From intrigue in The Open League to the essentials inside Ton Raffles

We've already gained a launchpad’s reputation. Some say that Ton Raffles is the TOP-1 launchpad on the TON blockchain. We are pleased in this title, but still, for the platform that we are building, the definition is a bit narrow. Ton Raffles is a no-code service that allows any user of the TON blockchain to build their own ecosystem. This can be done by our products: locks, stakings, mass-sender, airdrops, token minter.

It turns out that it is not a single launchpad. But now, anyway, it is this product that projects need the most.

And now a response to comments from the series «What a sCaM does Ton Raffles post, where is the verification of projects ay???».

Fairlaunch is not our invention. The technology was borrowed from other blockchains and the rules of operation are similar:

Prior to the token's listing on the DEX, only the fairlaunch smart-contract and Locks smart-contracts own assets. This is the only way to guarantee 100% that the token will be put on the DEX with the correct rate that was formed at the end of the launch.
At least 51% of the raised funds are allocated to liquidity.
The listing takes place on our side. At the same time, token administrators do not even touch liquidity, after which it is locked for at least 1 year.

Thus, in this way, we provide a product with basic security settings at the smart contract level. And what happens to the project's tokens after entering the DEX is not only none of our business, but also not our responsibility.

But let's share a piece of advice. Always pay attention to the Lock list. If there are token locks that are unlocked immediately after the end of Fairlaunch, there is a risk of the token sale by the administrator.

What kind of Fairlaunch update have we prepared?

1. The Hard Cap feature will be available. This is the raised fees upon reaching which the sale will end automatically.

The Ton Raffles team believes that this is not the best solution, because with a known maximum price, the launch may become unfair, and administrators will be able to conduct hidden private rounds. When researching projects, pay attention to launches without Hard Cap.

2. Introduction of cancellation of participation in Fairlaunch. If you suddenly don't understand something or don't want to participate in the launch, you will have the opportunity to return the assets without penalties.

3. Automatic start-up. A special page will be added, thanks to which any of the users will be able to fill out a clear form and immediately deploy Fairlaunch, which will be displayed on our platform. Read more about this below.

4. You can also expect launches in USDT, which will allow you to form more stable pools.

5. Affiliate Program. Honest launches should have an honest affiliate program. From now on, a separate affiliate pool will be formed, replenished with each purchase (regardless of whether by invitation or not). This pool will be divided by the participants of the affiliate program according to their share.

Let's give you an example of how the affiliate program will work.

Let's say the launch raise is 100 TON and the 5% affiliate program is enabled. Then, absolutely 5% of each purchase will go to the affiliate pool in the amount of 5 TON, respectively. If it happens that there are no participants in the affiliate program, then these 5 TON will go to the administrators of the token (launch). If any of the users becomes a member of the affiliate program and invites their friend to make an investment of 10 TON, then the partner's reward will be:

Raise Amount: 110 TON
5% affiliate program: 5.5 TON
The first participant of the affiliate program will receive the entire 5.5 TON pool.

After the second participant joins the affiliate program, the share distribution will begin to operate.
For example, if this participant invited a friend who made an investment of 20 TON, then the reward for affiliates would be as follows:

Raise Amount: 130 TON
5% affiliate program: 6.5 TON
First participant of the affiliate program (10 TON friend's investment): ~2.16 TON
Second participant of the affiliate program (friend's investment 20 TON): ~4.33 TON

How will the auto-start work?

Here's what the auto-start algorithm looks like:

User creates a token, for example, here -> https://tonraffles.app/jetton/mint
Then you need to create Locks according to the tokenomics of the project, but save tokens for sale and tokens for listing -> https://tonraffles.app/lock
Visit the new page, fill out the form for the launch and deploy the smart-contract. After the required amount of tokens is deposited to the smart-contract — the launch will be displayed on the site in the section -> https://tonraffles.app/jetton/launchpad
Now you just need to wait for the launch to complete, after which the selected DEX will automatically be listed when filling out the form, and the rest goes to the wallet that was deployed by the smart-contract (that is the user's wallet).

Why is it reliable and safe?

The Fairlaunch smart-contract, after the launch is complete, sends the assets to the DEX-router smart-contract, which performs an automatic listing. And the resulting LP-token is locked in the Locks smart-contract. In this way, each party automatically receives its assets in a decentralized manner without third-party interference.

