  <p id="CNSe">We are launching a series of blog posts in which we&#x27;ll talk about updates to Shadow Fight 2, in-game events, and other important aspects of the project&#x27;s development.</p>
  <p id="Uews">Shadow Fight 2 remains one of our key projects, and after 12 years we want to develop the game more actively than ever. It&#x27;s important for us to preserve SF2&#x27;s rich legacy, so that every player of the series can return and reconnect with where it all began. We also want more and more people to discover this legacy.</p>
  <p id="Vez1">The project&#x27;s technical foundation was a major holdup for a long time, and in recent years we&#x27;ve been working on modernizing this iconic part of the series. In many ways, the work we did while creating Shades helped us, as did the years of supporting Shadow Fight 3 and Shadow Fight Arena. Now we&#x27;re almost ready to release a technically improved Shadow Fight 2, so that starting next year we can start releasing major updates again.</p>
  <p id="DH03">As part of the modernization process, we focused on creating a platform for developing more complex updates, improving the game&#x27;s security and stability, and enhancing the visual aspects of Shadow Fight 2.</p>
  <p id="nHtV">Now we&#x27;ll be able to support more complex technical solutions both on the application and the server levels, allowing us to release the long-awaited raid updates, expand clan functionality, and add the Clan Horn, Friends, Duels, and much more.</p>

  <h2 id="ULjU">Security and in-game stability</h2>
  <p id="4YSi">Both you and we are aware of cases of cheating, where players could increase damage, deal 99% damage to bosses and collect all rewards, reset sphere timers, alter combat animation timings, and much more. We definitely do not tolerate unfair play, and our goal is to bring in-game security to a level comparable with Shadow Fight 4, which serves as our internal benchmark for app protection. The planned modernization of Shadow Fight 2 changes the current app architecture and will allow us, step by step, to move closer to our goal of preventing cheating.</p>
  <p id="VZCx">Apart from cheating, situations sometimes occur in Shadow Fight 2 where players lose progress or switch platforms from iOS to Android. By modernizing the technical aspects of the game, and the later addition of Nekki ID, we&#x27;ll minimize cases of lost progress.</p>

  <h2 id="qKNA">Updated locations and user interface</h2>
  <p id="JIgS">On modern smartphone screens, battle locations don&#x27;t take up the entire screen and appear insufficiently detailed. With Shades, we already began adapting some iconic locations for larger screens and higher resolutions. In the updated Shadow Fight 2, all battle arenas in the game will receive an improved look and additional visual effects. We know that the battle locations contributed greatly to SF2&#x27;s iconic status, so we&#x27;re paying special attention to updating them and will welcome your feedback on the images you see.</p>
  <p id="eCli">Plans for new and updated in-game events</p>
  <p id="FsGS">Along with the release of major updates, we&#x27;ll start working on improvement of existing in-game events. We plan to expand and enhance Ritual Fights by introducing a new character and new items. Additionally, new seasonal events will appear in 2026. These events will tell new stories, offer alternative choices in how events unfold, and feature multiple possible endings. We&#x27;ll also add new mechanics for bosses, effects, weapons, and armor.</p>

  <h2 id="UbR4">Dialogue with the community</h2>
  <p id="ZHbD">After the technical modernization of the project is released, we&#x27;ll begin conducting regular surveys on the state of Shadow Fight 2 and your expectations for future updates, as well as establishing a direct dialogue between the team and the community. Many players are veterans of the game and carry the SF2 DNA no less than the development team members. It will be important for us to see and hear your confirmation that we&#x27;re moving in the right direction. Only through close contact with the community can we release new updates while preserving what is cherished by everyone in the game. Based on the dialogue we build with players, we&#x27;ll share which direction we&#x27;re taking for development decisions or updates.</p>

  <h2 id="pyBj">Next steps</h2>
  <p id="p4tU">The technically updated version of Shadow Fight 2 will be released in two stages: in December 2025, Shadow Fight 2 Special Edition will be updated, allowing us to test how stable our changes are and whether they are ready for release to millions of players of this legendary part of the series. We expect the release of update 3.0.0 for the main version of the game on mobile platforms to take place in spring 2026.</p>
  <p id="Qzeb">We thank all the players for staying with Shadow Fight 2 over the years. We look forward to the return of those who have temporarily left the project, and we are always happy to introduce new players to where it all began.</p>

