These damned devices also have the courage to be able to process data, connect to the internet permanently or intermittently, send and receive emails, edit and save images, interact with social networks and as if that were not enough, play some types of multimedia files (Note special: when talking about multimedia it is not precisely the use of many media at the same time, the term really refers to the use of multiple media such as text, audio, image, video among others).

Up to this point, nothing has been said that a common wild computer cannot do, but imagine that it does all of this with a device that is usually small enough to fit in a pocket or in the case of tablets (tablets in English) with screen sizes less than 10 inches and weights less than 1 KG. There is still more, these mobiles have the ability to turn on immediately (when the user clicks the turn on button), so that users will not be in the painful situation of waiting for the operating system to load (Windows or MAC OS), being able to start using the functions in less than 5 seconds. Not everything can be perfect, for this reason, some of the limitations of mobile devices should be detailed:

The small capacity of its internal and external memories, compared to the large memory of several Terabytes that desktop, laptop and / or server computers can support (1 TB = 1 Gigabytes and 1 GB = 1000 Megabytes). The difficulty of connecting peripheral or external devices such as: hard drives, keyboards, mice, hubs and other gadgets that have a USB connection, which need a special driver or driver (a small program used to translate actions of the user into something that the gadget can interpret) that is usually not compatible with most mobile operating systems.
The vast majority tend to connect to cellular networks (with data transmission standards of the type: Edge, 2.5G, 3G, 3.5G or 4G) and / or wireless (Wifi in English) and therefore do not have the capacity to connect in a wired way or as it is traditionally said by cable (RJ45 or network cable, which is responsible for bringing the data to your desktop or laptop computer). This is a disadvantage when geography and / or infrastructure do not allow wireless networks, the devices are totally isolated.
