Short and Sweet

After the big changes we rolled out last month, we have a simple newsletter for you guys this month. Let's get right into it.

Bot Arcade Changes

A new category of channels will be steadily rolling out over the month. This will focus entirely on Bot Commands and Discord games.First off, Bot Arcade (the channel) will be renamed into Nova Casino. This will be fully dedicated to the Monthly Jackpot and everything to do with hit. It's gotten pretty clogged as it currently houses ALL of our members Bot commands, to help with this...we will be making a simple command channel where you can use basic commands like /report, /levels, and etc. Chroma station will also be moved to this channel. If we add new bots to Supernova, we will give them their own specific channel inside this category. Of course, we know channel clog is a persistent issue inside of Supernova. So we will try to be mindful of what we add. However, a new spin on an old classic discord event might find it's permanent home inside this category. That's if you guys actively engagge with it of course.

Introducing Chroma Wars!

Almost a year and half ago, we ran a week long event called Staff Wars! A largely complicated mess of an event where we pit two sides of the staff team against each other and the community could support them using various action commands. This...was a decent idea, but it didn't quite hit the mark. However, some of the community has been asking for something similar. We've also been looking to make a more engaging way to bring new Chroma-Star Colors (Discord role colors) into Supernova outside simple votes...So we introduce to you...CHROMA WARS!

A server in turmoil, pick a side!

Fidgit and Widgit are at war with one another! They both have a selection of colors they'd like to add to the Chroma Station, but there's only so much Chromalite to go around! So each bot ks asking the Nova-nauts to help secure as much of it as possible. Pledge your allegiance to one of the Bots, and assist your side with collecting as much Chromalite as possible by using various action commands! The team that gets that fills their Chromalite Reactor the most by the end of the event wins! Seems simple enough right? Haha...WRONG

Vibrant and Violent

You'lll be able to peacefully extract and refine chromalite inside your factions specific channel....however the opposing faction can invade your channel and try to steal, sabotage, and attack your Chromalite production! You'll be able to return the favor of course, and go over and attack them! Going on the offensive is risky though, and you could end up loosing chromalite if the enemies defenses are well maintained!

Progression and Playing

Each Day, Widgit will post a progress tracker for both sides to see how the war is going. You'll see how full your Chromalite Reactor is, and how full the enemies is! Don't sweat about your team hogging all the action commands, you'll be able to help the War effort completely at your own pace...with most commands having only a personal cooldown...However, both sides have a chance to use certain Super Commands that can be only claimed by one side per use! Fidgit and Widgit will also deploy their armies if Fidgi-trons and Widgi-bots against one another to help aid in the conflict! The event will also last for 7 days! Those with a little bit of spare Nova Tokens can purchase Warbonds for their team! These will give random buffs for their entire faction for 1 day!
Is this pay to win? No, it's gambling to win! 99% of all Chroma-war veterans quit before they win big!

When the dust settles...

When the event ends, the winner will be declared. The Faction with the most Chromalite in their Reactor will be crowned winner, and their colors will be added to the Chroma Station. The losing faction will have their Bot executed on a livestream and each member of their faction permanently banned. Just kidding! The colors that lose will go back into rotation and be brought back as an option at a later date. If the community enjoys this event, we will turn it into a reoccurring event every few months!

The winning factions members will also be given a month long XP boost, 50 Diamond Entries in the monthly jackpot, and the Chroma-naut role EVEN if they aren't level 50 yet. Of course, when the event arrives, a simple breakdown of how to play will be provided. Oh speaking of which...when does the war start? Monday, May 26th! (Based on USA-EST) and will end on Monday, June 2nd. (Also based on USA-EST).

Spring has sprunkled

Or something along those lines I'm not really the best at reading. We got plenty of things to yap about, so let's get right into it!

New Admin alert!

It's been a long time coming, Samosa joins the ranks as our newest Nova Administrator! His main focus will be Game nights, Community events, and Development assistance. Congratulations Samosa, you've earned it! Now if we could only get him to learn his left from his rights... he could become owner!

New Partnership?