Why might it be unsafe?

We don't know what's on the minds of token administrators. And now the launch will be even easier, so carefully study each project you invest in. As you may have already understood, we can provide a basic set of rules at the blockchain level and make everything as secure as possible, but the development of the project and its fate lies entirely on the shoulders of the administrators.

And now there will be a lot of paragraphs about OOIA.

This is an NFT marketplace that has not yet left the beta stage. We helped the team dive into the TON blockchain, learn standards, and establish contacts in the ecosystem, however...

Bullrun happened. And it didn't just affect a TON. On Solana, there are more X's, more movement, and you need to code what the «former» OOIA team already knows how to do. Therefore, they focused on projects on this blockchain. And the development of the marketplace has faded into the background. At the same time, the Ton Raffles team had no influence on this process and could only recommend speeding up the launch of the project. As a result, we have what we have, namely a whole set of developments:

fixed sale (you can edit the price without removing the sale, you do not need to attach 1 TON to transactions and you can sell for tokens);
NFT shopping cart;
NFT lending between users (p2p, choose the best offer in TON or tokens for a period that is comfortable for you);

Now exhale! We bought back part of the OOIA.

It was long. It was hard. It was expensive. But now we have more rights in the development of the project.

За нами уже закрепилась лаунчпадная слава. Мол, Ton Raffles — ТОП-1 лаунчпад на блокчейне TON. Нам приятно в этом звании, но все же для площадки, которую мы строим, определение узковато. Ton Raffles — это ноу-код сервис, который позволяет любому пользователю блокчейна TON построить собственную экосистему. Это позволяют сделать наши продукты: локи, стейкинги, масс-сендеры, аирдропы, жетон-минтеры.

Получается, не лаунчпадом единым. Но сейчас, как ни крути, именно этот продукт нужен проектам больше всего.

А теперь ответ на комментарии из серии «Че за сКаМ размещает у себя Ton Raffles, где проверка проектов ау???».

Fairlaunch — это не наше изобретение. Технология была позаимствована с других блокчейнов и правила работы схожи:

До листинга токена на DEX активами владеет только смарт-контракт fairlaunch и смарт-контракты Locks. Только таким методом можно гарантировать на 100%, что токен будет поставлен на DEX с правильным курсом, который сформировался при завершении запуска.
На ликвидность поставляется минимум 51% от собранных средств.
Листинг происходит на нашей стороне. При этом администраторы токенов даже не прикасаются к ликвидности, после чего она блокируется на срок минимум 1 год.

Таким образом, мы предоставляем продукт с базовыми настройками безопасности на уровне смарт-контрактов.А что будет с токенами проекта после выхода на DEX — не только не наше дело, но и не наша ответственность.

Но советом поделимся. Всегда обращайте внимание на Lock list. Если есть блокировки токенов, которые разблокируются сразу после завершения Fairlaunch, существует риск продажи токенов администратором.

Что же за обновление Fairlaunch мы подготовили?

1. Будет доступна функция Hard Cap. Это максимальная сумма сборов, при достижении которой сейл завершится автоматически.

Команда Ton Raffles считает это не лучшим решением, ведь при известной максимальной цене запуск может стать не честным, а администраторы получат возможность проводить скрытые приватные раунды. При ресерче проектов обращайте внимание на запуски без Hard Cap.

2. Вводим отмену участия в Fairlaunch. Если вы вдруг что-то не поняли или перехотели участвовать в запуске, у вас будет возможность вернуть активы без штрафов.

3. Автоматический запуск. Будет добавлена специальная страница, благодаря которой любой из пользователей сможет заполнить понятную форму и сразу же задеплоить Fairlaunch, который отобразится на нашей площадке. Об этом подробнее читайте ниже.

4. Также вас ожидают запуски в USDT, что позволит формировать более стабильные пулы.

5. Партнерская программа. На честных запусках должна быть честная партнерская программа. Теперь будет формироваться отдельный партнерcкий пул, пополняющийся с каждой покупки (вне зависимости, по приглашению или без). Данный пул разделят участники партнерской программы согласно их доле.

Рассказываем на примере, как будет работать партнерская программа.