  <p id="ckeQ">Hard to believe it’s already been that long — feels like just yesterday we had the beta test, the very first steps, that first fight with Lynx, the Hermit’s lightning bolts, and Talaikh’s gentle sunbeams!</p>
  <p id="xR3S">Just like last year, we want to personally share our thoughts, plans, and hopes with you — and maybe even show you something completely new.</p>
  <p id="4J4S">I’m Grimbago, narrative designer and writer on Shades, and today we’re chatting with the team!</p>
  <h2 id="Gv5g">Game Design</h2>
  <p id="yqLu"><strong>So… how’s it going?</strong></p>
  <p id="30AK"><strong>E.T. (Core Gameplay):</strong> This year we’ve kept busy — lots of duels, polishing and improving familiar events and mechanics, releasing new Shades (I hope they’ve spiced up your meta nicely), and of course, the Summer Fest event, which we’re really proud of.</p>
  <p id="5hoo">Huge thanks to the whole team for making that event happen, and to all the players in the community for the kind words!</p>
  <p id="LS2k">We’ve still got a couple of unreleased aces up our sleeve waiting for their moment, but yeah, I get it if some of you feel like content has slowed down lately. That’s because right now there’s one major task that has every department working flat out.</p>
  <p id="jV2F">And I’ll admit — I probably know what you’re thinking, but nope, that’s not it.</p>
  <p id="8d8o">Still, once we’re done, the series is going to get even more features, events, and all kinds of content. We’ve got ideas and enthusiasm to spare — it’s just time that’s missing.</p>
  <p id="6a9s"><strong>I see E.T. already voiced what most of you are probably thinking. I won’t keep you any longer.</strong></p>
  <h2 id="4sHi">Art</h2>
  <p id="P8DG"><strong>We’ve got a new member on the team! Dasha, how’s your time on Shades so far?</strong></p>
  <p id="9Pl0"><strong>Daria: </strong>I joined the Shades team not long ago and so far I’ve only drawn characters — that was actually my very first task. The game’s art style was completely new to me, which made it all the more interesting. What really surprised me — in the best way — was the passion and energy everyone brings to their work. It’s super inspiring when your ideas are valued and others help you make them even better.</p>
  <p id="Mpi8">I can’t wait to see my art in the game, and I really hope you’ll like it too!</p>

  <p id="THVM"><strong>Kostya:</strong> We’ve implemented many features and events…</p>

  <p id="PavH"><strong>Kostya:</strong>…working at the limits of our abilities…</p>
  <p id="7p7f"><strong>Stop! I know you’re shy, but please, use your own words. People want to hear you, not a campaign speech written by ChatGPT. Open your soul to us!</strong></p>
  <p id="WbQf"><strong>Kostya:</strong> But these are my words! I just asked an AI to make them sound nice!</p>

  <p id="YzAT"><strong>Kostya: </strong>Anyway! We want Shades to be a project that doesn’t just expand the story of the main series, but stands on its own — with its own charm, its own unique traits that players love.</p>
  <p id="TZn6">We want people to play Shades because they want to, to keep coming back, and to celebrate this anniversary with us year after year…</p>
  <p id="iKGo"><strong>Is it just me, or did someone from the Assassin’s Order start chopping onions nearby?</strong></p>
  <p id="qhIe"><strong>Kostya:</strong>…and love and happiness to all your homes! May the proud eagle soar high!.. <em>(At this point, the interviewer quietly slipped away — Ed.)</em></p>
  <h2 id="BPU4">Narrative</h2>
  <p id="RH8H">And finally, it’s me — your friendly neighborhood Grimbago.</p>
  <p id="fhgf">I know exactly what’s on your mind, friends — because, believe it or not, it’s on mine too, in my head, my heart, and my soul. Nobody wants to finish and release Act V more than I do — but we’ll have to wait just a bit longer.</p>
  <p id="kkXD">I think the sharp-eyed among you (which is, let’s face it, all of you) have long figured out that it’s not because we don’t want to, or because we’re lazy. It’s because everyone’s busy working on something entirely different.</p>
  <p id="fyaz">The secret will be revealed in December, and next year we plan to really dive back into Shades. We promised you an “act-free” meta — meaning all items are available in all acts, just like in Shadow Fight 2 — and once that’s done, we’ll move on to Act V.</p>
  <p id="ymuI">Even so, we still have plenty to be proud of this year: the Ally System, the nonlinear Summer Fest event — Shades has always been, and will remain, a game that strives to surprise you and bring something to the series that’s never been done before.</p>
  <p id="hKmq">That’s also one of the reasons we launched the Character Contest — we received 91 entries!</p>
  <p id="4msx">I can’t even imagine how long judging will take, but I do know I’m immensely proud to be part of such a passionate, creative community.</p>
  <p id="wJTJ">From the very beginning of development, we’ve relied on you and built a constructive dialogue with the community. We always try to listen to your ideas and feedback — and I have no doubt that’s exactly how we’ll make a game we can all be proud of.</p>

