But the reality is we live in a system that keeps the majority of us stuck in this nine to five hamster wheel.

And this is like getting into the weeds of blogging the right way and that is with the keyword monetization phase. So this is where we learn keyword research on a deep level and how to do it step by step. So we'll do competitor analysis.

You'll learn how to get your first keywords exactly right so you can start ranking your content content immediately. And at the end of this module, really, we want you to be able to look at any keyword in a tool like Hrefs or even on a Google search and say yes or no at a moment's notice to know if it's a good opportunity or a bad opportunity. After that, we get into blog content creation. So this is the content assembly line, the Startup Content Blueprint, how to structure things, your minimum viable posts or MVPs. Next we get into link building. I created my website a few years ago and I brought there in Finnish language at first, but after doing it that for some time I realized that Finland is too small market. Will Napolini: Laying The Groundwork

Now in this video, I'm going to be talking about laying the groundwork. So at this stage you've already generated some leads. You might have some scheduled strategy sessions or appointments for people that you're going to be calling or yeah, you might just have ten to 20 leads that you just need to start calling on and start speaking to these prospects.

Now, really what I found is the best way to kind of approach your day and structure it all up is that you spend from 09:00 A.m. In the morning to 01:00 P.m. In the afternoon doing your sales activities and doing your sales calls and that's so you've got that time blocked out and you can start to gain some momentum and start to gain some rhythm in kind of your sales process and building confidence about yourself.

And what it's really important to note is that you want to get into the right state for breaking into that kind of block of activity and making all of those sales calls. And the best way to do that is you just basically just want to reset your state that you're in and get to what I call level ten. And the best way to do that is to get the blood flowing right, to jump up and down, to do some push ups, to do some body weight squats, whatever it is that kind of gets your heart rate going and kind of just wakes you up and gets you prepared for this call.

And you really want to push aside anything that's going on in your personal life. You don't want to drag anything into those calls. You might have just got off a bad call before that and you don't want to let that affect you in the next call that you're making.

So it's really important that you take a few moments, do some deep breathing, do some star jumps, do whatever it is that you need to do to kind of reset yourself and then get into the right state. Anchor that into yourself and really feel positive about jumping on this call and wipe out anything else that has gone on or that is going on in your life at that stage. And then once you've done that, you want to prepare for this call.

And the best way to do that is to, first of all, make sure that you're in a quiet room that is free from distractions, doesn't have other people talking, or that's too minimal and you want to close down. Your computer, or if you really do need your computer, you want to close your inbox, your email, all the other tabs that are kind of like vying for your attention and that will ultimately be a distraction in an ideal situation. You don't want to have your computer on, you want to have a hands free headset where you can make calls and your hands are free to kind of take notes throughout that call.

So you're not distracted. You might be thinking, yeah, I'm really good at multitasking. I can check text messages when I'm on the call to people, they hear that.

They hear that in the calls, and they just won't be on the money. They won't be sharp. It will feel like that you're not even listening to what they're saying.

So it's really important that you do that. Kind of block out that time, get prepared, free yourself of all distractions and anything that's going to kind of take you away from being in the state that you need to be in. So really what you want to think about is how can you create that environment for you to make those calls? And it may not be the environment that you work in all the time.

It may be just where you make your sales calls from. It may be the certain things that you're going to do to get you set up for those calls. But really what I want you to do is think about that, start to plan for, okay, this is what time of day I'm going to be making my sales calls in.

This is what days of the week that I want to be doing that in and really kind of start to piece together what that looks like for you and come up with a plan, plan of how you're going to be approaching your week and when you're going to be making those sales calls. So go ahead and do that now, and I'll see you in the next video.

Will Napolini: Train To Be Great

Hey guys. Subri subi here. And in this video, I want to talk about training to be great.

Now, you know, in business and in sales, I like to draw a lot of inspiration from professional athletes. And the reason why is if you look at these, the Kobe's and the LeBron's and all these kind of really A level athletes, a lot of their success comes down to really two things and that's really mindset and their work ethic. And what do these guys do? They're earning hundreds of millions of dollars.

