How to set up DNS for Socks
To get started, go here http://192.168.44.1:3000/dns
Click the buttons below Save Setting, Flush Cache
Option 1(DNS from socks):
On the SOCKS page, click on "Default Settings" in the "Technitium DNS settings" window
Choose "Auto-connect ISP + GEO [Use local ip]"
Even if it gives an error, check the DNS and the Internet
Option 2(DNS from socks):
On the SOCKS page, click on "Auto-connect ISP + GEO [Use current proxy]" in the "Technitium DNS settings" window
Select "Auto-connect ISP + GEO [Use current proxy]"
Even if it gives an error, check the DNS and the Internet
Option 3(DNS from GOOGLE):
On the SOCKS page, click on "Auto-connect ISP + GEO [Use current proxy]" in the "Technitium DNS settings" window
Select "Auto-connect GEO GOOGLE"
Even if it gives an error, check the DNS and the Internet
Option 4(custom DNS):
On the SOCKS page, click on "Default Settings" in the "Technitium DNS settings" window
Select "Auto-connect ISP + GEO [Use local ip]"
Next come here http://192.168.44.1:3000/dns
Tab "Settings" -> "Proxy & Forwarders"
Proxy settings should be like this:
In the "Forwarders" field write your DNS which you want to use in my case it is 1.1.1.1
"Forwarders Protocol" select "DNS-over-TCP"
Click the Save Setting, Flush Cache buttons at the bottom