  <h2 id="TheU"><strong>Today, Shadow Fight 2 turns 12 years old — can you believe it?</strong></h2>
  <p id="8hMy">Over these years, we’ve opened the <strong>Gates of Shadows</strong>, closed them, opened them again, defeated <strong>Titan</strong>, found love, met the <strong>Immortals</strong>, traveled across different worlds — and most importantly, fought countless battles! We didn’t always win, but every time we got back up, faced our opponents again, and eventually emerged victorious.</p>
  <p id="C7AB">These 12 years, we’ve been growing together, becoming better and stronger. We’ve learned new tactics, tried new weapons, strengthened our fighting spirit, and sharpened our minds. But what happened over the last year?</p>

  <h2 id="Fvcf"><strong>Events</strong></h2>
  <p id="gcYi">We managed to launch several brand-new events this year, some of which were tied to the story of <strong>Shades</strong>. You really enjoyed these connected events, and we’re planning to keep creating more of them!</p>
  <p id="DkGT">On top of that, a few familiar stories made a comeback: battles against <strong>Freeze Junior, Adanti, and Rakshasa</strong> are never boring — just like the ritual fights, where we once again dove into a truly dark and mystical atmosphere.</p>

  <h2 id="oNTj">Items</h2>
  <p id="UKnC">The <strong>Shadow Fight</strong> universe is vast and diverse, and over the past year, we’ve added plenty of unique equipment to the game. We experimented with different styles — from grimdark to sci-fi — and you loved it! We enjoy creating exciting gear for you, so this trend is definitely here to stay.</p>
  <p id="nAJw">Speaking of items: <strong>don’t forget to log into the game on Monday the 22nd and claim our birthday gift for you!</strong></p>

  <h2 id="MVS3">Development</h2>
  <p id="ReDn">We’re sure many of you are wondering what’s next for the game. In the <a href="https://teletype.in/@shadowfight2/Wg3MWKkkFN8" target="_blank"><strong>Shades Q&amp;A</strong></a>, we mentioned that we’ve been working on a major feature for <strong>SF2 </strong>— and we’re happy to share that it’s coming very soon! You’ll learn more about it at the end of 2025, with the full release expected in the first half of 2026.</p>
  <p id="D52l">We can’t reveal all the details just yet, but we’re confident this will breathe new life into the game and give those who haven’t played in a while a great reason to come back.</p>

  <p id="1DNL">Over the years, a lot has been accomplished, and <strong>Shadow Fight 2</strong> has traveled an incredible path — one that has brought the game, let’s be honest, to a truly legendary status. So, we did our best to pick the most interesting and frequently asked ones and provide detailed answers.

To be honest, we were pleasantly surprised by how many questions you sent in — way more than we expected!<br />So, we did our best to pick the most interesting and frequently asked ones and provide detailed answers.<br />This article was put together by me — <strong>Grimbago</strong>, narrative designer and writer for Shades.<br />Let’s dive in!</p>

