June, July and August were the months of growth — in partnerships, in users, in functionality, and in meaning.

From major product upgrades to new chats, from deeper integration into Telegram-native DeFi to reputation mechanics woven into everyday conversations. REP has evolved far beyond a leaderboard.

Let’s look back at everything that happened.

June

Torch and TeFi Alliance Partnership

REP partnered up with Torch to support the Alliance - and to help bringing adoption to tgUSD the first Telegram Native yield-bearing stablecoin. +REP for participation!

Top 20,000 TON users by REP were invited to participate in the Phase 2 of TAC genesis SBT launch — together with other OG Web3 communities like Pudgy Penguins, Bored Apes, Punks and other crypto legends.

REP Guide to Telegram Gifts released

Almost three months have passed since we published our comprehensive research on one of the most hyped topics in TON — and it’s still highly relevant!

Whether you’re a TON OG or a newcomer to the ecosystem, you’ll find plenty of valuable insights and information. Check it out!

+REP for Onchain Gifts

Since June 18, we’ve included on-chain gift data in calculating your REP — and introduced unique achievements along the way. Spoiler alert: on-chain gifts are just the beginning!

July

REP AMA with REP's Head of Growth

We opened the month with a live text AMA featuring Danny, REP’s Head of Growth, in the TON 0.5% chat. The session helped clarify the bigger picture behind REP — and preview what’s coming next.

The conversation explored REP’s core idea: a cross-platform reputation layer for Web3 that reflects not just onchain data, but social context and relationships. Unlike traditional scores or rankings, REP aims to be portable across ecosystems — so that your reputation in TON can unlock access and benefits elsewhere.

The AMA also touched on REP’s use cases: both B2C (personal identity, curation, social graphs) and B2B, helping projects identify high-quality users with verifiable onchain and social impact. Builders, power users, influencers — REP makes them easier to discover.

We also introduced a new feature in REP chats: ➕/➖ emoji reactions, which allow users to signal trust or disagreement. These reactions affect Social REP inside the chat and will soon sync with your broader onchain reputation — turning chats into meaningful social filters.

Finally, Danny shared a glimpse of the roadmap: the new website is coming soon, along with real-time DeFi and social data achievements, more integrations, and ongoing refinement of the leaderboards — which, as Danny noted, are evolving from a REP ranking into a reflection of the TON ecosystem itself.

REP stage two released

The biggest update since March. REP's mini-app became a full-fledged identity layer: with one interface, four leaderboards, and your full persona in one place.

What we added:

New Home Screen: Quick access to Profile, Achievements, Leaderboards, and Social REP

Profile 2.0: Telegram avatar, rank, REP, referrals, achievements, leaderboard positions

Achievements: Claim, collect, and share them. With more on the way

4 Leaderboards: Overall, Onchain, Social, and Gifts: for a multidimensional look at reputation

Social REP leaderboard: A new screen to grow and track your graph — and your influence

It wasn’t just a UI update. It was the beginning of REP becoming the layer where identity, trust, and reputation converge.

REP: Gifts chat opens

We launched one more cool REP chat, which is focused on Telegram Gifts.

This is more than a discussion group. It’s a network of traders, collectors, and early adopters whose wallets already carry the signal of participation. Have an onchain gift? You’re in.

Join the chat: REP: Gifts

REP × Bidask partnership

Another DeFi protocol joins the REP ecosystem.

Bidask is a CLMM-based DEX optimized for fast, scalable, and intuitive swaps on TON. We’re integrating with Bidask to track activity, reward meaningful interactions, and reflect DeFi participation in REP.

REP × tgBTC partnership

Bitcoin comes to TON. And REP comes with it. tgBTC, by Teleport, is the most accessible and decentralized Bitcoin bridge for the TON ecosystem. Now, your tgBTC activity contributes to your REP.

Soon, you'll see:

tgBTC achievements

REP boosts for using BTC inside Telegram-native DeFi

Bitcoin redefined trust with code. REP records it.

Before mini-apps, before DeFi, before even Gifts — there were TON Punks.

Now, Punk culture meets REP through District Clash, a GameFi competition where REP ranks determine your rewards.

The launch of TAC was one of the summer’s most significant events for the TON ecosystem, and we’re proud that our top REP users were invited to join the exclusive SBT mint alongside other leading projects and Web3 OG communities.

And, since early August, there is also an achievement for holding Trailblazer SBT! Also, a hint: there is more to come for REP-verified TAC SBT holders soon!