Допустим, рейз запуска составляет 100 TON и включена партнерская программа 5%. Тогда абсолютно от каждой покупки 5% будут поступать в партнерский пул в сумме 5 TON соответственно. Если вдруг так случится, что нет участников в партнерской программе, тогда эти 5 TON перейдут к администраторам токена (запуска). Если какой-либо из пользователей станет участником партнерской программы и пригласит своего друга, который сделает инвестицию в 10 TON, то вознаграждение партнера станет:

Сумма рейза: 110 TON
5% партнерская программа: 5.5 TON
Первый участник партнерской программы получит весь пул 5.5 TON.

Как будет работать автоматический запуск?

Вот так выглядит алгоритм автоматического запуска:

Теперь необходимо просто дождаться завершения запуска, после чего автоматически произойдет листинг на выбранный DEX при заполнении формы, а оставшаяся часть поступает на кошелек, который деплоил смарт-контракт (то есть пользователя).

Почему это надежно и безопасно?

Fairlaunch смарт-контракт после завершения запуска отправляет активы на смарт-контракт DEX-router, который производит автоматический листинг. А полученный LP-токен блокируется в смарт-контракте Locks. Таким образом, каждая сторона автоматически получает свои активы децентрализованно без стороннего вмешательства.

Почему это может быть небезопасно?

Мы не знаем, что на уме у администраторов токенов. А теперь запуск станет еще проще, поэтому внимательно изучайте каждый проект, в который инвестируете. Как вы уже могли понять, мы можем обеспечить базовый набор правил на уровне блокчейна и сделать все максимально безопасно, но развитие проекта и его судьба полностью лежит на плечах администраторов.

А сейчас будет много абзацев про OOIA.

Это NFT-маркетплейс, который на данный момент так и не вышел из стадии beta. Мы помогали команде погрузиться в блокчейн TON, изучить стандарты и наладить контакты в экосистеме, однако...

Случился bullran. И он затронул не только TON. На Solana больше иксов, больше движа и кодить нужно то, что уже умеет «бывшая» команда OOIA. Поэтому они сделали акцент на проектах на этом блокчейне. А разработка маркетплейса отошла на второй план. При этом команда Ton Raffles не имела никакого влияния на этот процесс и могла лишь рекомендовать ускорить запуск проекта. В результате имеем то, что имеем, а именно — целый набор разработок:

фиксированная продажа (можно редактировать цену не снимая с продажи, не нужно прикреплять 1 TON к транзакциям и можно продавать за жетоны);
корзина для покупок NFT;
залог NFT между пользователями (выбирайте лучшее предложение в TON или жетонах на комфортный для вас срок);
и в добавок крутой и удобный дизайн.

Это было долго. Это было тяжело. Это было дорого. Но теперь имеем больше прав в процессах развития проекта.

This could have been a story about us playing in The Open League. But it turned out that not the game itself, but its aftermath became epic. Here's what we've learned about the TON blockchain over these months: things you might have missed and how we all should navigate through this.

First, about the TON that sets records and impresses with theory.

At the end of 2023, the TON blockchain set a world record by processing 104,655 transactions per second. This is 5.5 times the performance of Visa, 20 times that of Mastercard, and 14,000 times that of Bitcoin. There seems to be no doubt about the authenticity of the record: it was tested under the supervision of Certik, known for its reputation in the crypto sphere. The tests focused on the blockchain's core, allowing for impressive results with minimal infrastructure impact.

And, as usual, there comes a defining «but». Despite high performance metrics (in theory), TON faced real challenges — namely, a large number of users. This revealed issues such as temporary system failures and overloads caused by massive events like the launch of TON20 or mass-sender tests, which even led to the blockchain being blocked or stopped for several days.

Thus, records are records, but practice fell short.

What does all this mean?

Simply put, the Open League itself became a test of performance. This competition-experiment among projects was organized by the Ton Foundation to test the blockchain under real conditions in an engaging way.

Each team faced the task of showing effective metrics for the leaderboards. This is the main essence of the competition.

It all started with a pilot season. A test of a test, so to speak!

Each of the teams received almost exact instructions, which had to be followed to not drop out of the next season of Open League, and these instructions had to be integrated into their product.

