Meeting of Ambassador Andrey V. Kemarskiy with Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Kwape

On November 24, 2022, Andrey V. Kemarskiy, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Botswana, was received by Honourable Dr. L.Kwape, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Botswana.

The talks, which proceeded in a traditionally friendly atmosphere, touched on topical issues of mutual interest being a part of bilateral cooperation, as well as the situation in the region of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), headquartered in Gaborone.

During the meeting, the original invitation of H.E. Mr. Vladimir V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation, to H.E. Dr. Mokgweestsi E.K. Masisi, President of the Republic of Botswana, to personally participate in the second Russia-Africa summit in July 2023 in St. Petersburg was handed over.