They're winning championships. They're at the very pinnacle and the top of their arena and of their sport. And what are they doing? Are they resting on their laurels and just thinking, like, man, I put a lot of work in in my career.

Now it's time to kind of coast because I'm the best in the world. And it's actually quite the opposite. These guys have absolutely sickening work ethic.

They're often and always generally the hardest workers on their team. It's not about natural talent. It's really about training to be great.

And these are the guys that are kind of first in the gym and last one out. There's all kinds of stories about people calling up Kobe at 03:00 in the morning and he's in the gym shooting three pointers and that's even once he's won championships or it's Michael Jordan or any of these guys, they just have like a crazy, crazy work ethic. And they just go over the fundamentals and drill them in and drill them in and drill them in.

And really what that boils down to is that successful people are willing to do all the things that unsuccessful people aren't willing to do. And all the tools and strategies and tactics that I'm going to be giving you in this course are going to require a lot of work. And the way that I want you to go about doing this work is like a professional athlete.

I want you to schedule time in with yourself to train. I'm talking about going through the sales script, going through all the objection handling that I'm going to be giving to you and just being really over the top repetitive with it. Just going over it and drilling it every morning and doing role plays and visualizing not only all your sales calls, but then role playing all the possible objections along the way that you're going to be going to and what's going to happen is you're going to see some success and you're going to be like, awesome.

This is working really great. I've kind of got this under control now. I can move on to the next thing.

And I urge you not to do that. This is one of those areas in business and in life that is incredibly important and has so much powerful impact outside of you just selling and outside of business, it really spills into all the other areas of your life. Because sales, when you boil it down, is just having the ability to kind of coherently communicate in a very articulate fashion.

And that's really what you want to focus on, because this will serve you for the rest of your life. So just to recap, what I'm talking about in this video is just that training, that having that mentality of really training this, going through the process. Even when it gets tired and boring, keep going it through and mastering this thing, and it will serve you.

Will Napolini: The Kings Activity & Audit

So now that I've really stressed the importance of sales, and as the founder of the business, you know, your number one job is really to be the best and most effective salesperson in your organization. What I want you to do now is I want you to do an audit of all the different activities that you do within a given day for your business. So that might be checking emails, replying to customer service emails, running errands, writing up purchase orders, motivating team members, screening new employees, whatever it may be.

I want you to kind of go away and do an audit of that with the PDF report that we've supplied in the action items of this video. And really what that will allow you to do is just to kind of get like a bird's eye perspective of what you're currently spending your time on and where your energy is going. So once you've written all of those down, then what I want you to do is I want you to circle the items that are basically responsible for bringing in revenue and that are responsible for bringing in sales for your business.

So, essentially, what we're doing right now is an 80 20 analysis using Paredo's Principle, which basically shows that 80% of the outputs are derived from 20% of the inputs. Or in other words, 80% of all the results that you get in your business and all the sales that you get are basically coming from just 20% of the activities that you're doing. So in this exercise, that's all we're trying to do is just identify what are those things that are moving the needle and actually bringing in sales for your business, and then you want to essentially eliminate or delegate everything else.

All that grunt work. It might be checking emails or all the errands that you're doing in your business that aren't actually bringing in sales. That's what you want to hire people to do, and that's really what you want to delegate, right? So that means that you, as the founder, are focused on the most highly leveraged activities that you can do, which is to grow the sales of your company.

Will Napolini: Getting Sold

Hey guys. Subri subi here. And in this video I'm going to really be diving into the topic of getting sold and the whole psychology around sales.

Now, what I see out there is that people are always looking for kind of like that silver bullet or that secret closing strategy that they can just whisper into their prospect's ear and have them buy with zero resistance. And that really isn't the case. Success really boils down to it's 20% mechanics and strategies and knowing what to say and what to do.

And it's 80% about mindset. However, most people don't focus on mindset. And the best thing that I have found to really kind of get you in peak state and get you fully sold in what you're doing every day, right? You're going to be waking up every day and you're going to be going out there into the marketplace and you're going to be trying to make transactions happen.

You're going to be communicating value and trying to get people to buy into that value that you're selling and convert them into a client. And in order for you to do that, you need to have conviction. And the way that you do that is by getting sold on the value that you provide before you go and try and kind of get other people sold on that.