What's this? A partnership inside of Supernova? We haven't had one of those since... Do you guys know what an "Aye-viscraft" is? Don't think I've ever heard of it. Anyway, we are proud to announce our official partnership with EthelMC! EthelMC is ran by our good friends Seraphina and Charles, who lead their cozy community and run two SMP's. We think their community and values align pretty similarly to our own. So if you're feeling like checking out a new mc server, go visit the Ethelians! You can find their link and more info about them in the "Partner Board" channel! (Will be posted in the next few days)

Please remember that if you go over to Ethel, you're representing Supernova! Please do your absolute best to follow and respect their rules and culture.

XP and Levels

IT NEVER ENDS, BILLIONS MUST GRIND. XP has gotten a pretty big overhaul going into this month! You will now receive XP for doing ANY action inside of Supernova. Texting, Talking in VCs (needs at least 1 other human present), Reacting, Posting in Nova Gallery, Spamming pear gifs at Sammyyy in mess hall...ANYTHING gives XP now. Following this change to XP, we've reworked the level cap from 500 to 1000! We've sprinkled in some extra prizes at every 100 levels now across the board too!

New Level Rewards & Boosts

Every 100 Levels now gives you an additional Personal Box command to open capping out at Ten! However each personal box has a different command to open. They are each numbered. So try !personalbox1, !personalbox2, etc.(feature drops late April-May) Certain channels also now give more XP depending on their purpose. Mess Hall gives the least, while things like Aviscraft Community, Global, MvM Community(soon), Nova Gallery, and Hangout VC give higher amounts of XP for participating. Boosting the server now gives you a 50% XP Boost from all sources.

Introducing...Widgit

Fidgit has been clearly overworked, running the entirety of Supernova's bot functions has been quite the stressful task for our little bot. Especially since he was programmed by me...and that can never end well. So he's called in some backup...meet Widgit! His little brother. Widgit will now assume the responsibilities of running the Bot Arcade, displaying certain embed messages, and other various miscellaneous tasks around the server. Widgit would of preferred to be the Moderator Bot, but Fidgit had seniority and threatened to pull rank on Widgit.

Bot Arcade Category

It's not all doom and gloom for Widgit however! His first big task will be completely overhauling the Bot Arcade...it's gotten kinda messy hasn't it? Expect a whole new category to appear regarding Bot channels sometime in april-may! (This will be a category you can opt into or opt out of via a role if you'd like to not see the channels)

Fidgit Overhaul

Now that Widgit is handling all the Bot Arcade stuff, Fidgit is getting a massive Overhaul and becoming a certified Moderator Bot. He's getting tons of new features. This will make protecting our server easier for our mods, and ensure our community remains as safe as we can make it.

Verbal Warns and Infractions

With Fidgit getting an Overhaul, we've also taken a step back and reviewed our Warn system and how we deal with Infractions. We'd like to make some big changes to how we deal with Rule Enforcment. First off, Verbal Warns. Verbal Warnings will now be issued out by Chaperones, Mods, and Chief Mods incase a conversation or behavior is starting to get close to breaking the rules. These Warnings are purely to just let everyone know that it's time to chill out and either switch the topic or step away from it all together. Noones getting in trouble when a Verbal Warn is issued. When a Mod says they are using a Verbal Warn, noones in trouble! It's a safety net to give everyone a heads up that we are starting to push too far away from our Communities Rules, and that it's time to settle down before actual punishments are handed out. Actual Warns (Infractions) are still a thing However, and now members will only get 3 of them before they get banned from the server. This was originally 5, but we found this allowed certain members too many chances and they ended up causing more harm then good. Certain actions will still warrant immediate Infractions/bans such as DM advertising and posting NSFW content. Keeping the community healthy and safe always comes first, and the Discord Division reserves the right to remove any individual that they deem a threat to safety or culture.

To help with this change in Infractions...every single currently not-banned Nova-Naut now has a 100% Clean slate and fresh start. We've removed every single Infraction members may of had on their record. So going forward, everyone's starting on a new leaf. Remember, the mods don't get ya banned, it's poor behavior that gets ya banned!