The brief history of Stickers

The idea behind collectible Telegram stickers first sparked public interest on April 19, 2024, when Pavel Durov, speaking at TOKEN2049, announced that stickers would soon be tokenized inside Telegram. While no exact launch date was shared, one key detail stood out: 95% of sticker revenue would go directly to artists.

That single promise has become the backbone of the current sticker economy. Even without official infrastructure in place, the community began building — and hasn’t stopped since.

The Sticker journey began on December 21, 2024, when the first version of the Sticker Market was launched. The hype was instant. In just the first week, over 135,000 sticker packs were sold.

Fast forward to April 8, 2025, the platform was rebranded from Sticker Store to Sticker Pack, marking the next step in product evolution. Just a day later, on April 9, the secondary market for stickers officially opened — but this wasn’t a built-in solution from Sticker Pack itself. Instead, the Sticker Pack team introduced verified links to trusted external marketplaces. The first verified platforms were PalaceNFT, MRKT, and Harbor Market (formerly known as IGLOO). Before that, the only available marketplace solution was developed by Mr. Freeman, but for various reasons, it is no longer operational.

On May 14, a historic sale took place — the CNY 2092 #1 sticker pack was sold for 1,500 TON, setting a new price record.

By June 20, the ecosystem hit its all-time high in daily trading volume, reaching $570,000 in a single day.

On June 30, the Sticker Pack began testing an exciting new feature for buying stickers, a raffle-based purchase system. During a launch period, users lock the TON equivalent of a sticker pack’s price anytime before the end of the sale and gain a chance to win the pack in a raffle.

Key rules:

Each account can win only one pack per launch.

If you don’t win, you get a 100% refund of your locked TON

Chances of winning depend on several factors, including:

Sticker ownership

Age of the Telegram account

Onchain wallet history

Subscriptions to social media

After the launch ends, supply is randomly distributed among participants who locked TON. The system is flexible — in future launches, more personalized criteria can be added, tailored to specific sales.

Between July 15 and July 18, four more high-profile deals took place — rewriting the sticker market leaderboard once again.

On July 15, Tyler Mode: On #1 was sold for 2,500 TON (~$7,465).

The next day, Tyler Mode: On #2 changed hands for 2,020 TON (~$6,423) — slightly below the previous day’s price, but still a major deal.

On July 18, a new all-time high was set: Gold Bone #9 sold for 3,000 TON (~$9,647), becoming the most expensive sticker pack at the time of writing.

Just a day later, on July 19, another Gold Bone pack — #8 — was sold for 2,500 TON (~$8,033), making it one of the top sales ever, although no longer the highest.

These transactions demonstrate one thing clearly: even in a market built by the community, collector interest and demand for rare Telegram stickers continue to grow — and the numbers speak for themselves.

Telegram Stickers: where we stand today

Unlike Telegram Gifts, which already feel like a mature and established product, Stickers are still in an early-stage phase. The Stickers market cap is nearly nine times smaller than that of Gifts — and that’s not without reason.

First, Stickers are not an official Telegram product. It remains unclear whether Telegram will eventually support them or if Pavel Durov plans to release his own “official” sticker solution. As a result, the current sticker pack ecosystem risks being overshadowed or rendered obsolete.

Second, everything depends on the community. From secondary marketplaces like PalaceNFT, Harbor, and MRKT, to private holder chats — it’s the users who keep the ecosystem alive. Despite the uncertainty, market participants clearly believe in Stickers. With a market cap of around $14 million at the time of writing, Stickers outperform nearly every token in the TON ecosystem — a strong signal of confidence.

And it’s not just the community getting involved. Some of the biggest Web3 brands have already launched sticker collections on Telegram: Pudgy Penguins, Doodles, Azuki, BabyDoge, Chimpers, Claynosaurz, BAYC, and others. For these projects, Telegram Stickers offer more than just a new revenue stream — they provide a unique way to run marketing campaigns, attract new users, and build visibility on one of the world’s largest messaging platforms.

So far, every single sticker drop from these major brands has been a success — selling out within minutes and generating not only impressive sales, but also major social buzz.

Beyond the rapid sell-outs, the secondary market has also seen some eye-catching deals.
The most expensive sticker trade to date happened on July 18, when a Gold Bone #9 sold for 3,000 TON (~$9,647) on PalaceNFT. Other high-profile sales include Tyler Mode #1 amd Tyler Mode #2: 2,500 and 2,020 TON respectively. Meanwhile, Not Cap sticker packs have consistently attracted attention, with numerous trades exceeding 700 TON.