So the very step in that process is first to get on purpose. And the best way that I have found to do that is to create a vision board. And a vision board should include all the things that really motivate you.

I find that it's typically best to be a combination of material things and also family and loved ones. You know what I mean? It might be pictures of your wife or your husband and your children or your spouse or whoever it might be. It might be your parents, it might be a sibling.

And then you want to think about what are the other things. It might be a holiday or a dream home or you might want to send your children to private school. Whatever it might be, you want to visually represent those on a vision board and you want to print it out and you want to put it as the first thing that you look at in the morning.

Me personally, I have mine laminated and I have it in the shower and I look at it every day and that just gets me on purpose. If I wake up and I'm feeling a little bit low energy, I'm not really in the zone, I look at that and then I know why. The reason is that I'm waking up at 04:00 a.m.

Every morning and it just gets me on purpose and gets me fully sold on what I'm doing and why I am doing it. And then the next thing that you want to really look at is your value proposition. What is it that you are actually doing for your clients? What are you selling? Get fundamentally sold that what you're asking for in terms of the money is a pittance to the value that you really provide to that and really get sold that you are the best provider, you are the best person to help them solve this problem that they're looking for.

And if you don't feel that you need to go out there and change what it is that you're selling so you're 100% confident that it is the best product or it is the best service for your marketplace and for your clients. Now, the next thing I really want to talk about is making this incredibly powerful shift to full ownership. Okay? Now, sales is incredibly difficult.

I'm not going to sugarcoat this. It is a very difficult task. That's why salespeople are the highest paid people on the planet because you're going to be facing a lot of adversity day to day.

The majority of people that you speak to are going to say no to you. And that's just kind of a fact that you have to be comfortable with and know that every no gets you closer to a yes. So it's a highly, highly rewarding and very lucrative career and it's really kind of the tip of the spear when it comes to business.

And it is something that is going to be challenging and I just want to fully just make that very, very clear. But the thing that I have found that really makes people the most successful is taking full ownership. So what do I mean by that? Well, what I mean is that when things aren't working the way that you want them to and this will eventually happen and it will go in kind of peaks and troughs throughout your selling career or throughout your business life.

People generally look to other things to blame for their lack of success, or the leads aren't good quality, or the people that I'm speaking to, they just don't have any money. Or all of my competitors are just pulling their pants down on price and they're just racing to the bottom that is looking for something else other than yourself to blame for the situation that you're in. And that is not a winning mindset because it creates a negative feedback loop and it's just like a downward spiral that sucks you in and it doesn't empower you.

Instead, what I want you to do is really have the full ownership and fully understand that all the successes that you're going to have are because of you. And all the failures that you're going to have and all the tests along the way are also going to be because of you. And I just want you to wear that and fully look to ways that you can kind of overcome hurdles along the way.

And my business, it works because of me, the leads work because of me and my team works because of me. And when things fuck up along the way, as they all do, that is also for me. It's not a team member, it's not the leads, it's not Facebook or Google or anything like that.

It all comes down to me and I take full ownership of that. And once you do that, it's a very empowering state to operate from and it leaves you in a way that you're looking for solutions rather than problems and things to blame. Everything that I teach you in this course is not going to be about like some secret closing strategy or some secret tool to use to kind of close more people.

It's all about you. It's about forging you. It's about giving you the mindset and the stamina and the wherewithal to be able to go out there in the marketplace and face an incredible amount of adversity and still push through and still see success.

And sure, I'm going to be giving you my eight figure samurai sword sales script and really dialing in showing you exactly how to apply that. But the big takeaway, as I said before, success is 80% mindset and 20% mechanics. And I really want you to kind of embody all of these principles and everything that I'm going to be talking to you about in this course and take it on board and forge you a new you to kind of go out there and get all the success that you're really fighting for and to kind of break that down.

We're talking about full accountability and taking all that responsibility on yourself and all of the strategies are going to require you taking a massive amount of action, right? Nothing happens until you make some movement, right? And it's about really kind of taking ten X level activity towards all these tasks and really putting the systems to work in order for them to provide fruit for what it is that you are doing. So the action item for this video is I want you to take some time and really kind of put together and compile your vision board. Don't just rush this, actually stop and think about it.