Reports and Appeals

Have a DM Scammer coming from our Server? Or maybe a particularly annoying person in VC saying hateful things? Don't worry, you can now use fidgit to report troublesome users directly to the mods! Simply to /report and fill out all the prompts! Try to provide as much evidence as possible, and attach it to the report! Our mod team can then directly handle your report, and you'll remain anonymous from the troublemaker! The Mod team will be able to see that you made the report though! Any nova-naut can use this command! However, abusing it is a Rule 1 Violation. But let's say you have an Infraction you would like to get off your record, or perhaps...maybe even appeal your ban? You can now appeal these using fidgit! Whenever you get an Infraction, Fidgit will DM you letting you know! He will also conveniently leave behind a link to Appeal.GG. A site that hosts are Appeal forms. Fill out an appeal (honestly and respectfully) and if the mod team agrees to appeal whatever punishment you recieved...it will get removed!

Rule 1 & 2 changes

Rule 1 and 2 are changing, so let me break it down for you. Rule 1 will now prohibit Stealing Art (never thought we'd have to make this rule but yet here we are) and abusing Report commands.

Rule 2 will now allow Political and Social issue discussions in a RESPECTFUL and POLITE demeanor. We don't think this causes to much harm on the community, as long as you can keep these topics civil and respectful, we will allow them. However, if we find that these topics cannot be handled in a mature manner or users are attacking others beliefs and political views...Bans will be handed out and we will revert the political topics change immediately. Explicitly sexual topics are still 100% off the table. Behave yourselves Nova-Nauts.

Pruning out Inactivity

Starting this month, and going forward after the newsletter we will be removing members who haven't logged onto discord OR clicked on the Supernova Network in 30 days. These prunes (or purges) will happen a day or so after every Newsletter. This month specifically, we will be pruning roughly 60ish members. We value quality over quantity here at Supernova. Sure, everyone likes a high member count. But if that high member count doesn't translate into active members...then who cares? We predict after this intial prune, that the Monthly prunes will only kick out a few members each month. Also, if you're worried that your getting pruned...You're one of the folks reading this newsletter...that means you've viewed Supernova at least once in the last 30 days. We may step up pruning efforts and do larger Purges where it is necessary. So just be prepped to see a bunch of folks get kicked in the next 24-48 hours.

Let's get down to business

This Newsletter is short and simple! We will be going over the Bot Arcade's infinite shutdown, Game Nights, MvM and Nova Games Future, Assistants finally rolling out, and the return of a certain type of stream! Enough yapping, let's get into it!

Fidgit on the Fritz!

Wondering why nothing happened in February regarding Bot Arcade? No, it's not because amp forgot (trust me bro) It's because half way through making the newest update for Bot Arcade, Fidgit's entire "Games Core" wiped! This deleted the entirety of Bot Arcade and over the last month I've been remaking...ALL of it. Thankfully, I'm almost done wrapping it up ghe new update for it announced in February's Newsletter. I was trying to get it done by March 1st, but no such luck. Expect to see it soon. February's Jackpot is now March's Jackpot. Any entries you earned via Level Ups and Bump Battles from the last month count for March as well!

Game Nights!

Expect to see staff members hosting Game Nights every week (or every other week). Come hangout and mess around with your fellow nova-nauts. We will always host either minecraft or free games for everyone to play! No big requirements, or big bombastic announcements...just come by if you're bored and vibe!

Our powers combined!

MvM Alpha testing is well underway (as I'm sure you've seen the whitelistings) Don't worry, you'll all be able to access MvM early come June via becoming a Rocketeer. But as we've been devoting more and more resources into MvM's development we realized something....Nova Games isn't getting too much of the love. And then we realized something else...we don't exactly want to divert resources into Nova Games...because why not just bring Nova Games INTO MvM. Yep, you heard that right. As MvM progress towards it's full release, expect to see certain Nova Games added into the MvM Hub world. These games will act as something to do in between downtime...or if you're bored and want to kill some time! We don't have all the details just yet for you, but going forward Nova Games as it's own seperate server will cease to exist. In the Future, you can take a trip on the main elevator inside of MvM's Hub world to go to the Gaming District...and you're favorite Nova Games will be there in all their glory...(with an MvM art theme slapped onto them all).

