Axelar Great Reveiw (English version)
In this article, we will consider the sensational project Axelar, which recently opened an interesting ambassadorial program and draw conclusions on the project. There will be no complex analysis of tokenomics, and some other complex concepts (sorry, my ICQ is above average). Let's consider the main essence of the project and its main positive aspects, as well as ask questions that arise when getting to know Axelar.
Introducing the Axelar network (welcome to the club, buddy)
First of all, let's consider the main essence of the project and highlight those key points that we will rely on in the course of the story.
Let's start with the official site. For the time being, I'd say it's more like a blog, so let's get to the core of the project.
Axelar is being developed to enable applications to seamlessly interoperate in blockchain ecosystems. The Axelar stack provides a decentralized network, protocols, tools, and APIs that enable easy communication between chains. The Axelar protocol suite consists of cross-border routing and forwarding protocols.
The Axelar Network is a scalable cross-chain communications platform. Connectivity platform builders can use the network to seamlessly connect their sensors to all other sensor ecosystems.
Application developers can choose the best blockchain to host their applications and use Axelar's cross-chain communication protocols to lock, unlock and transfer assets, as well as communicate with applications on any other chain. By connecting decentralized applications to multiple blockchain ecosystems, the Axelar platform allows users to interact with all applications in the ecosystem directly from their wallets.
Everything is great, we took this information here.
- A decentralized open network of validators keeps the network running; anyone can join, use it and participate;
- Byzantine consensus;
- The cryptography and incentive mechanisms are designed to achieve the high security and survivability requirements unique to cross-chain requests.
The Axelar network provides a single interconnection solution that meets the needs of platform developers - no integration work is required from them, and one simple protocol and API for application developers to access global liquidity and communicate with the entire ecosystem.
How does it work?
Validators collectively run the Byzantine consensus protocol and run protocols that facilitate cross-chain requests. Anyone can join the network, participate and use it.
The underlying network is optimized for the high security requirements unique to cross-chain requests. The Axelar network also includes a set of protocols and APIs. The main protocols are:
• Gateway Gateway Protocol (CGP). This protocol is similar to the Internet Border Gateway protocol. Used to connect multiple autonomous blockchain ecosystems and is responsible for routing between them. • Internet Transfer Protocol (CTP). This protocol is similar to the File Transfer Application Layer Protocols, Hypertext Transfer Protocols on the Internet. It is an application layer protocol stack that sits on top of routing protocols.
Project Roadmap
Here we go through the main points in order.
1. White paper / Funding / Initial design;
2. Testnet 1 / Initial integration with Bitcoin, Ethereum;
3. Testnet iteration / Arbitrary chain support EVM / IBC-compatible;
4. Decentralized asset transfer applications run on Axlear / Applications integrate with Axelar solutions / Generic cross-chain messaging requests / Connect more assets and chains;
5. Apps & Solutions Ecosystem Built Around Axelar Network / Enabling all ecosystems and dapp developers to build on any blockchain and provide arbitrary layout across chains through the Axelar infrastructure stack.
Summary: in general, everything sounds very nice and optimistic. We look forward to and believe that the project will be able to realize its own ambitions within the presented roadmap.

Sweet at the end
The team announced an exciting ambassadorial program, within which you can have a hand in shaping the project in a creative and informational way. By the way, I wrote about it earlier, you can read it here.
As a result, the project is very interesting to me, I will follow its development, if possible I will take part in its activities, which I advise you to do as well. XO XO.
