Bugs is a Korean music platform that counts towards digitals for every music show.

Installation (Android)

Bugs isn't on the Play Store, but you can download the app from APKPure.

Installation (iOS)

Your App Store location must be set to Korea. The easiest way to do this is to go to this link and create a new Apple ID with the country/region set to Korea.

Once you have created a Korean Apple ID, you can open the App Store, sign out of your current Apple ID and sign in to your Korean Apple ID.

Now you can search for Bugs on the App Store or use this link and install the app.

You may need to input your phone number for two-factor authentication.

You can log back in to your old Apple ID after you've installed the app. The app will still be on your device and you'll still be able to use it.

There is also a PC app for Bugs, but we recommend using the web player.

Log In (Mobile)

1. Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner

2. Tap "로그인/회원가입" (Login/Sign Up)

3. Tap "벅스 아이디 또는 이메일로 로그인" (Log in with your Bugs ID or email)

4. Enter the account login info (enter the email address in the top text field and the password in the bottom text field), then tap "저장 및 로그인" (Save and log in)

Log In (PC)

1. In the top right, click "로그인 / 회원가입" (Login/Sign Up)

2. Click "벅스 아이디 또는 이메일로 로그인" (Log in with your Bugs ID or email)

3. Enter the account login info (enter the email address in the top text field and the password in the bottom text field), then click "로그인" (Log in)

If this page pops up after logging in, click "다음에 변경하기" (the longer text option at the bottom)

Setup Before Streaming (Mobile)

Open Settings (설정):

• Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
• Tap "설정" (settings)

Turn off caching:

• In the 설정 page, tap "데이터 요금 절약" (save on data charges)
• Turn OFF "스트리밍 재생 시 캐싱" (caching during streaming playback)

Allow duplicate songs in playlist:

• In the 설정 page, tap "재생" (playback)
• Scroll down to the bottom and turn ON "재생목록 중복 곡 허용" (allow duplicate songs in playlist)

Sound Quality:

• In the 설정 page, tap "음질 및 음향 효과" (sound quality and sound effects)
• Tap "스트리밍 음질" (streaming sound quality)
• Select AAC (128kbps or 320kpbs) for both 5G/LTE and Wi-Fi

If you are using iOS, you are done and can tap "닫기" (close) in the top right corner.

If you are using Android, tap the top left arrow to go back to the 음질 및 음향 효과 page.

Extra Settings for Android

Download Sound Quality:

• In the 음질 및 음향 효과 page (see above) there should be an option "다운로드 음질" (download sound quality). Tap it and and set to MP3 320kbps.

Disable Audio Focus:

• In the 설정 page, tap "벅스 연구소" (Bugs lab)
• Turn OFF "오디오 포커스" (audio focus).

Setup Before Streaming (PC)

1. At the top on the left-hand side, click "웹 플레이어" (web player)

2. In the bottom right corner, click "설정" (settings)

3. Under 스트리밍 음질 (streaming sound quality), select either AAC 320kbps or AAC 128kpbs

4. Tick the box that says "재생목록 중복 곡 허용" (allow duplicate songs in playlist)

5. Click "확인"

Purchase Streaming Pass (iOS)

1. Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner

2. Tap "이용권 구매" (purchase a pass)

3. Tap the "구매" (purchase) button next to "무제한 듣기 (30일)" (unlimited listening 30 days)

Check Pass Status (Mobile)

Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner and check directly under the account username.

If the account has an active pass, then directly under the account username it will show the pass type (e.g. "무제한 듣기 (30일)", 모바일 무제한 듣기 (30일)") and the date and time the pass runs out (generally in local time)

If this information is not shown under the account username, then there is no active pass.

You can also check if you have an active pass by playing a song and checking the song length. If it shows the entire song duration, then you have an active streaming pass. If it only shows 1 minute, then you do not have an active streaming pass.

Check Pass Status (PC)

Click on your account username in the top right corner.

If the account has an active pass, then you will see the pass type (e.g. "무제한 듣기 (30일)") and below in red the date and time the pass runs out (generally in KST).

If this information is not shown but instead there is a big red button that says "이용권 구매", then there is no active pass.