Calling all assistants!

Once fidgit settles down, you'll also see the full launch of the Assistant program announced last month. As a refresher, Assistants are like helpers in other servers. You're essentially a trusted community member that can help on our various projects with building and the occasional testing of content! There's very little expectations when it comes to being an Assistant, simply come try to help whenever you can and follow the rules. Perfect for those who love to build or want to help Supernova...but might not have the easiest of schedules! The application for Nova Assistants will be rolling out in a week or two. Once you hit level 20, you'll be able to apply!

A new adventure begins!

Amplifi3d Adv3ntur3 will be returning! Back in the early days of Supernova, Amp would stream his Minecraft world and chat with the community. This happened weekly, and was always a good time to vibe out with fellow members...while watching Amp absolutely suck at Minecraft survival. The new series will follow Amp in a hardcore survival world, with multiple game enhancing add-ons enabled. Make sure to look out for the viewer/attendee ping to see when the stream starts! Feeling Romantical?

It's February or something yall. Is that strong scent love in the air? Who am I kidding! This is Supernova, that smell is definitely yall! Hygiene has never been a specialty of ours, but you know what is?

Monthly Newsletter's about our goofy little Minecraft Discord Server. We got new channels, Two new ways to support Supernova, and a Bot Arcade update! So enough preamble, I'll get into the details and hopefully your stinky @#$% will get in the shower!

Who let this happen?

First up! Nova Scrolls. Unfortunately this isn't the collab between MvM and Elder Scrolls that you have all been asking for...Todd Howard won't pickup my calls. After the (highly exaggerated) tragic taking away and subsequent return of TikTok(14 hours btw) hit our Nova-Nauts, we floated the idea around of having an area for folks to purely post their funny shorts, clips, reels, and what have in a sort of "Nova Gallery" system!

"But Amp you moron!" you say "What about Mess Hall". Mess Hall is our off topic spam channel that just happens to allow memes. Nova Scrolls will focus entirely on the meme part. It's a F.Y.P desgined entirely by your fellow Nova-Nauts(because that can't go wrong). Our rules still apply, and no texting inside of the channel, just posting memes like you'd post Art inside of Nova Gallery. Because memes are their own form of (sh)art am I right? So go forth, and spew as much short form media into the newest hub for doom scrolling and brainrot. (You'll need to be Level 10 to post inside of Nova Scrolls).

Get your hard hats on!

Secondly, looking to help out on our minecraft servers from time to time? Maybe a fulltime staff position seems to challenging right now? Consider becoming a Nova Assistant!

Assistants are like helpers in other servers. You're essentially a trusted community member that can help on our various projects with building and the occasional testing of content! There's very little expectations when it comes to being an Assistant, simply come try to help whenever you can and follow the rules. Thirdly, It's time roll out our new and improved Rocketeer system. We've condensed all three of the Rocketeer Tiers into one simple and affordable tier. It's never been simpler to support Supernova Network! The price has been reduced to 4.99 USD$ and offers a variety of perks that weren't present in the older system. All proceeds go directly back into Supernova Network!

We've even put early access to MvM: Origins via the Closed Beta coming in June! Ontop of the limited time cosmetics and getting your name engraved inside the Hall of Heroes! Finally, we end this Newsletter with info about the February Bot Arcade update. This month's Jackpot is either 20$ Steam Gift Card...OR 20$ inside the Discord Profile shop! To help throw some chaos into the Jackpot, we have a new features hitting the Arcade. You'll get the full patch notes once Bot Arcade is back online for maintenance (3-5 days). But here's the highlights, Vortex's can now be purchased in the shop. Golden Powerups and Traps have found their way into the Mystery Box. Look out! These gilded gadgets pack some crazy powers and effects. The Jester is active and looking to cause mayhem! Every nova-naut will also get a Backpack! You can now buy and store certain items from the shop for later use!

