Should teenagers work in a part-time job as well as studying?

During the bygone days, teenagers had been focusing on their studies, and the part-time job was not heard of. Nowadays, more and more teenager students all over the world have been engaging in part-time jobs, especially in developed countries. Although there are different views on this topic, I am convinced that it is a marvelous idea for teenagers to take up a part-time job while they are students because they can learn about responsibility and the value of the money.

Initially, by working as well as studying students can learn to be responsible and observe punctuality while they study. They have to come to work on time and they have to maintain the inventory, update stock registers and be responsible for these duties.

They also can learn the value of money. Students will realize that it takes a lot of time and energy to earn money, and this great experience will enrich them with confidence to face the vicissitudes of life.

In addition to that teaching students real-world skills such as working with the public and as part of the stuff, part-time jobs give them exposure to fields they may hope to enter as adults.

However, we should understand that not all the students are capable of handling a part-time job during the school year. A job can interfere with essential study time or vital extracurricular activities. If a student begins to have poorer grades, it is time to either quit the job or cut back hours of employment.

By the way, all of these traits will benefit them in the days to come, in responding to the realities of life.
