The primary way to acquire these resources is by freezing your TRX. When you freeze your TRX, you receive a proportional amount of Bandwidth and Energy based on the number of tokens frozen and the duration of the freeze.

Detailed Guide to Freezing TRX Using the TronLink Wallet

By default, users are allocated 600 Bandwidth units per day. This is typically sufficient for approximately two transactions. If the Bandwidth limit is exceeded, transaction fees will automatically be deducted from the main TRX balance in the wallet.

Unlike Bandwidth, Energy does not have a daily limit. To perform operations that require Energy (e.g., interacting with smart contracts), users must either:

1. Freeze a portion of their TRX to generate Energy, or

Enter the desired amount of TRX to freeze. The system will automatically calculate and display the approximate number of free transactions. Click the "Stake" button to view the transaction details.

In the opened section, check all the transaction details and sign the transaction by clicking the "Confirm" button.

Enter the password for your wallet.

When deciding to unstake your TRX, keep in mind that access to your funds will be restored only 14 days after the request is submitted. During this period, the frozen coins will be unavailable for any transactions.

Buying TRX on Bybit

To start buying TRX, you will need an account on the Bybit exchange. Let’s look at the process using the mobile app.

Open the Bybit app on your device and use the search function.

In the opened section, enter the ticker «TRX» in the search bar and select the first suggested option — TRX/USDT, if you plan to purchase using USDT.

The trading terminal for the TRX/USDT pair will open. Click the «Buy» button.

The order form section has opened:

1. In the first field, select the order type — «Market»;
2. In the second field, specify the amount of TRX to purchase;

You can check your balance in the «Assets» section by switching to the «Unified Trading» account.

According to Bybit's rules, withdrawals can only be made from the funding account. The TRX coins you previously purchased on the exchange are, by default, stored in the unified trading account.

To withdraw funds, you need to transfer the TRX from the trading account to the funding account. Only after this will you be able to withdraw the funds to an external wallet or another address.

Open the Bybit mobile app, go to the «Assets» section, and click the «Transfer» button.

A form for submitting a transfer request between accounts has opened. Please follow the instructions:

1. In the first field, select the source of funds from which the transfer will be made. In this case, it is the unified trading account.
2. In the second field, specify the destination account. For further withdrawals, you need to choose the funding account.
3. In the third section, select the asset you want to transfer. In this case, it is the TRX coin.
4. In the fourth field, specify the amount of TRX coins you want to transfer. Make sure the amount matches your balance.

After filling in all the fields, click the «Confirm» button to complete the transfer process.

Now, your TRX coins will be successfully moved to the funding account, and you will be able to use them for withdrawals.

Now, let's move on to the process of withdrawing funds from the exchange to other wallets or addresses. In our case, it will be the transfer of coins to the TronLink crypto wallet.

Open the Bybit mobile app, go to the «Assets» section, and click the «Withdraw» button.

Select the withdrawal coin - TRX.

Buying TRX on Binance

To start buying TRX coins, you will need an account on the Binance exchange. Let's explore the option of purchasing through the mobile app.

Open the Binance app on your device and use the search function:

In the opened section, enter the ticker «TRX» in the search bar and select the first suggested option — TRX/USDT, if you plan to buy with USDT.

The trading terminal for the TRX/USDT pair will open. Tap the «Buy» button.

The order placement section will open:

1. In the first field, select the order type — «Market»;
2. In the second field, enter the purchase amount of TRX;
3. Tap the «Buy TRX» button.

That's it!

Great! You have successfully purchased the TRX coin!
You can check your balance in the «Wallet» section by switching to the «Spot» tab at the top of the screen.

Open the Binance mobile app, go to the «Wallet» section, and tap the «Withdraw» button.

In the window that appears, select the TRX asset.

Select the method for sending funds — in our case, it's the first option: «Send via crypto network.»

Fill out the withdrawal request:

1. In the first field, enter the TronLink wallet address;
   (To do this, open TronLink, tap Receive, copy the address using the Share button or the copy icon. Then paste this address into the appropriate field in the withdrawal request) - instructions.
2. In the second field, select the network for withdrawal — Tron (TRC20);
3. In the third field, enter the amount to withdraw.

Everything is almost ready, just confirm the order!

Open the TronLink mobile app and copy the address at the top of the screen by tapping the copy button.

You can also find your address or QR code for transfers in the Receive section. Paste this address into the appropriate field in the withdrawal request.

After filling out all sections of the withdrawal request, tap the «Withdraw» button. Check the accuracy of the entered data, then tap the «Confirm» button. Complete the transaction by entering your password or using biometric authentication.

Проверить баланс можно в разделе «Кошелек», переключившись на вкладку «Спотовый» в верхней части экрана

Откройте мобильное приложение Binance, перейдите в раздел «Кошелек» и нажмите кнопку «Вывод».

В появившемся окне выберите актив TRX.

Укажите способ отправки средств — в нашем случае это первый вариант: «Отправить через крипто-сеть».

Заполняем заявку на вывод средств:

1. В первом поле указываем адрес TronLink кошелька;
   (Для этого открываем TronLink, нажимаем Receive, копируем адрес через кнопку Share или значок копирования. Затем вставьте этот адрес в соответствующее поле заявки на вывод средств) - инструкция
2. Во втором поле выбираем сеть для вывода — Tron (TRC20);
3. В третьем поле вводим сумму для вывода;

Все почти готово, осталось только подтвердить ордер!

Откройте мобильное приложение TronLink и скопируйте адрес в верхней части экрана, нажав на кнопку копирования.

Узнать свой адрес или QR-код для перевода можно также в разделе Receive). Вставьте этот адрес в соответствующее поле заявки на вывод средств.

После заполнения всех разделов заявки на вывод нажмите кнопку «Вывод средств». Проверьте правильность введенных данных, затем нажмите кнопку «Подтвердить». Завершите операцию, введя пароль или используя биометрические данные.