2025 is here!

Happy New Year Nova-Nauts! 2025 is here! Resolutions are being made, forgotten, and broken! Here at Supernova, we are doing the same thing. You know the drill, I vow that the staff team will bathe regularly and be brought up to the third grade reading level...and without fail, 90% of the team can't even make that happen. But one Resolution we aren't breaking, is making sure 2025 blows 2024 out of the water in terms of entertainment. So let's get started!

Got any games on your Discord?

First up! Want to know what the PS5 and Supernova have in common? They both don't have any f@amp;#! games! Supernova Network hates to be compared to inferior hardware! So we decided out of pure spite to roll out a Server within the next 24 hours. That Server is Aviscraft: Season 4! (Not like the avis team hasn't spent the last few months pouring love into it or anything)

In all seriousness though, Aviscraft returns! The Bedrock/Java Crossplay staple of Supernova (and only server available in 2024) has made it's long awaited return. Enjoy the prime example of a simple and less chaotic form of Supernova game. Looking to get your 2 week Minecraft fix in? Maybe your looking to get more intouch with the community? XP, Permissions, and Chroma Stars

Next up, let's talk Discord Levels and Permissions. We looked at the current system of XP and Permissions being locked behind the coin shop. We said screw it and took a hammer (from Ruby) to it all! We've reworked how Permission Cards, Chroma Stars, and more work inside the Discord! So let's break it down.

All of these features are now gained simply via leveling up! No more grinding in the Bot Arcade for them, nova-nauts will automatically be given these features as they rank up. We want to reward our active members with meaningful privileges and features. Listed below, are the features you unlock at various levels!

Level 1 - Advertising
Level 10 - Embeds/Uploads/Streams
Level 20 - External Emojis and Sounds
Level 30 - Send Voice Messages
Level 40 - Edit your Nickname
Level 50 - Chroma Star (Role colors)
Level 60 - Minor XP Gem
Level 70 - Medium XP Gem
Level 80 - Major XP Gem
Level 90 - Mega XP Gem
Level 100 - Master XP Gem
Boosting the Discord server will automatically give you all of these features while your boost is active!
All of these features will be rolling out over the next few days. So bear with us while we get it all up and running.

If you're a member who's already past these levels and do not have the various permissions. Please open a Moderator ticket and ask to have your Level Perms evaluated.

But wait? what happens to the Bot Arcade shop now that coins no longer have a purpose...well don't worry your little gambling head. Alfonzo and Myself have been hard at work cooking up a massive update to the Bot Arcade!

Bot Arcade 2.0: Gamble harder

Introducing Bot Arcade 2.0! The Mystery Box has taken off as one of the best forms of entertainment we put inside the Bot Arcade, so we've reworked the Coins/Shop and Boxes all to fit a better experience. The Boxes have been overhauled, with easier to understand items and mechanics. Try to find as many Tickets and powerups as possible! But beware of Hazards and Traps set by other players!

But that's not all, Coins and the shop are dedicated 100% to the Monthly Jackpot. Purchase Items, Powerups, and even Traps! Directly from the shop! Grind Coins in the classic games to purchase Traps to use against others! Or, maybe buff yourself up with a few powerups! Maybe your feeling Mischievous and purchase a Box of Mayhem! All thrill and no skill is the name of the game!

The Bot Arcade is currently closed as we finish up 2.0. But you'll get a Bulletin Reader ping when it opens back up soon! I'd recommend keeping your eyes peeled...there's 200$ on the line!

Santa Shyne is pleased!

She made her list, she checked it twice and she made everyone do a goofy amount of challenges for some cookies. Make sure to check the Discussion Hub thread to see who made the Nice list and earned the Cookie-naut Role! As well as seeing how many Diamond Entries you racked up!!!

Jumbo Jackpot

Fidgit had an oopsie, The November jackpot was tracked improperly! So we decided to combine the Jackpot (and all of your entries) with Decembers! Meaning there's 150$ on the line this month! So crack open those Mystery Boxes!

