget 500$

We received 50 requests through the advertising office in the process of work + additional clients applied after the holidays.

We got new active subscribers to our Instagram account who further applied to the company for services.