You can also check if you have an active pass by playing a song and checking the song length. If it shows the entire song duration, then you have an active streaming pass. If it only shows 1 minute, then you do not have an active streaming pass.

Activate Streaming Pass / Download Voucher (Mobile)

This is for those who have bought a streaming pass or download pack from an online seller and the seller has given it to you in the form of a coupon code.

1. Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner

2. Tap "상품권 등록" (gift certificate registration)

3. Enter your coupon code number excluding the "-", then tap the "등록하기" button.

For iOS it will take you to a website to enter the voucher code. You can go back to the Bugs app once you've entered and redeemed the code.

Activate Streaming Pass / Download Voucher (PC)

This is for those who have bought a streaming pass or download pack from an online seller and the seller has given it to you in the form of a coupon code.

1. On the left-hand side menu, click "상품권 등록" (gift certificate registration)

2. Enter your voucher code in the blank spaces, then click the red "등록하기" button

Streaming (Mobile)

Add Song to Playlist:

1. Select the magnifying glass at the bottom and use the search bar at the top to search for the song you want to add

2. Once you have found the song you want to add, tap the 3 dots on the right

3. Tap "재생목록에 추가" (add to playlist)

Open Playlist Editor:

1. Tap the playlist icon in the bottom right corner to open/view playlist

2. Tap "편집" (edit)

Edit Playlist:

• 3 lines on the right: Hold and drag up/down to change the song's position in the playlist order
• Circles on the left: Tap circle to select song. Tap again to de-select.
• "전체선택" (on the left just below the search bar): Select all. Tap again to undo.
• Trash can icon (bottom right corner): Delete selected song(s)
• "완료" (top right corner): Done (saves changes)
• "취소" (top left corner): Cancel (doesn't save changes)

Open/Close Streaming Player:

• Tap the bottom section with the song title to expand player
• Tap the down arrow in the top right corner to minimise player
• Tap the playlist icon in the bottom right corner to open/edit playlist

Streaming Rules/Guidelines:

• Loop ALL
• Shuffle OFF
• Ensure sound quality is either AAC 320k or AAC 128k
• Play the full song from start to finish.
• Do not pause, skip, fast forward or rewind songs.
• You can pause if you're taking a break or changing playlists, but try to only pause filler songs and not the title track/focus song.
• Do not mute your device.
• You can plug in headphones and lower the volume, as long as the volume is still above zero.
• Galaxy users can use Sound Assistant app to reduce Bugs volume to 2-5%
• Tap the heart to like the song
• Check the song duration to make sure it's the full song length.
• If the song length is only 1 minute (like in the below picture), it means that there is no streaming pass activated and your stream won't count.

Streaming (PC)

Add Song to Playlist:

Search for the song you want to add and click the + icon on the right.

Edit Playlist:

• Boxes on the left: Tick box to select song. Click again to de-select.
• Box in the bottom left corner: Tick to select all songs. Click again to de-select
• Up and down arrow buttons at the bottom left: To change playlist order, click the arrow buttons to move selected song(s) up/down. Alternatively, you can click and drag songs up/down.
• "삭제" button at the bottom: Delete selected song(s)

Streaming Rules/Guidelines:

• Loop all songs

• This page lists songs the account has streamed in order from most to least listens. The number listed is the number of times the account has streamed the song.

Download Song (PC)

This download guide is only for those who have bought downloads from online sellers in the form of Bugs Cash or a 5x/10x MP3 download pack. If you bought a song download from us, we will log in to your account and do the download for you.

1. Search for the song you want to download and click the download icon on the right

2. Click "다운로드" (download) - (this is for MP3 download. If you ordered a FLAC download, select the appropriate FLAC option instead)

3. Check that you are downloading the correct song at the correct sound quality (should be "MP3 320kbps, AAC 320kbps" unless you ordered a FLAC download). Then click the orange button "구매하기" (purchase).

