Новый французский линкор — прямой приглашение вернуться к классике эпохи больших орудий. При этом его проект не ограничен только лишь ретро-подходом: современная ПВО и многоцелевые гранатомёты сделали встречу один на один с этим кораблём смертельно опасной даже для современных крейсеров и эсминцев.

Игровой процесс корабля ориентирован на бой в первой линии. Высокий запас прочности, надёжные средства ПВО и четыре мощных орудия позволяют вести эффективные атаки: синхронный залп орудий в сочетании с огнём гранатомётов наносит такой урон, что противнику остаётся лишь пытаться уйти за укрытие и срочно чиниться — если повезёт. Эффективны и рейдовые манёвры по флангам, с ведением боя на средней дистанции, когда требуется уметь выбирать момент для реализации того или иного типа вооружения. Стрелять на дальние дистанции имеет смысл только тем, кто уверенно оценивает дистанцию и обладает опытом артиллерийской стрельбы — без этого точность сведётся к нулю.

FS Super Alsace прекрасно подойдёт поклонникам «классической» школы линкоров: тем, кто любит слышать громовой раскат орудий и чувствовать всю мощь артиллерийского залпа. Одновременно корабль остаётся гибким инструментом — он требует от игрока либо мастерства одиночных дуэлей, либо грамотной координации в составе отряда. Это не музейный экспонат, ржавеющий в порту, а носитель серьёзной боевой силы, который приходит чтобы быстро и эффективно решать задачи на поле боя.

The ship’s gameplay is focused on front-line combat. With high durability, dependable air defenses, and four heavy guns, it excels in direct engagements. Coordinated salvos from the main battery and ASROCs can unleash such devastating damage that enemies are forced to retreat and repair — if they survive. Flanking maneuvers on medium ranges are also effective, rewarding players who can time their weapon usage correctly. Long-range fire, however, is best reserved for experienced gunners who can accurately gauge distance — without that, precision drops sharply.

Characteristic features in combat

Pros:

1. Excellent handling and mobility: the frigate is maneuverable and can perform a wide range of tasks — from sudden flanking attacks to rapid repositioning when the situation deteriorates.
2. Concentrated forward artillery: both gun mounts are placed parallel in the forward half of the ship, increasing accuracy and effectiveness against targets in the forward hemisphere.
3. High survivability: a combination of automated systems provides protection against air, surface and subsurface threats.

Cons:

1. The arsenal consists only of missile batteries and guns. The notable absence of slots for anti-submarine means (such as ASW grenade launchers or torpedoes) limits anti-submarine capabilities and reduces flexibility when choosing a configuration.

The new French frigate clearly demonstrates that high survivability and maneuverability can be harmoniously combined in a single hull. Thanks to a wide array of multi-purpose automatic cannons and layered air-defence measures — both short- and long-range — the ship can withstand significantly denser massed attacks compared with its class peers, often matching destroyers and even some cruisers in resilience to incoming fire.

Play tactics for this ship most often boil down to active flanking manoeuvres, where speed allows seizing the initiative, or to operating in the thick of battle — shoulder to shoulder with destroyers and cruisers, supporting them with fire and cover. It is important to remember, however, that despite solid protection and excellent mobility, the ship’s Achilles’ heel remains a not-very-diverse offensive suite — missile batteries and main-calibre guns. Two sensible outfitting concepts follow from this: either fit weapons with fast reloads to overwhelm enemy defences with numerous simultaneous threats, or, conversely, assemble a heavier but slower-reloading loadout and fight from longer ranges — in calmer conditions where aimed gunfire has a higher chance of success and missiles can reach full speed and are more likely to penetrate the enemy’s air-defence umbrella.

FS Forbin will be an excellent acquisition for commanders who value a blend of maneuverability and thoughtful, tactically measured gameplay. New players will also find this unique ship appealing: the advanced multi-layered defensive complex aboard often forgives mistakes and offers an opportunity to recover during battle, turning each engagement into a clear lesson in sound management and timing of strikes.

Благодаря широкому набору многоцелевых автоматических пушек и эшелонированным средствам ПВО — как ближнего, так и дальнего рубежей — корабль способен выдерживать существенно более плотные массированные атаки по сравнению с одноклассниками, нередко становясь по устойчивости к огневому воздействию наравне с эсминцами и даже некоторыми крейсерами.

