iPad screen seems to be scratchable for me from my older iPad experiences. Also, this Air 4 I have is not rigid at all (unlike older models I had) and even while writing with thew Pencil, the screen gets colorful waves at times. This does not do anything bad to it, just does not feel very reliable.

When I was trying to upload something to YouTube or somewhere else, the apps could close in the background -> progress lost -> impossible to do normal actions.

When I was writing a post in teletype web, while I was scrolling, a whole paragraph of text disappeared (once, but damn was I upset at that particular moment, trying to convince myself that it was not worth being published; had to retype the whole passage later anyway: equipment should work, period).

Also, it's impossible to have a video chat with someone and write notes at the same time: I would not be really visible from a normal angle "en face" in that scenario.

Only a couple of examples from my life. Does not work for me. Don't get tempted to give away your computer too fast while being "inspired" after a series of YT videos. Unless you think twice at least :D

Оно просто плохо выглядят. И это не я должен как-то придумывать, чтоб носить и улучшать внешний вид ваших ботов, а они должны быть такими улетными, чтобы меня носить и при любом аутфите вытягивать меня в плюс по стилю.

Например, возьмём кроссовки Nike. Кроме того, что это был мой любимый бренд с детства, еще когда я играл в баскетбол и родители мне покупали баскетбольную обувь от этой фирмы, то это еще и бренд с историей.

Я слушал книгу Фила Найта "Продавец обуви", и я просто офигел от того, насколько мало там о затхлом бизнесе и корпоративных штучках и насколько много там о человеческих чувствах, эмоциях и выборе в пользу чего-то большего.

Может, поэтому такой классный дизайн и получился.

Или возьмём Apple, что тоже мне нравилось с детства, прямо с того момента, когда батя купил мне у своего знакомого б/ушный iPod nano 4. Я тогда взял его в руки после своего китайского пластикового MP4-плеера и такой: "а шо, так можно?"

И я сразу стал самым модным. Именно просто самым крутым. Все. Потом я встречался с самой красивой девочкой в школе, мне кажется это из-за того что у меня был айпод нано, а больше вообще ни у кого не было, так и случилось. Я чувствовал себя тупо королём.

Так и вернёмся к истокам. Что было написано на первом логотипе Эппл? Как появился этот бренд?

Some time ago I penalised myself by studying (or up-studying) Arabic language. A decent — or even more decent than others — amount of time I was doing it thanks to and using an iPad.

Like half a year or so I was studying using paper and a tutor, and another year or so using an iPad and a tutor.

I cannot deny how painful it was in the very end, when I realised — just as a couple of times before — that it was all a non-essential effort for the world. I literally was isolated in this activity and had no feedback from the outer world.

On the other hand, I did really like how it was feeling to scratch the letters on the screen, highlight new words and even doodle while writing my notes. But it is a story of pain, anyway.

To conclude, an iPad can be a great hand and mind extension, especially for studying, but be careful with the subjects you choose for your experiments. Maybe sometimes it's more useful to play PUBG and stay calm (fuck).

The problem was only that I did not learn anything to the extent that it would drastically change my life as I was hoping. Though, as MF DOOM would say, if I count this as a lab experiment and not a life-changing endeavour and last resort of Mr. Max to attain — then it's not that bad.

And all that inspiring-motivating type of crap is not really designed for everyone. Sometimes better really to do no effort at all, and it will save you time, money and health.

Leonardo da Vinci always preferred to go to the source when exploring something, as Walter Isaacson wrote in Leonardo's biography.

He also wrote that Leonardo thought about himself as of an ordinary man, not as of somebody genius or of extraordinary capabilities.

The thing is, Buckminster Fuller — fullerenes are named after him — was saying the same. Fuller believed that with such a development of technology that he witnessed in his life — everyone is capable of everything that a man could not even dream about some years ago.

Fuller was born at the era of horse carts, and faced the era of passenger sky liners cruising above the clouds closer to the end of his life. He told once that he was truly astounded when one of those flying machines was heard or seen above — it inspired him and gave him trust in humanity.

I don’t see the need in presenting Leonardo's bizarre-at-the-time-looking inventions here, for most of us have probably seen his flying vehicles, tanks or Mona Lisa.

So why did those ordinary people, such as Fuller and da Vinci, believe that everyone was capable of what they were doing?
