Whether Toyota Hilux is a good definition does not depend on whether it is a good driver or its mpg, but whether it is worthy of the name.

At first glance, it seems that the mod satin is the kind of car you usually do with a low profile. Before the launch this month, some dealers in India have started unofficial bookings. This will be the first major update of the second generation Innova crystal since it was launched in 2016. Since the company has updated Innova crystal's gasoline and diesel engines earlier this year to meet the new BS6 emission standards, the update will be limited to exterior and interior design updates and new technologies.

Exterior and interior update Innova crystal facelift's exterior design changes will see the updated multi slat design of the front grille, new bumpers, artificial skateboards and a new fog lamp housing. The headlamps, while continuing the same design, will now accept LED daytime running lights, while the 16-inch alloy wheels will get a new two tone, diamond cut finish. The design elements at the back will include a black hexagon panel between the taillights and extending towards the license plate. The front of the new Innova crystal has been significantly redesigned with an adjusted black grille and contrasting chrome trim. Then there are the new bumpers that add the essence of motion. The new two-tone alloy wheel, the only one that can be seen from the side, adds a vitality. There is also a black plastic strip on the tail door to break visual quality.

The interior has a seating arrangement similar to that of the current model. The update is purely on the technical side of infotainment and the new dashboard. The new 9.0-inch touch screen system supports both Android auto and Apple CarPlay.

The new Innova also receives a built-in air purifier, although this is reserved for the higher variants. It will also be equipped with a 360-degree camera, and other security features include cruise control, keyless entry and seven airbags. Engine specifications in Indonesia, 2021 Kijang Innova is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 139 horsepower and a 2.4-liter diesel engine with 149 horsepower. The 2.7-liter gasoline engine provides 166 horsepower and 245 nm torque, while the 2.4-liter diesel engine provides 148 horsepower and 343 nm torque. Both engines are equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and a 6-speed torque converter as an option. The listing date is set for later this month, when prices will be announced. However, this update is likely to make Innova even more expensive, it is estimated that the price of the new Innova crystal cosmetic surgery is about 50,000 rupees, and the current price is between 156,600 and 236,300 rupees (excluding SH).