4. Click "다운로드" (download). You can close the popup once the file has downloaded.

Check Download History (Mobile)

• Tap "내 음악" (my music) down the bottom in the middle and then select "구매한 음악" (purchased music).
• This page lists songs the account has purchased/downloaded

Check Download History (PC)

• On the left side menu, click "구매한 음악" (purchased music)
• This page lists songs the account has purchased/downloaded

Log Out (Mobile)

1. Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner

2. Tap your account username at the top (or the "내 정보" button next to it)

3. Tap the "로그아웃" (log out) button next to the email address.

Log Out (PC)

Click your account username in the top right corner and then click "로그아웃" (log out) at the bottom right.

Kooky is an app that allows us to win promotional ads and music streams for XLOV.

Installation

Register

1. Choose a registration option

2. Enter your email, click Send, and a verification code will be sent to your email.

3. Enter the code and click Verify, then Continue.

4. Set your password, username (must verify before continuing) and country.

5. Search for and select your favorite artist. You can choose multiple.

6. Complete your profile by adding your gender and birthday. This step is optional, but we recommend doing it because it will earn you 100 Kookys.

🔸 Daily Check-In

In the My section, click Claim + next to the heading Check-in. On the first day, you will get 10 Kookys. The amount of Kookys you get will increase for each consecutive day until day 10. After 10 days, attendance will give you 50 Kookys.

🔸 Watch Video Ads

In the My section, click the Watch video ads button.

🔸 Community Visit

At the top of the Home page you will see a Feed section with your favorite artists listed. Tap on any artist to visit their community. This gives you 7 Kookys per day.

🔸 Like a Community Post

When visiting a community page, scroll down to see posts. Tap the heart to like a post. This gives you 10 Kookys per day.

🔸 Liking Kooky Content

Living a Kooky content post gives 10 Kookys per day. Kooky content includes voting polls and articles.

• To like a voting poll, select any poll in the Vote section -> Polls tab and tap the heart in the bottom left corner to like.

• To like a Kooky article, select any banner on the Home page and tap the heart in the bottom left corner to like.

Note that the daily 10 Kookys will only be given for 1 like, either for a poll or an article. Liking two contents in the same day will not give you more Kookys.

🔸 Spotify Save & Follow

Do the following to get 100 Kookys:

• Save the KOOKY Weekly K-POP Playlist on Spotify (link) and take a screenshot showing that you have saved the playlist.
• Follow the Kooky Official Spotify account and take a screenshot showing that you are following.
• Fill out and submit this form.

🔸 Leave an App Review

You can earn 200 Kooky for every app review you make on the App Store or Play Store.

You must take a screenshot of your review that contains the date (or time) and fill out and submit this form.

• Rewards will only be granted if the submission date of the review matches the date captured in the screenshot.
• If you delete your reviews, you may not receive compensation.
• In cases where Kooky cannot verify reviews on the App Store/Play Store, compensation may not be provided.

🔸 Vote in a Ranking/Free Vote

In the Vote section, participate in any vote that has the Free Vote tag to earn 10 Kookys (only once per day). Guide on how to vote will be in the next section.

If XLOV are not nominated for any Free Vote polls, you can vote for a random artist so that you can still earn the daily reward.

🔸 Vote in a Poll

In the Vote section, if you vote on a poll that has the Kooky Vote tag with 10 or more Kookys at once, you will get 10 Kookys back (only once per day). Guide on how to vote will be in the next section.

How to Vote

Preliminary voting rounds take place in the Ranking tab, and final votes take place in the Polls tab.

Ranking/Free Vote

• Go to the Vote section at the bottom and select a poll that has the tag Free Vote.
• Choose the poll you want to vote for. (You can toggle My artists so that it only shows polls where your artists are nominated)

• Find XLOV or an XLOV member. You can go to My artists to only display your artists.
• Press the 5 Votes button

• Tap the tick to cast your vote.

Polls

• Go to the Vote section at the bottom and search for polls that have the Kooky Vote tag.
• Choose the poll you want to vote for. (You can toggle My artists so that it only shows polls where your artists are nominated)
• Select XLOV or an XLOV member and tap Vote.
• Enter the amount of votes you want to cast and tap Vote. If you vote with 10 or more Kookys at once, you will earn 10 Kookys back (only once per day).

