Where to find funding for a crypto project? Aleo grants program
I’ve touched on the topic of financing crypto-projects before. If you have an idea, but no money, it will be difficult to implement it. But there is always a way out of the situation.
Today we are seeing a significant increase in the number of Web3 projects in development, although market conditions are not the best. In addition, there are not many Web3 developers, so their services are not cheap. What are the reasons for this growth?
As we know, big ecosystem projects with good ideas find funding from big foundations. And it is easier for them. It is more difficult for small projects that are built on their basis. That’s why very often foundations or grant programs are created for ecosystem development. Such financing helps small projects find money and start development.
Today I want to talk about one such program of the Aleo project. Aleo is the first full-featured private application development platform (with zero-knowledge) with speed, integrity, and scalability. Aleo achieves this by using decentralized systems and zero-knowledge cryptography to protect user data on the Internet. Aleo uses technology called zero-knowledge cryptography to implement a new paradigm known as decentralized private computing or zkCloud . Aleo also provides a full suite of tools for the developer.
Who can be a participant in this program? Whether you’re an experienced developer who wants to create an app on Aleo, a designer who wants to create interactive tutorials for Aleo products, or just an online privacy advocate who would like to help create marketing materials, you have the opportunity to get a grant. So this program is not just for developers.
Aleo has allocated $1 million from its treasury for this initial program. This funding will be divided into four categories of grants, determined by the size of the contribution (see below).
For these grant categories, a set of benchmark applications will be created to demonstrate Aleo’s capabilities.
There are four specific uses, as well as a fifth category for applicants who would like to submit their own. Funding of $1 million will be distributed evenly among each of these use cases (see below).
In addition to the money you will receive from the grant, you will also be assigned a reputation score based on the quality of the project you implemented. This reputation score identifies you as a key player in the Aleo ecosystem and will be used for future rewards and/or benefits.
To apply for a grant, you must complete and submit an Aleo Grants application.
All applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and evaluated weekly by a review committee. If you are selected, you will be contacted by the Aleo Grants Program Manager to discuss payment options and next steps.