Some sticker packs have delivered jaw-dropping returns for early buyers. For example, Not Cap packs initially sold for 9 999 stars, roughly $150. On the secondary market, some of those packs later changed hands for 1 000 TON, representing a 1 866% price increase, assuming TON price of $2.8. The most expensive sticker pack ever sold delivered an even more impressive return — a staggering 32x growth compared to its mint price.

Interestingly, some of the most successful sticker collections weren’t sold at all — they were distributed entirely for free. Among these are Tyler Mode, Gold/Silver Bone, and sticker packs from Notcoin. Despite having no initial price tag, these packs have since become some of the most valuable and sought-after in the entire ecosystem.

Today, Gold Bone and Tyler Mode consistently rank at the top of secondary market charts. Their floor prices are remarkably high — 1,500 TON and 250 TON respectively — showing that perceived value isn’t necessarily tied to how a collection is launched, but rather to its community appeal, rarity, and branding.

It’s also worth noting that, unlike Gifts, Stickers are not yet released onchain. There’s ongoing community discussion about that, which would unlock new liquidity and potentially spark the next wave of sales records. In fact, the Sticker Community recently polled users with the question: "Would you like to mint stickers onchain now, or better to wait for Telegram to start supporting unique stickers made by the community?". The majority voted in favor of minting now. However, since June 15, there have been no official updates on this front. If or when Stickers do go fully onchain, it could become a powerful catalyst for renewed investor interest, higher volumes, and potentially, new record-breaking sales.

To sum up: the interest in Stickers is clearly growing. Whether that momentum can be sustained will depend on one key factor: official recognition from Telegram.

Getting your first Sticker Pack

There are two ways to acquire a sticker pack:

Through the primary sale — i.e., you buy it straight in Sticker Pack TMA whenever there is a new drop.

Benefits: the sticker pack can be bought at the lowest price.

Downsides: need to act fast — the new drop can sell out in minutes, potentially even seconds.

Reminder: On June 30, the Sticker Pack began testing an exciting new feature for buying stickers, a raffle-based purchase system. After the launch ends, supply is randomly distributed among participants who locked TON for a raffle. For this reason, buying a sticker pack may depend on luck.

There’s still an option to buy previously released but unsold sticker packs directly in Sticker Pack — paid in Telegram Stars.

Through the secondary market — choose any marketplace and pick any sticker pack on sale.

Benefits: you can buy anytime, no rush or stress.

Downsides: the price is often significantly higher than in the primary sale.

Where Stickers are released

All new stickers are launched exclusively through this bot: @sticker_bot.

Unlike Gifts, every sticker drop is announced ahead of time in Telegram’s official channel.
To stay ahead of releases, follow these channels and bots:

Pro tip: Open the Sticker Bot 5–10 minutes before a drop and keep refreshing the homepage!

How to trade stickers on a secondary market:

- Once you're past the primary drop, you can still buy, sell, or trade stickers on the secondary market using the TON blockchain.

- Choose a marketplace

- Here are the most popular platforms, ranked by trading volume:

PalaceNFT

MRKT

Harbor

All of these platforms operate on TON — so you’ll need a wallet that supports TON to trade.

You can use Telegram’s native wallet (buy $TON with a bank card or Apple Pay), or connect third-party wallets like Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet, Tonhub, and others.

Are stickers the next growth catalyst for TON?

With over $10 million in primary sales and the $14,000,000 market cap, Telegram Stickers have rapidly evolved from an experimental idea into a powerful product that has attracted significant liquidity to the TON blockchain.

While the Sticker Pack is still early in its development, it has already captured significant attention from both the community and major Web3 brands. Projects like Pudgy Penguins, BAYC, Azuki, and Doodles have successfully used Sticker drops to engage with Telegram’s massive user base, boost brand visibility, and tap into new revenue streams — all while driving real on-chain activity.

Stickers are helping TON in several key ways:

User Onboarding: Sticker drops bring new users into the Telegram and TON ecosystem, often introducing them to wallets, tokens, and on-chain interactions for the first time.

Token Velocity: Every primary sale uses Stars, and secondary sales use $TON, creating consistent transactional demand across both assets.

Community Infrastructure: The rise of marketplaces like PalaceNFT and tools like Sticker Bot shows that an organic, user-driven economy is forming.

Brand Legitimacy: High-profile collaborations validate the Sticker Pack and position TON as a cultural hub for digital collectibles.

What’s remarkable is that all this growth is happening without official backing from Telegram. Imagine the potential if (or when) Telegram embraces Stickers as a formal product — it could unlock the next major wave of adoption and push TON even further into the spotlight.

In short, Stickers aren’t just a fun collectible — they may be TON’s most important growth engine to date.

Gifts or something else?