  <h2 id="ptaI">General</h2>
  <p id="8eHm"><strong>Q: When will Act 5 be released? And when can we expect the next major update?<br />A: </strong>We understand how important this question is to all Shades players, so we’ll be as transparent as possible. Unfortunately, the answer might not be the one you were hoping for: Act V is scheduled for release in 2026.<br />There are two main reasons for this. First, part of our team is currently involved in developing a major and important feature for Shadow Fight 2. Second, Shades is heading toward a significant shift in its meta — meaning what happens between runs — and that directly affects balance and other development details.<br />But that doesn’t mean we’ve put Act V on hold! The story, bosses, enemies, and locations are already in active development.</p>
  <p id="IGD2"><strong>Q: Is the previously mentioned merging of inventories from all Acts into one, like in Shadow Fight 2, planned? If yes, when will it be implemented — after all Acts are released, much later, or earlier?<br />A:</strong> Yes, this is a major update in development, and it will be completed before the release of Act V. The balance of Act V will be calculated taking this change into account.</p>
  <p id="VsSV"><strong>Q: Will the Combat Meter return to the game? It’s been two years since it was removed in version 0.2.0.<br />A:</strong> Let’s be completely honest — we didn’t expect this feature to matter so much to players. Now that we know you’re waiting for its return, we’ve started thinking about it. But, as with everything in Shades, the Combat Meter has to carry real gameplay meaning.<br />So, we’ll only bring it back when we’re 100% sure it can make the gameplay more engaging and give players new ways to develop their own combat tactics.</p>
  <p id="dQd2"><strong>Q: Can you share any details about the new mechanic? And when can we expect it in the game?<br />A: </strong>First, you can already see something completely new in the upcoming event “Traces in the Sand,” launching in Shades on August 6. Second, we currently plan to add a new Shades school along with Act V.</p>
  <p id="GSSH"><strong>Q: Are you planning to add a new mode, like the Underworld from the Shades storyline, or a Void mode with new bosses? Also, will there be more events featuring new allies and bosses?<br />A:</strong> The answer to both questions is “Yes.” I think the upcoming event “Traces in the Sand” will partly satisfy your curiosity: in it, we’re adding a new ally to the game and experimenting with gameplay. Don’t forget to share your impressions in the comments afterward!</p>
  <p id="P9Wi"><strong>Q: Will there be events or items in the game related to other games by the studio (not from the Shadow Fight series)?<br />A:</strong> A question back to you: what are you interested in? Fighting the Corporation’s fighters from Vector? Gaining Redline’s support as an ally? Tell us!</p>
  <p id="xp98"><strong>Q: Are there any planned changes to the core gameplay? If yes, what kind?<br />A:</strong> Aside from what’s already been mentioned, I can say that we plan to port animations from newer parts of the series into Shades. However, this may take a lot of time, so we can’t give exact timelines yet.</p>
  <p id="TJJG"><strong>Q: Will there be other types of combat besides Trials?<br />A:</strong> We definitely plan to add new game modes.</p>
  <p id="j2d4"><strong>Q: Why are there no comic arts in Act 4?<br />A: </strong>They will appear again, don’t worry. And they will be present from the very beginning of Act V.</p>
  <p id="LsQc"><strong>Q: Which bosses will appear in Act 5? If it’s a secret, can you at least give some hints?<br />A:</strong> I think after such a long wait, you deserve to know at least something — that would be fair. One of the bosses in Act V will be Dandy.</p>
  <p id="SHlh"><strong>Q: Is there a plan to rebalance bots and overall game difficulty in the future? Currently, the Easy mode is quite challenging — not only for newcomers but even for experienced SF2 veterans. Maybe lowering their stats?<br />A:</strong> When Shades transitions to the aforementioned act-free meta, the game balance will inevitably change. This will be a great opportunity to analyze run statistics again and make adjustments where necessary.<br />And, of course, we’ll fix Talaikh too.</p>
  <p id="qMZo"><strong>Q: Will characters from Shadow Fight 3 and 4 appear in Shades?<br />A:</strong> There is such a possibility. Some characters from other games have already reached an age at the time of Shades’ events where they can take part in the story or events.</p>
  <p id="aUX1"><strong>Q: I’m not happy with the leveling system. Will it be changed or improved in any way?<br />A:</strong> What exactly don’t you like? And how do you think it could be improved?</p>
  <hr />
  <h2 id="EBW5">Equip, Allies and Shades</h2>
  <p id="03K8"><strong>Q: When will the One-Handed Sword be added in Act II?<br />A: </strong>The one-handed sword will definitely be added to the game — no doubt about it. We know you’ve been waiting for it, and it’s already on the way.</p>
  <p id="bLu6"><strong>Q: Can you explain what Shades are and how they differ from Shadow Energy? The game doesn’t explain this — it just calls them &quot;threads of SE,&quot; which is confusing. Also, why don’t characters from SF3 use these so-called Shades?<br />A:</strong> The existence of Shadow Rifts, as you see them in Shades, is directly connected to the Eternals Sphere and the story of our game. You can think of Shadow Rifts as tears in space created by unstable shadow energy.</p>
  <p id="VT5E"><strong>Q: Will the Shade “Storm Front” get a rework?<br />A:</strong> We are not happy with the current state of School of Raiju. It will be reworked in the future but first we want to know if you&#x27;ll like a few new Shades we&#x27;re going to add soon.</p>
  <p id="cvZg"><strong>Q: In the equipment, there are sets with unusual bonuses (for example, a set granting counterattacks after blocking) that create new action sequences and tactics. Will similar abilities appear in other games of the series?<br />A:</strong> We can’t answer questions related to other games in the series, but the game design philosophy of Shades will continue to evolve in that direction: we want item traits to give players the ability to customize their gear to their playstyle and to interact interestingly with Shades.</p>
  <p id="dwX7"><strong>Q: Will there be an update to the forge and new mechanics added, including an item recycling system?<br />A:</strong> As we mentioned in response to another question, we’re reworking the Shades meta. Part of this overhaul includes changing the item upgrade and fusion system.</p>
  <p id="nmXt"><strong>Q: How many allies will there be in total? If by the end there are more than 15, the regular cranes might not be enough to obtain allies of Leg+++ level — is there a plan to address this issue in the future?<br />A: </strong>We plan to add more allies to the game, and we have ideas on how to ensure dedicated players can collect as many of them as possible. It’s in our interest to encourage you to try different allies and experiment with combat tactics!</p>
  <p id="vhro"><strong>Q: Why hasn’t there been a single Ally Event all year, not even repeat ones for regular allies like May and Sly?<br />A: </strong>You will be able to get a new ally in the upcoming event “Traces in the Sand,” which launches next week!</p>
  <p id="S7ol"><strong>Q: THE TITAN&#x27;S SWORD WHEN?<br />A: WHEN TITAN.</strong><br />P.S. Seriously though, first expect the arrival of other cool weapon types from SF2. There’s still a lot missing in Shades. When everything’s here, then maybe we’ll consider it.</p>