Тактика игры на этом корабле чаще всего сводится к активным фланговым манёврам, где скорость позволяет перехватывать инициативу, либо к работе в самой гуще сражения — плечом к плечу с эсминцами и крейсерами, поддерживая их огнём и прикрытием. При этом важно помнить: несмотря на солидную защищённость и отличную мобильность, ахиллесовой пятой остаётся не самый разнообразный арсенал ударных средств — ракетные батареи и орудия главного калибра. Отсюда вытекают две разумные концепции оснащения: либо ставить вооружение с быстрой перезарядкой, перегружая системы обороны противника количеством одновременных угроз, либо, напротив, собирать более тяжёлый, но медленно перезаряжаемый арсенал и вести бой с большой дистанции — в более спокойных условиях, где выше шансы на прицельную стрельбу из орудий, а ракеты успеют набрать максимальную скорость и с большей вероятностью пройдут сквозь купол ПВО врага.

FS Forbin станет отличным приобретением для командиров, ценящих сочетание манёвренности и вдумчивого, тактически выверенного геймплея. Новичкам этот уникальный корабль тоже придётся по вкусу: развитый многоуровневый комплекс обороны на борту нередко прощает ошибки и даёт шанс исправить положение прямо по ходу боя, превращая каждую схватку в наглядный урок грамотного управления и выбора момента для удара.

The only unique model is the Barak-8ERN air defense system, the main advantages of which are good burst damage and fast reload. The S-70BM Sledopit is a Russian heavy attack drone built using the "flying wing" scheme. The design uses low-visibility coatings, as well as composite materials and a new power plant. The drone is equipped with high-quality avionics and is ready to perform both independent missions and be a "wingman" for a group of allied aircraft. The machine's arsenal opens with a long-range hypersonic missile with a nuclear warhead Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (Nuke), which is capable of accurately hitting any priority surface targets, inflicting impressive damage. The arsenal is completed by the universal half-ton bomb FAB-500UMPK, which is equipped with a gliding module that allows the drone to drop the bomb from a safe height without entering dangerous areas.

RAH-66B Sea Comanche helicopter

T3, available in the VIP Battle Pass.

Features:

An anti-submarine variant of the US Army's LHX program attack helicopter. It uses stealth technology, as well as modern navigation systems, and has excellent maneuverability. The highlight of the helicopter is its extensive multirole arsenal. It starts with a high-precision multipurpose XM301B machine gun (20 mm), which can engage surface and aerial targets at medium ranges. It is followed by multipurpose aircraft missiles for medium ranges SPEAR-EW, which can overload enemy air defenses. If you need to get closer, the arsenal will include a block of LAU-150ER anti-ship missiles. Finally, to strengthen the attack, there are special medium-range aircraft torpedoes VLWT-ERB, which can hit surface and underwater targets.

Pan Spatial RAMSTORM 4 UEV

T3, available in the VIP Battle Pass.

Features:

An experimental unmanned explosive vessel. Due to its enlarged hull, it carries both an extended active contact munition and an additional set of RIM-161B multipurpose missiles, which can be used both as a defensive means on the way to the target and as an additional offensive weapon. The UEV's hull is reinforced and can withstand more damage until the very powerful self-initiating RAMSTORM 4 REC explosive device can be utilized. In any case, underestimating the capabilities of this unmanned vessel will be the enemy's last mistake.

Features:

A German automatic grenade launcher capable of engaging surface and underwater targets at medium ranges. It has good accuracy and a fairly quick reload. It fires multiple shots in each salvo.

S-70BM Sledopit - российский тяжёлый ударный беспилотник, построенный по схеме «летающее крыло». В конструкции используются малозаметные покрытия, а также композитные материалы и новая силовая установка. Дрон оборудован качественной авионикой и готов выполнять как самостоятельные миссии, так и быть "напарником" для группы союзных самолётов. Арсенал машины открывается гиперзвуковой ракетой большой дальности с ядерной боевой частью Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (Ядерная БЧ), которая способна точно поражать любые приоритетные надводные цели, нанося им впечатляющий урон. К ним в пару идут многоцелевые ракеты средней дальности Kh-39B, которые предназначаются для уничтожения вражеской авиации или же поражения надводных целей; они также могут использоваться в качестве перегружающего элемента для вражеских систем ПВО. Завершается арсенал универсальной полутонной бомбой FAB-500UMPK, которая оснащена модулем планирования, позволяющим дрону сбрасывать бомбу с безопасной высоты, не заходя в опасные зоны.

Экспериментальный беспилотный детонирующий корабль. Благодаря увеличенному корпусу несёт на себе как увеличенный активный боеприпас контактного действия, так и дополнительный набор многоцелевых ракет RIM-161B, которые могут использоваться как в качестве защитного средства по пути к цели, так и в качестве дополнительного атакующего вооружения.