This is an incredibly powerful and important part of this process. Take an hour, 2 hours, block out half a day, do whatever you need to do. It might be a mixture of quotes and images and family pictures and material assets that you're striving for, but get them together, put them on like an a four sheet of paper and really think about what is it that you're going to basically be motivated for and these things will change over time.

You want to kind of recreate these vision boards when it gets tired and you attain those goals. But I want you to take the time, go in there, just put it together in Keynote or just in a basic kind of pitcher editor and then print it out and laminate it and put it somewhere in your home that it's the first thing that you look at every day. In this video, I'm going to be talking to you about the sales mindset. And really what I see, you know, that's really prevalent out there in business owners is that they don't look at themselves as salespeople. You know, they may be really strong at operations or they might be really analytical and they kind of just say like, oh, I'm not a salesperson.

And what you really need to understand is that every single person is in sales, whether you like it or not. Do you know what I mean? Basically being an effective salesperson is essentially having the ability to effectively communicate in a cohesive manner. So whether that's you're in a relationship and you want to go away on holiday or you want to go out to a certain restaurant to eat, that is basically a sales environment.

Or if you work within a company and you've got people that are on your team, you're going to need to sell your ideas and get them to buy in. So really having this sales mindset is really such an important tool and it's such an important aspect for you to really start to kind of identify with yourself as being a salesperson and to fully understand that it's importance in your business. As the founder of a business or as a sales manager.

There is nothing that is more important than the ability to be able to sell. And you really need to kind of get all in on this and really understand that it doesn't have to be that kind of negative stigma around it about being like a sleazy car salesman or anything like that, right? It's really just about what you need to think of is that no value is created until a transaction is made. So you might be super proud of the services that you offer, but the reality of it is that nothing happens until something is sold.

So if you can't effectively communicate your value proposition and more importantly, if you can't get people to commit and actually take action and follow through and pull the trigger on making an investment to basically hire you for your services, then nothing else matters. It doesn't matter how good your ads are or how good your products and services are, you're not actually selling them. And if you don't have the ability to do that in a really effective manner, then all of that is just wasted.

And so what you really want to do is just understand that this is a serious thing that you really need to commit to and really go all in to Master. And you really need to start looking at yourself as a salesperson and gearing your company to being a sales geared organization and having that as the tip of the spear, right? So I always say that sales trumps all. If you've got the sales component really dialed in to your business and you're successful at doing that, there's really no problem that you can't go out there and solve.

If you've got more sales coming in, that means that you can hire the best talent, the best people to come and work for you and you can afford to pay them, because you have the ability to sell. And a really important distinction to make is that while you might be the founder right now, and you might be doing the one to one selling, or you might have a team of salespeople, and they're the ones that are doing the sale. I'm saying that you, as the founder of the business, you need to be the best salesperson that is in your company.

And that doesn't mean that you're going to be on the phone actually closing clients and bringing in money and things like that. No, it just means that you have the ability to do that. And also you understand all the different things that have to happen in order to be able to get new clients and to be able to effectively communicate what your value is to the marketplace.

So, whether you're doing the selling or if you have a sales team, this whole course is really going to just benefit the way that you think about things and the way that you approach them. So if you're off the tools and you're not doing the selling, you're still going to get a ton of value from this. Because ultimately, you're going to need to be motivating your team, motivating your sales team, motivating your staff, and really effectively selling your company for people to want to come and work there, for prospects to want to come and work with you.

And it's really an important distinction to really think about how do you gear your company to be really sales focused. And so everyone within your company understands what a vitally important part this is. This is the oxygen to a business.

If you don't have sales, nothing else matters. So if you've got any negative connotations or associations towards being a salesperson, I really kind of invite you just to get rid of those and to understand that you don't need to be a used car sleazy salesperson to basically sell in the 21st century. It is not about that.

It's about educating, it's about providing value. And it's really about understanding that nothing happens in your business until something is sold. So the action item for this video is for you just to go away and kind of think about what being a salesperson means to you.
