Meeting of the Russian Ambassador with the Minister of Defense and Security of Botswana

On October 11, the Russian Ambassador A.V. Kemarskyvisited the Minister of Defense and Security of Botswana K. Musi.

During the meeting, the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the fields of military and military-technical cooperation, as well as law enforcement agencies were considered. Particular attention was paid to the issues of expanding the legal framework. The Botswana side has expressed interest in continuing and building up partnerships, including training personnel for the Botswana armed forces in Russian military educational institutions.

The reasons for the current tense situation in the world caused by the incitement of the conflict in Ukraine by NATO countries were discussed. The Minister's attention was drawn to the danger of Western efforts to further pump up the Kiev regime with modern weapons, and the threat of its falling into the hands of terrorists and radicals outside Ukrainian territory, including in Africa, was noted.