Streaming Fundraiser

• Go to the Funding section at the bottom.
• You can toggle My artists to only display fundraisers for your artists.
• Select an open XLOV streaming fund (e.g. Melon Streaming) and press the Contribute button.
• Enter the amount you want to contribute and press the Contribute button.

Korean Music Platforms (Melon, Genie, Flo, Vibe, Bugs)

The best way to help with digitals is to stream and download XLOV's promoted song on Korean music platforms.

In order to stream and download on Korean music platforms you need a verified account and streaming pass. The creation of a verified account requires a Korean phone number and for some music platforms a Korean payment method is required to download songs or purchase a streaming pass.

Streaming on Korean music platforms is easier than global platforms. You can just create a song list (fanbases will provide) and have it on loop 24/7.

DuckAd

Sponsoring Streams
DuckAd is a voting app that offers a unique way of collecting currency: streaming songs.

Stationhead is an app where users with Spotify Premium or Apple Music Premium can connect their accounts and listen to music together.

It is a great resource if you don't have time to create streaming playlists, if you are unsure about whether you are streaming properly or if you want to stream while hanging out with fellow EVOL.

All you need to do is connect your Spotify or Apple Music Premium account, join a station and let the DJ stream for you.

Регистрация

1. Выберите удобный для Вас способ регистрации (Facebook, Kakao, Google).

2. Придумайте ник (после ввода нажмите кнопку Check duplicates), введите дату рождения, пол.

3. Выберите XLOV в качестве My Star. Для этого нажмите на ➕, в поисковой строке введите название группы, добавьте XLOV по кнопке Select complete.

4. Поставьте ✅ напротив обязательных полей и нажмите Done.

Валюта

• Pink Jam — Донатная валюта. Неограниченный срок хранения.
• Blue Jam — Бесплатная валюта. Срок хранения: исчезают 15-го числа месяца, а также в последний день месяца в 18:00 (по мск).

🔸 Attendance check

На странице My Page (значок 👤) нажмите кнопки Attendance check ➡ 💚click для того, чтобы получить отметку за вход.

Чем выше уровень аккаунта, тем больше Blue Jam Вы получите:

🔸 20-й день ежедневных отметок

На 20-ый день ежедневных отметок подряд Вам начисляются 800 Blue Jam. 20 отметок будет засчитано, только если они были сделаны в один месяц, т.е. не часть в одном месяце, а часть в другом.

🔸 Награда за повышение уровня

Для повышения уровня необходимо тратить валюту (Pink Jam и Blue Jam) в голосованиях.

1 Pink Jam = 2 голоса, 1 Blue Jam = 1 голос

Чем выше ранг, тем больше Blue Jam Вы будет получать за само повышение уровня.

🔸 Просмотр рекламы

На просмотр доступны рекламы, за которые выдаётся разное количество Blue Jam.

Перейдите в раздел Store ➡ Blue Jam. Выберите одну из категорий, нажмите кнопку Watch под видео, выполните условия просмотра (20-30 с), вернитесь на страницу приложения и заберите награду либо по кнопке Get reward, а затем confirm, либо сразу confirm.

🔸 Участие в миссиях

• На странице My Page зайдите в раздел Quest. Каждый день доступно по 3 миссии. После выполнения нажмите на кнопку подарка, чтобы забрать награду.

• Перейдите в раздел Store ➡ Blue Jam. Откройте страницу со списком игр по кнопке Mission participate. Награда будет выдана только после выполнения всех условий.

• Перейдите в раздел Store ➡ Item. Бесплатно Вы можете открыть 1 Random Box в сутки.

Голосование

В голосовании D Awards 2026 используются как Pink Jam, так и Blue Jam.

1. Перейдите во вкладку Vote page.
2. Выберите голосование [Semi Final] Best Rising Star (Boy).
3. Нажмите на кнопку с сердечком напротив XLOV.
4. Введите нужное количество голосов и нажмите Confirm.

Registration

2. Then click the Login button.

3. Choose a suitable registration method.

4. If registering via Google, fill in the required fields: email address, your nickname, country — as shown in the image below.

Getting Stars

Stars are used as the platform currency.

1. Go to the menu and select the Store tab.

2. In the Attendance section, click on the corresponding day. This confirms your login, and you receive stars.