  <h2 id="RIYO">Story</h2>
  <p id="F8Wi"><strong>Q: Why did Shadow have the Eternals Sphere (or whatever it is) in the very first Shades comic? Wasn’t it destroyed or split into many fragments at the end of Shadow Fight 2?<br />A: </strong>No. The player receives the Eternals Sphere after defeating Titan, and at that point, it’s completely intact..</p>
  <p id="VrPy"><strong>Q: Is there any chance we’ll encounter any associate or remnant of Titan again?<br />A: </strong>Titan conquered many worlds, and Shadow Rifts can lead to other worlds — so it wouldn’t be entirely accurate to say it’s impossible.</p>
  <p id="5GFg"><strong>Q: Can we get the backstory of Shadow — how he became an invincible warrior?<br />A:</strong> A training Story for Shadow? Sounds interesting! We’ll definitely consider it — especially if more and more players keep asking for it.</p>
  <p id="IUqp"><strong>Q: Will we find out what happened to magic and how (and why) it was replaced by shadow energy?<br />A:</strong> Yes, but a bit later. Right now, we are focused on other details of the story.</p>
  <p id="PzEk"><strong>Q: Will we be able to explore the Shadow World again? And what happened to it? That place is very interesting.<br />A: </strong>Shadow Rifts are mysterious and they lead to difefrent worlds. Shadow has already visited Shadow World during Shades story and there&#x27;s a possibility that it&#x27;ll happen again.</p>
  <p id="f0N6"><strong>Q: As we know, the multiverse in Shadow Fight is vast — but how vast exactly? Is it infinite or finite? If it’s infinite, it opens endless possibilities for the game. For example, could there be an all-out multiversal war? Is there a chance we might see such a war in the future, where Shadows from different universes fight each other?<br />A: </strong>To be honest, this question is a bit unclear. From an empirical standpoint, there’s no real difference between an incredibly large number and infinity (like with stars in our universe, for example!). As for a multiversal war of Shadows—that sounds like an interesting idea for an event at the very least!</p>
  <p id="0V9Q"><strong>Q: How many shards of the Eternals Sphere are there in total?<br />A: </strong>At the moment, Shadow and his team know about four allies—and that’s not all of them.</p>
  <p id="Spp8"><strong>Q: When did Shadow and Kanade meet? If they haven’t met, how is she his ally?<br />A:</strong> For now, you can consider this a game convention. Whether they will meet in the future and become allies — who knows! Better tell us how you imagine their possible interaction.</p>
  <p id="9Jy5"><strong>Q: Did the Shogun survive after the Sensei drained all his power? How will this affect him in the future?<br />A:</strong> We know this plot twist shocked many players, and you’re curious about what happened to the Shogun. We can’t answer that just yet, but rest assured—you will learn about his fate.</p>
  <p id="xQgv"><strong>Q: What is the name of the world Talaikh comes from?<br />A:</strong> Maybe Talaikh will tell the story himself, if we meet again?</p>
  <p id="3Xcm"><strong>Q: Where did Nebiri come from, and where was he before Wasp became the Pirate Queen?<br />A:</strong> He was simply a successful pirate captain causing chaos without meddling in land affairs. Perhaps if it weren’t for the Shards, we might never have even known about his existence!</p>
  <p id="PjtJ"><strong>Q: Why has Grandmother Sakura lived for so long?<br />A:</strong> Maybe she has a magical ring that she obtained during a journey to a distant mountain many years ago.</p>
  <p id="JFWz"><strong>Q: Why is Shin still the weakest member of the Assassin&#x27;s Order after all these years?<br />A:</strong> Less than a year has passed between the events of SF2 and Shades. And is Shin really the weakest? He at least did everything he could to become stronger!</p>
  <p id="SWBw"><strong>Q: Will characters from Old Wounds return later in the story? Are there any existing concepts for the final boss—such as their powers and narrative significance?<br />A: </strong>Characters from the &quot;Old Wounds&quot; might very well appear if there’s a place for them in the main story or events.</p>
  <p id="yGnD"><strong>Q: If the Sphere of the Immortals can open Shadow Rifts to other worlds—rifts that ordinary people can pass through—then why didn’t the Titan use a complete Sphere for this purpose? What was holding him back?<br />A:</strong> We might learn the answer to this question in future acts of Shades.</p>
  <p id="2FPG"><strong>Q: In the duel called Flame of Obsession, where the opponent is the Outcast, a tribe that worships fire and lives beyond the sea is mentioned. Is this tribe the future Legion?<br />A: </strong>Yes.</p>
  <p id="gWkF"><strong>Q: What is the hierarchy within the Shadow Realm?<br />A:</strong> If the story leads Shadow to the Shadow World, he will definitely find out about it.</p>
  <p id="uy3b"><strong>Q: Nebiri mentioned that he is an Admiral. If that&#x27;s true, then of what fleet—or what kind of forces—and under whose command?<br />A: </strong>Nebiri commands a fleet of pirate ships, so he decided to call himself Admiral. After all, if he’s the fiercest pirate around, who’s going to stop him?</p>
  <p id="5GZr"><strong>Q: When the Sensei took someone else’s power, he can be encountered in two variations: fiery, poisonous, and formidable, or lightning-fast. Is there any connection here to how the character Mnemos from SF3 switched between three energies during battle?<br />A:</strong> No.</p>
  <p id="V9dS"><strong>Q: What secrets of ancient magic did the Hermit know?<br />A:</strong> Students line up to learn even a fraction of his knowledge, and you expect us to just spill everything to you? No way!</p>
  <p id="G4KJ"><strong>Q: The Corsair, Guru, and Sensei all easily obtained and used a Shard of the Eternals Sphere. So why did Assassin have to search for their Shard in the Trembling Isles—and even compete with local pirates for its possession?<br />A:</strong> The answer to this question is in the story of Act IV, but let’s answer it here too — why not? Assassin was buried under the rubble of Titan’s Citadel and couldn’t reach his shard. Because of the same events, he lost his hand: even the strongest fighters can’t easily survive such catastrophes.</p>
  <p id="8RnT"><strong>Q: Will there be references—or even direct appearances—of the early Legion, the tribes of the future Dynasty, in Shades?<br />A:</strong> Actually, there already are some. But there will definitely be more to come.</p>

