How to connect a raspberry to the Internet using an external WIFI adapter?

Connect to the IPARMOR network

Open a terminal

On Windows

win+R

Write in the window

cmd

Press Enter

On the MacBook

Open Finder and open the "Terminal" app

On Linux

Ctrl+Alt+T

Connect to Raspberry via ssh

Via Terminal

ssh [email protected]

Pass

raspberry

Через Putty

Click "Open"

A window will open and write there

and write your password

Write further

cd rtl8812au/
sudo make dkms_remove
make clean
sudo make dkms_install

Wait a little and in the end you should see

If you haven't seen it, do it all over again

Next, take the adapter and insert it into the blue port (usb 3.0)

Then go to http://192.168.44.1:3000/system (Settings tab)


In the list of usb adapters opposite yours, select "External WI-FI adapter"

Click on the "SAVE" button

Reboot the raspberry

Reconnect to the "IPARMOR" network

Then go here http://192.168.44.1:3000/networks/wlan0 ("WI-FI" tab)

Click on the "EXTERNAL WI-FI ADAPTER" button

Connect to the desired network
