What you’ll be doing:

Reflecting on all types of accomplished business transactions in the local accounting software, including v tax classification.
Working with the corporate and local accounting databases (SAP/1C).
Coordinating with the outsourcing providers.
Focusing on AP/AR, contracts verification, expense reports and marketing reports, bank, supporting during the audit, assistance in other areas of accounting.
Participating in the monthly closing activities as per the US and RU GAAP.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international accounting and tax requirements, corporate and local policies and procedures.
Working on electronic finance documents archive.
Checking new RU suppliers for reliability in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the local tax authorities.
Coordinating of activities with other teams on behalf of the finance group.
Participating in corporate projects, suggesting ways for improving current processes.
Monitoring changes in the legislation and implementing them to the operation of the company.
Preparation for and filing the documents to the Finance Archive of NV Russia.
Supporting the Head of the Finance Department in different matters within their competence.

What we need to see:

University degree in either Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a similar position in Accounting for 3-6+ years, preferably in international companies (experience in the IT industry will be an advantage).
Deep knowledge of accounting and tax legislation.
Experience in regular interaction with suppliers, outsourcing partners.
Experience of work with highly confidential information.
Good knowledge of 1C (experience in SAP will be an advantage).
Fluent English is a must (excellent skills of verbal and written communication).
Advanced MS Office user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with the modern accounting applications.
Data accuracy, business acumen, and business partnership mindset.
Readiness to work independently without constant supervision in a dynamic, growing company, self-propelling with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads, a good sense of responsibility and etiquette, strong self- and time management, proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