  <p id="lRFk">A couple of weeks ago, we collected your questions about Shadow Fight 2, and we see that since the last article, you’ve had quite a few interesting ones! Thank you to everyone who responded. Our team has carefully read through all of them and is ready to answer the most interesting and frequently asked questions! Let’s get started!</p>
  <hr />
  <h2 id="AN8J">General</h2>
  <p id="Zrsw"><strong>Q: What inspired you to create such an interesting game series?</strong><br />A: The writing team behind the <strong>Shadow Fight</strong> series is very diverse. Among us, some are passionate about tabletop games and RPGs, others love classic kung-fu movies from the ’70s, horror films (including those from Troma Studios), academic music, and jazz. Some even practice historical reenactment or fencing.<br />Our stories are always eclectic, and you never know which hobby or old movie might inspire a new idea.</p>
  <p id="KuAx"><strong>Q: Do you plan to reveal the backstories of all the main characters — Shadow, May, Sensei, the shadow demons, and Titan?</strong><br />A: We have already shared Sensei’s backstory and touched on the demons in the <strong>Shadow Fight 2</strong> expansion, <strong>«Old Wounds»</strong>. We are always considering delving deeper into the characters’ stories. However, it needs to be a truly great story that adds something new to their characters.</p>
  <p id="VMh6"><strong>Q: When will the problem with cheaters be solved?!</strong><br />A: We understand your frustration—and we share it completely. The work to detect and ban cheaters is ongoing, but unfortunately, not always instant. If you encounter suspicious behavior, don’t hesitate to report it to support—every complaint helps us keep the game cleaner.</p>
  <p id="WJwW"><strong>Q: Will you add a «Report» button to the Raid mode in the next update? Many hackers are ruining the gameplay, and we can&#x27;t do anything about it.</strong><br />A: You can find the report button after the battle, in the raid participants menu.</p>
  <p id="F2IE"><strong>Q: Do you plan to create video reviews of characters in the future? Will Titan return?</strong><br />A: It’s a good idea, we’ll consider it. As for Titan — there’s no news yet.</p>
  <p id="lTwr"><strong>Q: Will we be able to add other players as friends?</strong><br />A: This feature is not available in the game, but you can team up by joining guilds.</p>
  <hr />
  <h2 id="7pkb">Game modes &amp; Equipment</h2>
  <p id="6Ria"><strong>Q: Are there plans to add the horn and other items marked as «in development»?</strong><br />A: Possibly! We don’t reveal all our plans in advance, but if an item is marked as «in development», that’s a good sign.</p>
  <p id="QJhM"><strong>Q: When is the 5th tier expected, and will it be added at all? If so, we’d love to see a new mythic set for it, like the Neo-Wanderer set for the 4th tier.</strong><br />A: Yes, we plan to continue expanding the <strong>Underworld</strong>. Stay tuned — there will be plenty of exciting content!</p>
  <p id="GqzC"><strong>Q: Is a new way to obtain old mythic sets planned?</strong><br />A: We have ideas on how to implement this, and it is currently under discussion.</p>
  <p id="Ra37"><strong>Q: When will new event bosses appear? Fighting the same Lamb over and over is getting boring.</strong><br />A: Very soon! We’ll be introducing a new character to the ritual fights shortly. You’ll definitely like it.</p>
  <p id="laps"><strong>Q: Are there plans to add one of the unreleased sets, like the Dragon set with the mythic enchantment «Stone Fetters», or will there be other mythic sets?</strong><br />A: In the future, we plan to release new sets with unique enchantments.</p>
  <p id="dIkU"><strong>Q: Will the game continue to develop, and is PvP planned for the future?</strong><br />A: We are constantly developing the game, but the PvP mode is currently exclusive to the <strong>Nintendo Switch</strong> version.</p>
  <p id="JgF6"><strong>Q: Will there be a separate version of the game for Nintendo Switch 2?</strong><br />A: There are no plans for that at the moment.</p>
  <p id="enDt"><strong>Q: As someone who played Shadow Fight 1, I remember there was an option to get bosses as skins. Is there any plan to implement this feature in Shadow Fight 2 for the Raid mode? Or has this idea been considered before?</strong><br />A: At the moment, we do not plan to implement this.</p>
  <p id="uf3G"><strong>Q: Do you plan to occasionally spice up the event raid bosses? For example, replace the Lamb with the Architect and add his set for that?</strong><br />A: Very soon, we will introduce a new character to the ritual fights — you’ll like it. We also have other plans to develop these modes further.</p>
  <p id="V8we"><strong>Q: You released three consecutive sets — Spore Soul, Abyss Mark, and Karcer — and none of them provided a noticeable advantage in fights. Can we expect major reworks of these sets?</strong><br />A: Large-scale changes to sets are planned for the future. It’s possible that the ones you mentioned will be affected as well.</p>

