As a comparison: $1,47 Billion was the trading volume in the same period in 2021, thats a drop of 90%. Again unbalanced board of sellers vs. buyers this week leading to a further decrease of profitable trades.

Among the Top Collections, Azuki showed the biggest pump +34%, CloneX, Moonbirds & Doodles with +12% increase in Floor Price.
Free Mint collection "DigiDaigaku" climbed up from last weeks average price of 2.7 ETH to 11.9 ETH. Pudgy Penguin still continues to perform quite well with a weekly trading volume of $2.5 Million and an average price of 3.5 ETH.

A tough week for the NFT space...

Absorbing the energy of the bear market and its related volatility. After the crypto market climbed up in the previous weeks to an MoM high, we’ve been sailing down again, resulting in further drops in NFT collections too. A massive gap between the number of Sellers vs. Buyers led to a negative balance of unique addresses with a positive 30D P&L. On top of that, BendDao slipped into a bit of a liquidity crisis - we’ve covered it with a quick view of their liquidation mechanic in this article (must read!).

Let's dive into the highlights of the past 7 days of week 30

Interesting news this week from MagicEden, Yuga Labs & Coinbase, as well as a surprise on the marketplace side.

Overall floor prices of some of the most popular NFT collections rose over the past 7 days. Most bullish among the top collections was CrytpoPunks, which saw its FP rise by nearly 7%. BAYC came second up 4% over the same time period.

Sales volume was down by 14.9%, but the market cap was up by 1.36% no big moves during the week but consistent market sentiment.

Surprise #1:
X2Y2 generated more weekly sales volume than OpenSea and MagicEden together.

Surprise #2:
Element Market lands on rank 6, which sounds at first like a web2 marketplace for logos, is actually an aggregator marketplace backed by Sequoia. Looking at the current volume, it looks like that we will see Element overtaking Gem during CW-31 into the Top 5.

Heavy bounce: After Minecraft’s NFT ban announcement, “NFT Worlds” Floor Price dropped from 3 ETH down to 0.5 ETH, at back to the current FP of 1.2 ETH.

While Ethereum surged to its highest level in five weeks, NFTs worth $306 mln changed hands during calendar week 28. Overall volume was 10.9% higher than the prior week, CryptoPunks' sales volume rose by 134%.

Interesting move: Art Blocks saw their FP crash by 80%  from ATH, however. with nearly 4k ETH traded over the last 7 days, the collection is taking third place on OpenSea’s volume leaderboard.