The resident super Brit rreturns from his hiatus, and takes the mantle of Nova Mod once more! Is this good news? or bad news? I'll let you be the judge of that. Just know that Ruby isn't the only creature Lurking the server with a hammer anymore. Welcome back to the team Alfy!

Color me impressed!

Fidgit was thinking the server could use some more Color! He used what little bit of R.G.Btonium we had left to modify thr Super Chroma Star, and add 7 new Colors! 5 of which were made by our community members. Two from Ruby, 1 from Mitz, 1 from Adrenaline, and 1 from Saltsavor! Not too sure where we can find more R.G.Btonium though, maybe there's some sort of untapped reservoir somewhere? Hell, if there was even such a thing we would probably need to drill to reach something that deep. But yall don't care about that. I'm sure new colors ain't that important to folks!

Jackpot Additions

Just because I can, and you can't stop me. I've added New Traps, Powerups, and other items to the Mysterybox. I'm not going to tell you about a single item. You'll have to find out for yourself!

Finally, expect to see those two other release date trailers promised during Supernovamber as well as the two remaining Nova Legend announcements. If you didn't know, last month I got pretty injured from a chemical mishap at work causing alot of damage to my lungs and airways. I'm alright now, but that really slowed me down and delayed alot of those things. (I know, quit being a big ol baby Amp) But I'm back up and at it and unfortunately for most of you...I've made a full recovery

1 Year of Newsletters

It's been one trip around the Sun since we switched to Monthly Newsletter's! They've always been on time! 100% of the time! Anyone who says otherwise will be sent to the Cosmo Caverns and taught Java Script against their will. So keep running your mouth Nova-nauts, and you may very will be the poor bastards forced to make MvM. Truly a fate worse than death. But let's get to the big business, it's Supernovember! What do we have in store?

First up, Legendary Nerds!

We got 3 people going into Nova Legends this month. Not spoiling who they are, but all three of them rhyme with "Shamlifed Haos". Just kidding, but three more Legends will be crowned every Friday for the next 3 fridays to see who joins the ranks with Alfy, Hedgehog, and Cosmo. (Note: For now, Admins are exempt from this)

Y'all got any games on your phone?

Oh, another reason to check back every Friday is that we will be announcing the release dates of 3 of our Servers in 2024. What servers are they? No clue, but probably the ones that have something to do with Minecraft.

We know 2024 has been lackluster in terms of overall server activity. Aviscraft and the wonderful team behind it held Supernova up on their own while we re-geared and toiled away on the rest of our projects. We are gearing up for 2025 with the idea of "Go big, or go home". But enough of me yapping about "what games" are coming. Actions speak louder than words, so sit back and watch what we do, the teams are cooking...and we got one hell of a buffet headed your way.

Color me impressed!

A new Chroma-star forged by Ruby has been added. Check out **Clover Green** which will drop this weekend! Speaking of Chroma-stars! It's time to add some new ones! Introducing the newest event "Chroma Clash". Really original name I know. Simply put, come up with one color you'd like to add to the Super Chroma Star! Find a Hex Code you'd like, and get a picture of it. Submit it into the "Chroma-Clash" event thread in Discussion Hub, give it a cool name and description! Then, our community can vote via reacting with Star Medallions. Every Friday, we will add up to 3 Chroma Stars!

So get cooking on an idea for a role color you'd like to see in Supernova! Submissions our open now!

But still you keep on supporting Supernova and helping me push towards the visions and ideas I have for our goofy little slice of the internet we call home. You mean the world to me even though I'll never ever admit to it directly. (I do have an asshole persona to uphold) Making games, leading a team of badass nerds, and running the community we know as Supernova Network will always be the highlight of my day. Spooky Season!

It's time for Spookynova! The whole server is getting properly Spooky and we are working hard to clean up some of the dookie! (Thanks for the mess btw Mitz)

This Newsletter brings new Mystery Box and Goodie Bag changes, Champion Changes, and the return of the Spooky Candy event. It's a pretty simple newsletter...or is it???? (it is)

Champion changes

For awhile now, We've been meaning to streamline Champions. The amount of strain they put on Fidgit to track isn't something we'd like to continue, and we'd like to keep it simple and easy to grasp!