  <h2 id="Rcev">Story</h2>
  <p id="yWqC"><strong>Q: What is the explanation for Shadow’s appearance in the Raids, aside from the developers stating it’s non-canon? There are moments in the game — like Shadow&#x27;s escapades in the Raids after defeating Titan — that could’ve just been cut out, leaving only a Underworld button without a story.</strong><br />A: Actually, it is canon — just told from a different perspective. The <strong>Eternals </strong>are a vital part of the <strong>Shadow Fight</strong> universe, and you’ll learn more about their nature soon in <strong>Shadow Fight 3.</strong><br />We added a story to the Raids because if one player — <strong>Shadow </strong>— is already a true combat powerhouse, then a whole team becomes an unstoppable army of warriors that wipes out everything in its path. Such overwhelming force needs an equally powerful opponent. And so, nature itself gifted the heroes of the game with just such a rival.</p>
  <p id="xeMA"><strong>Q: What bothers me most is the lack of continuation of Sensei’s story. Why is it still missing?</strong><br />A: In fact, the continuation of Sensei’s story is the plot of <strong>Shadow Fight 2</strong>. We always have more to tell about the game’s world and its heroes, so keep a close eye on events throughout the entire series — not just in <strong>SF2</strong>.<br />Sensei’s adventures may continue in any format — even one you might not expect.</p>
  <p id="BaNH"><strong><em>Q: Is the Blackness truly immortal, or just a random character?</em></strong><br />A:<strong> The Blackness</strong> is nature’s response to human behavior. It’s not a monster in the usual sense, not a human, and not an Immortal. Rather, it’s a mirror reflecting all of the above — a kind of moral tuning fork.</p>
  <p id="6vdJ"><strong><em>Q: Could you tell us more about Tenebris? How did he appear, and why did he create the Eternals, as well as light and darkness?</em></strong><br />A: <strong>Tenebris</strong> is a being of a different order — neither good nor evil. It’s simply a force of nature. Like any natural force that may seem terrifying to us — such as an earthquake — <strong>Tenebris</strong> simply exists, to maintain balance. After all, someone must oversee the Eternals.<br />You’ll learn more about the nature of this entity in <strong>Shadow Fight 3</strong>.</p>
  <p id="XbLG"><strong><em>Q: How exactly did the six demons, when they were still human, end up beyond the Gates in the Shadow Realm?</em></strong><br />A: To conquer a new world, <strong>Titan </strong>needs locals who are open to his influence — for example, the vain, the especially cruel, or those who’ve been broken by traumatic events. Take <strong>Widow</strong>, for instance (as revealed in the <strong>Old Wounds</strong> expansion).<br />So they didn’t exactly pass through the Gates — rather, something seeped through or came from beyond them.</p>