Here arose a huge problem with the methodology of counting metrics, as the projects differed in their method of operation, idea, or even distribution of their tokens. And the formulas changed several times, and with each change, the balance shifted, putting some projects at the top of the table and others, conversely, at the bottom.

For instance, Ton Raffles could not afford to burn tokens. Every Lock created by a user on the platform during the Open League harmed our position. Unfortunately, we did not mention one of the utilities — staking, which when actively used by users, dropped the project down the tournament table.

After the pilot — obviously, the first season, which was not much different from the pilot. But already in the second season...

The methodology radically changed — now, what was «harmful» to do for the product in the pilot season became a useful action again, fitting into the rules of The Open League. Such periodic changes force projects to completely restructure their plans and start all over again.

You might have noticed that some teams preferred not to bother and just focused on metrics to win prizes, while others integrated useful actions and utilized the full potential of their ecosystem.

We strongly recommend studying the methodology of counting blockchain activity to better understand what the obtained metrics mean for each of the projects. The sharp increase in blockchain activity (including thanks to Open League) also reflected on Ton Raffles.

We are not against it (rather only «for» it), but predictably faced consequences. Which we dealt with all of April. Adding to the absurdity was that solving some problems required a workload from other teams in the ecosystem. Because of this, we were constantly in a suspended state of waiting.

At the end of 2023, at one of the AMA sessions, we announced that we plan to launch 200 campaigns on our platform within a year. And then everyone thought we were joking 🙂 It hasn't even been half a year, and we launched 220 tokens and several dozen NFT launches, with a total raise of more than 5.2 million TON.

The site tonraffles.app had 1.7 million unique visitors in the last 30 days.

For comparison: the TOP-1 launchpad platform in the world has 1.2 million users in a quarter (3 months). So, our platform is already facing problems and requires better solutions, better servers, and support than the TOP-1 launchpad on all other blockchains.

Such an increase in user numbers could not but affect the operation of our service and the data providers we use.

In April, our team was fully immersed in optimizing and refactoring the Ton Raffles platform, which explains the decrease in marketing activity during this period.

We have expanded our staff with several specialists and made significant changes to improve the platform's operation:

Code optimization. Almost every section of the platform is updated (or will be updated) to adapt to the increased number of users. Some sections are expecting major changes.
Technology updates. Implementation of new technologies that significantly improve the overall performance of the platform.
Update of ALL smart contracts. After validators voted to reduce network fees, another «case» occurred. Now we face the task of integrating a gas management function into absolutely every smart contract to promptly provide you with the best fees at the next validators' vote for changing fees.
Development of new services and micro-services. For example, creating a service for caching metadata and developing an intelligent proxy service that checks the status and optimizes the choice of data provider. Here, our task is to provide each user with accurate blockchain information as quickly as possible.

Эта могла бы быть история о том, как мы в The Open League играли. Но оказалось, что эпичной стала не сама игра, а ее последствия. Рассказываем, что мы поняли о блокчейне TON за эти месяцы: что могли не заметить вы и как нам всем из этого выбираться.

Сначала про тот TON, который бьет рекорды и впечатляет теорией.

В конце 2023 года блокчейн TON устанавливает мировой рекорд, обработав 104,655 транзакций в секунду. Это в 5.5 раз превосходит показатели Visa, в 20 раз — Mastercard и в 14000 раз — Bitcoin. В честности рекорда вроде нет сомнений: тестировали под наблюдением компании Certik, которая известна своей репутацией в криптосфере. Тесты были сосредоточены на ядре блокчейна, что позволило достичь впечатляющих показателей при минимальном влиянии инфраструктуры.

И, как всегда это бывает, появляется определяющее «но». Несмотря на высокие показатели производительности (в теории), TON столкнулся с испытаниями (реальными). А именно — с большим количеством пользователей. И вот тут выявились проблемы, такие как временные сбои системы и перегрузки. Они были вызваны масштабными событиями типа запуска TON20 или тестов масс-сендера. Это даже приводило к блокировке или остановке работы блокчейна на несколько дней.

Таким образом, рекорды рекордами, а практика подкачала.

К чему мы это все?

Все просто: таким же тестом производительности стала и Open League. Это соревнование-эксперимент среди проектов, которое устроило Ton Foundation, чтобы протестировать блокчейн в реальных условиях увлекательным методом.