For the first look at the gifts, go to Telegram settings and scroll down to the “Send a Gift” option. You will see dozens of collections: Ginger Cookie, Kissed Frog, Crystal Ball and many others. Some are sold for 300 stars (Telegram in-app currency) and some are priced at 10,000 stars - approx $5 and $150 respectively, should you buy stars on Fragment.

The utility seems to be simple - just a cute image to send to a friend or put on your Telegram profile for a small ego-boost.

It is not that simple, of course. Let’s follow the rabbithole.

After buying/receiving the gift, one can upgrade it and a whole new market is opened – NFTs on TON.

Anyone can launch a standard NFT collection on TON – just like on other networks. There are hundreds of collections, with $296 million in sales volume and 6 million unique traders.

Gifts are different. As they are only launched by Telegram, the only options to acquire them as NFTs are:

Buy a gift when a new gift “collection” is dropped during a primary sale - the soldout can happen really fast, one of the latest collection - Ice Cream, was sold in 37 mins

Buy the gift as an NFT when it’s upgraded.

Currently, there are 110 gift collections: 71 of them already onchain, rest waiting for an upgrade or 21 days block to be lifted . Some examples:

As of June 12

Some collections are more popular among the celebs, for example: Snoop Dogg owns a Vintage Cigar, Swiss Watch, and Record Player – among other gifts; Luca Netz owns Heroic Helmet, Snow Mittens, Easter Egg and others. Pavel Durov owns Witch Hat, Love Potion, Ginger Cookie – and others.

The gifts can be burned, thus decreasing the total supply for the collection. Example: 4,206 Heroic Helmets burned, decreasing the supply by 52.3%.

And, like normal NFTs, one can earn gifts through competitions and challenges – for example, playing Void could have landed you the Swiss Watch gift. There are also cases, roulettes, and so on and so forth.

Since March 2025 we have also witnessed the beginning of GiFi emergence - one stake their gifts, even before they are onchain, and earn rewards in $TON, $USDt or $TONNEL with an APR which can be sometimes comparable to the DeFi Summer yield farms:

For now, NFTs on TON have not sparked the same culture and impact as in the previous cycle: no real equivalent to Punks, Pudgies or Miladies (even though there is TON version of each of these collections) has surfaced yet. But still, the renaissance of NFTs can easily happen on TON: it is already the 2nd biggest network in terms of onchain NFT trading volume, surpassed only by Ethereum - and should we count the offchain trades, TON frequently surpass even Ethereum starting from June 2nd 2025.

Gift collections are already one the most important subsets of NFTs on TON and are among the biggest categories in terms of weekly volume, together with Telegram Usernames and anonymous Telegram Numbers (both are utility NFTs).

And what if there was a gated group chat for the most devoted Gift collectors? 🤔

The Brief history of Gifts:

Telegram launched Gifts in early October 2024. The initial utility was simple: hedonic value — a cute image to send to a friend. There was also a small value-transfer aspect, as gifts could be instantly converted into Stars. However, the recipient would receive slightly fewer Stars than the sender spent — for example, a 15-Star gift might yield 13 Stars if converted. By January 2025, a secondary market for gifts emerged. A major update introduced the ability to upgrade gifts into collectibles, which are essentially TON NFTs.

For now, gift collections are launched exclusively by the Telegram team and begin as offchain assets. After 21 days, each gift becomes eligible for NFT conversion on the TON blockchain. These NFTs can be traded across existing marketplaces, including Telegram’s official marketplace, launched with the May 8th, 2025 update.

Looking deeper into the concept of Telegram Gifts, there's a clear resemblance to VK.com’s gift system. VK (initially launched by the Durov brothers in 2006) was a major Facebook alternative in post-Soviet countries. VK introduced its own digital gifts in 2007. The model was simple: VK’s team would release gift collections (with unlimited supply), and anyone could purchase a gift to send to a friend or influencer. Gifts became a form of communication. For instance, even if someone was banned by a particular VK user, they could still send them a gift — complete with a message. Early on, there was virtually no content moderation or censorship and VK users discovered an expected utility for gifts: bypass the moderation and submit honest feedback to services they didn't like.

Initially, VK gifts were free. Paid gifts were introduced in 2008 and quickly became one of VK’s revenue streams.

A core difference between Telegram Gifts and VK’s system is the presence of a secondary market. In VK, gifts were not transferable after they were sent — recipients couldn’t resell them. In Telegram, however, recipients can either:

- Instantly convert the gift into Stars (Telegram’s in-app currency), or

- Upgrade the gift to a convertible collectible, turning it into a TON NFT and enabling resale on the secondary market.