We've removed Greetlord and Bumplord as these aren't things we feel like should be something worthy of Championship status.

What about Bump Battle? isn't it's whole purpose...well to be a battle? Of course! That's, why every successful Bump you get will now reward you with 5 Entries into the Monthly Jackpot! This introduces yet another avenue into winning the Jackpot!

Jackpot Changes and Improvements

Mysterybox has been very popular! So we are going to continue adding onto it and making it more exciting. We wanted to add more chances at getting entries, as last month we noticed there was a large amount of members who barely scraped up 10 or so entries. We've added a few ways to secure more entries consistently...while also adding absolutely devastating Traps!

Here's a list of the Major Changes!

• Jackpot Rewards will always have some sort of Monetary reward, prices will vary
• Mysterybox now contains even more tickets with even higher amounts of entries in them. All they way up to 100!
• Diamond Tickets can be found, which give you Diamond Entries! These can't be lost or destroyed for the duration of the Month!
• You now get Tickets for Leveling up!
• Bombs now destroy 20 Entries from their victim. They also delete 5 Entries from anyone who's used a Goodie Bag, Mini-Box, or Mystery Box in the last 2 hours.
• Mega Nukes now destroy 100 Entries from their victim. They also delete 10 Entries from anyone who's used a Goodie Bag, Mini-Box, or Mystery Box in the last 4 hours.
• You can find anywhere from 5-500 Entries inside of the Mysterybox
• Increased the amount of Entries Some Powerups give.
• New Powerups, Traps, and items will slowly appear throughout the month.
• Goodie Bags now can contain up to 15 Tickets, and have a rare chance of dropping a Diamond Ticket.
• Added a new box known as the "Mini-box" This minibox can be claimed every 5 minutes and contains small amounts of Tickets, Bricks, Bats, Active Bombs, and Bandits! Use the command by typing !minibox
• Added Bricks and Bats. These naturally spawn in Mini-Boxes and Mystery Boxes. They are similar to Bandits!
• Added Box o' Bombs, Chaotic Bombardment, and Bat Swarm.
• Added the Infernal Vortex Trap. You'll see what that does.
• This Month's Jackpot is 25$ USD

Celebrate your Birthday!

Using Fidgit's new Birthday Command, You'll be able to celebrate your special day! If you use the command, you'll be given a special Birthday role during your...well Birthday! This will give you 200% XP gains for the day, as well as give a special shoutout to everyone in Global chat letting them know it's time to wish you a happy birthday (or bully you)

Use the /remember-birthday command via Fidgit to get setup.

Spooky Candy Event

As the week of Halloween approaches, expect the return of the Spooky Candy event to cast its shadow across Supernova. Go Virtual Trick or Treating in an attempt to earn (or re-earn) the Spooky-Naut limited time Role!

That's when Supernova Network was made! Our community is almost 3 years old! Now our little slice of the internet may not be perfect, but we have come a long way since Jedi, Cosmo, Challenger, and Myself joined forces and made Supernova! So it's time to celebrate!

3rd Amp-iversary Art-Bash

Just like last year! A new Art-Bash to celebrate Supernova's birthday. The theme is Supernova's 3rd Birthday. Make it Supernova themed and include something related to its 3rd Birthday! Want more info? Check the Event Center for the rewards and more!

The Golden Cake Returns!

Want to show-off that you were here for the 3rd Amp-iversary? You can snag the "3rd Amp-iversary Nova-Naut" role by finding the rare Golden Cake inside the Mystery Box before October 1st. Wait...what the heck is a Mystery Box?

The Mystery Box

The Jackpot commands have been completely overhauled...and replaced with the much crazier Mystery Box! Every 15 minutes you'll be able to compete to Open the Mystery Box! This magical box is filled with Tickets, Powerups, and Traps! Compete and cause mayhem to collect as many Tickets as possible. Use the command !mysterybox to open it! (Mystery Box Command will be functioning Saturday September 7th 1:00pm EST)

Oh, and this month's reward? 50$ USD (or digital equivalent) for whoever gets the jackpot...so go crazy. Because it's always fun to spend Amp's money right?