Перед каждой командой встала задача в рамках Open League показывать результативные метрики для лидербордов. В этом и основная суть соревнования.

Все началось с пилотного сезона. Тест теста, получается!

Каждая из команд получила практически точные инструкции, которые нужно было соблюдать, чтобы не вылететь из следующего сезона Open League, а эти инструкции нужно было суметь интегрировать в свой продукт.

Здесь возникла огромная проблема с методологией подсчета метрик, так как проекты разнились по методу работы, идее или даже просто дистрибьюцией своих токенов. Ну а сами формулы изменялись несколько раз, и при каждом изменении баланс менялся, выводя какой-либо из проектов на верхние строчки в таблице, а других — наоборот.

Например, Ton Raffles не мог позволить себе сжигать токены. Абсолютно каждый созданный пользователем Lock на площадке в период проведения Open League вредил нашей позиции. Также мы, к сожалению, не упоминали некоторое время одну из утилит — стейкинг, который при активном использовании пользователями опускал проект вниз в турнирной таблице.

После пилотного — случается, очевидно, первый сезон. Который не сильно отличался от пилотного. А вот уже во втором сезоне...

Методология кардинально изменилась — и теперь то, что было «вредно» делать для продукта в пилотном сезоне, стало снова полезным действием, которое вписывается в правила The Open League. Такие периодические изменения вынуждают проекты полностью перестраивать свои планы и начинать все заново.

Вы и сами могли заметить, что некоторые команды предпочли не запариваться и заниматься только метриками для получения призовых, когда другие интегрировали полезные действия и использовали полный потенциал своей экосистемы.

Резкий скачок активности на блокчейне (в том числе благодаря Open League) отразился и на Ton Raffles.

Мы как бы и не против (точнее только «за»), но ожидаемо столкнулись с последствиями. С чем и разбирались весь апрель. Абсурда добавляло то, что решение некоторых проблем требовало выполнения объема работ от других команд экосистемы. Из-за этого мы постоянно находились в подвешенном состоянии ожидания.

В конце 2023 на одной из АМА сессий мы заявили, что собираемся провести 200 запусков на нашей площадке за год. И тогда все подумали, что мы шутим 🙂
Не прошло и полугода, как мы запустили 220 жетонов и несколько десятков NFT-лаунчей, а общий рейз составляет более 5.2 миллионов TON.

Посещаемость сайта tonraffles.app за последние 30 дней — 1.7 миллиона уникальных посетителей.

Для сравнения: посещаемость ТОП-1 лаунчпад площадки в мире за квартал (за 3 месяца) составляет 1.2 миллиона пользователей. То есть наша площадка уже сейчас сталкивается с проблемами и требует лучших решений, лучших серверов и поддержки, чем ТОП-1 лаунчпад на всех других блокчейнах.

Такой рост количества пользователей не мог не отразиться на работе нашего сервиса и тех провайдеров данных, которые мы используем.

В апреле наша команда была полностью погружена в оптимизацию и рефакторинг платформы Ton Raffles, что объясняет снижение маркетинговой активности в этот период.

Мы пополнили штат несколькими специалистами и внесли значительные изменения для улучшения работы платформы:

Оптимизация кода. Практически каждый раздел платформы обновлен (или будет обновлен), чтобы адаптироваться к возросшему количеству пользователей. Некоторые разделы ожидают глобальные изменения.
Обновление технологий. Внедрение новых технологий, которые существенно улучшают общую производительность платформы.
Обновление ВСЕХ смарт-контрактов. После того как валидаторы проголосовали за снижение сетевых комиссий, случился очередной «кейс». Теперь перед нами стоит задача интеграции функции управления газом абсолютно в каждый смарт-контракт, чтобы оперативно предоставлять вам лучшие комиссии при очередном голосовании валидаторов за смену комиссий.
Разработка новых сервисов и микро-сервисов. Например, создание сервиса для кэширования метаданных и разработка интеллектуального прокси-сервиса, который проверяет статус и оптимизирует выбор провайдера данных. Здесь наша задача стоит в том, чтобы обеспечить каждого пользователя корректной информацией из блокчейна максимально быстро.
