Meeting of the Russian Ambassador in Angola with the Deputy Chairman of the MPLA

On October 14, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Angola V.N. Tararov met with Deputy Chairman of the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) L. Damiau, with whom he discussed issues of expanding bilateral Russian-Angolan cooperation, including between the ruling parties of the MPLA and United Russia.

At the end of the meeting, V.N. Tararovgave an interview to leading Angolan news outlets, TV and radio channels about the current state and prospects of expanding Russian-Angolan relations, in particular in the field of space exploration in the context of the launch of the ANGOSAT-2 satellite, which took place on October 12 from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