Aviscraft Season 3 is ending!

Aviscraft S3, many Nova-nauts home is coming to a close October 26th! So keep an eye out for the final set of events that look to celebrate a year well spent in our favorite Feathery Abode...and I'd recommend finishing your builds...I heard the best may get some sort of cash prizes in some kind of Event! But what do I know?

Keep your eyes glued to the Avis Announcement center for more information from the Avis Staff Team! And yes before you ask...there will be a Season 4! (If the Mob Armada doesn't destroy it beforehand😉)

• Developer applications have closed for the time being
• Nova Creator rollout role has been pushed back to a later date
• Rocketeer/Donator shop is being shutdown to be reworked into a more affordable and supportive system.

July and August's Newsletter combined into one! We have alot to go over, so let's get into it. It's overhaul August time y'all!

-Week 1-

Each week we are overhauling specific areas of Supernova Network. These focus on cleaning up the user experience and prepping for future expansion plans (here's a hint it rhymes with Schmova Games and Fivers vs Fobs)

Ontop of that, we want to lay down the ground work for more engaging discord events and activities. You know, if only there was a role dedicated to server activities and events...oh wait there is! It's Chaperone...and 3 apprentices just graduated!

Ghost, JH, and Floppa have all passed their Apprenticeships! You'll see them helping out in events, or just keeping the peace in Global! Congratulations you three!

But that's not the only promotion happening In Week 1...

Cosmonaut becomes an Admin!

You know, that really Spooky founder that we leave locked away in a Cave to run Nova Games and work on MvM? Yeah he finally crawled out of his cave and pronounced his first words! We don't know what the noises he made meant, but we assume he said "My dearest compatriots, I have the utmost interest in assisting the administrative team in high level decisions. Please, allow me to propel this dear community into new heights"

He also attacked Jedi without hesitation, but that's par for the course. Pray for Jedi's speedy recovery. Cosmo-rabies is quite lethal.

Welcome Cosmonaut to the Admin team, the peak of stink inside of Supernova! Congratulations!

Champion Roles

Weekly Champion roles have been remade into Monthly Champion roles!

Now, players will compete to earn Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond every month inside of Four Categories

Only achieving Diamond at the end of the month will get you the Champion reward. Champion Achievements, Rewards, and XP have all been reworked/boosted. Ace and Gambler have been deleted however, as their formats didn't fit will with this new system.

So start competing! Fidgit is already tracking your progress!

Jackpot is getting a visual overhaul as well!

Bannerlord and Royal Nova-naut are not considered Champion roles, and will not be affected by this change.

Starting Tomorrow, The Aviscraft Job Post Event begins! Learn more by stopping by the Announcements thread inside the Avis Info Hub!

Channel Reworks

A few channels have been combined/deleted.

• Rocket Network merged with Supernova TV
• Bot commands merged with Bot Arcade
• Squad Center has been deleted
• Bump Battle moved to Text Chat Category
• Star Exhibit moved to Community Category
• Voting booth moved to Bulletin Board

-Week 2 & 3-

Expect overhauls to Staff Info and more importantly...Extra Info! There is alot of random things, mechanics, history, and etc. that exists in Supernova...wouldn't it be nice if we had a channel that listed out how to get specific permissions, how the Arcade works, why Nugz is bald and more? As we grow, we want the extra info tab to be as in depth as possible for all of our Nova Nauts! New and Old! (Especially old in Nugz case)

-Week 4-

Continued Improvements to the Server will launch during week 4, as well as the Flags of Fortune Event! . The 3 biggest features will be the Revamped Squad Center, Ping Roles, and an all new Collaboration!

Nova Creators arrive!

Coming in week 4, A new way for our aspiring creators to promote themselves will appear. From youtube, twitch, art, or whatever they create...Nova Creators can count on their content being shown off by Supernova! More details will follow once this all launches!
