On the meeting of the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia M Bogdanov with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon in Moscow Mahamat Paba Sale
On August 19, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanovreceived the Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon in Moscow M.Pub Sale at his request.
During the conversation, the sides discussed promising areas for further development of Russian-Cameroonian ties with an emphasis on enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian fields, promoting possible joint projects in the mining and fuel and energy sectors of Cameroon.
The interest of Moscow and Yaounde in deepening the political dialogue, increasing cooperation in the UN and other international platforms was confirmed. A number of issues related to the preparation and holding of the second Russia–Africa summit in 2023 were considered.
