Site project manager в Baker Hughes
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set and achieve goals that are compatible with the business goals of the organization
- Drive implementation of risk management and opportunities in the business
- Plan and implement projects at various customer work sites in Russia and CIS countries, including the activities of staff and subcontractors
- Translate customer needs / requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets
- Primary customer contact for the duration of each project. May commission, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with staff as appropriate
- Respond to call-out type repair requests from customers
- Manage a varied staff that will include employees, customers, partner companies, supply companies or subcontractors
- Manage a network of resources (including contractors) in support of project execution.
- Manage the project budget and timeline and ensure the resources are available to complete the project within budget and on time in order to meet customer obligations
- Support activities at customer sites related to different project phases (design, execution, closure)
- Participate in the development of proposals for projects, pre-sales and sales support
- Provide site surveys, support documentation creation/correction for customers tendering process
- Close work with company soursing department to define the bets suppliers, contractors
- Take part in the writing of reports that describe the results of a project
- Ensure that delivered products and services achieve highest quality and performance levels
- Identify opportunities to expand the project in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy our profitability requirements
- Lead the regional implementation of New Product Introductions (NPI) and take actions necessary to expand existing product lines and grow the business through development of new products and services
- Negotiate change orders with the customers
- Professionally represent company during all customer communications
Essential Qualifications/Competencies :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technical discipline
- At least 5+ year of experience in a project management, engineering, field services/services and/or manufacturing role
- At least 3+ years of project management experience working in a lead capacity implementing projects in a field environment
- Experience in condition monitoring and rotating equipment will be a plus
Desired Characteristics/Skills/Knowledge
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Project management skills and capabilities
- Basic knowledge of SAP reporting and management
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Experience managing effectively in a dynamic and fast–paced environment
- Availability to travel up to 75% of working time
- Availability to travel on short notice
- Fluent in English