  <p id="ESmW">Characters in the Shadow Fight universe don&#x27;t like to stand idle. This also applies to Shadow&#x27;s allies: they do not want to stand by while the fate of the world is being decided.</p>

  <p id="ivYG">Персонажи вселенной Shadow Fight не любят бездействовать. Это касается и союзников Тени: они не желают оставаться в стороне, когда решается, возможно, судьба мира.</p>
  <p id="89NH">Поэтому мы, как и обещали, вводим совершенно новую механику. В боевом интерфейсе появляется пятая кнопка — журавлик, хорошо знакомый вам по событиям в игре и символизирующий союзников Тени. Когда полоска заряда союзника заполняется, у вас появляется возможность нажать на эту кнопку, и экипированный союзник появляется на арене, чтобы помочь вам!</p>

  <p id="4MNC"><strong>Hi everyone! Today we are happy to announce the release of version 1.8.0 and the return of the Paths in the Snow event! In this post, we&#x27;ll tell you what&#x27;s changed in the game and what to expect next. </strong></p>

  <p id="3duW">Just like last year, you&#x27;ll be playing as Kanade, a girl who has to gather her family around the holiday table at the request of her grandmother Sakura. The world around her, however, is full of danger, and Kanade&#x27;s journey will not be an easy walk!</p>
  <p id="9QBf">Compared to last year, we&#x27;ve made a few important changes to the balance of the event:</p>
  <ul id="y05N">
    <li id="OSLt">Holly&#x27;s Bodyguard: invulnerability has been removed from the grenade throw animation, and the animation itself has been slowed down. Hitting the bodyguard during this attack is considered a block hit.</li>
    <li id="krih">Holly: removed the invulnerability from the Hail of Arrows animation.</li>
    <li id="B13k">Holly: added two new abilities (Flash Grenade and Flash Kunai).</li>
    <li id="tOJr">Holly: when trapped in a corner, sometimes teleports away from the player.</li>
    <li id="8oQh">Flauros&#x27; Bodyguard: reduced radius and blast damage. Blast no longer ignores Invulnerability status</li>

    <li id="jSSD">Added new unique bosses in ‘Duel’.</li>
    <li id="7PZq">Updated the rotation of opponents and locations of the ‘Duel’ mode.</li>
    <li id="9ODI">Improved the work of the shade generator for ’Duels‘: now the player should not get unnecessary shades</li>
    <li id="ImNk">Integration of YooMoney payment system.</li>
    <li id="Nr5W">Optimisation of the client and device load.</li>
    <li id="ODix">Paths in the Snow’ event: improved locations</li>
    <li id="8Ep2">Event ‘Breath of Death’: changed enemy Fist of Flame: optimised performance, reduced damage, fixed hit detection (attacks on it are read more correctly).</li>
    <li id="vgP6">&#x27;Lost in Translation&#x27; event: boss and special enemy updated</li>
    <li id="mNMH">Act IV Final Boss: added an ability that activates when the boss is cornered.</li>
    <li id="EaeH">Corrected shade names that contained bugs</li>
    <li id="Iidl">Fixed an invisibility bug when combining Legendary Daisho super strike and Protective Impulse magic</li>
