On May 9, the Russian House in Alexandria, together with the Consulate General, held a comprehensive event dedicated to Victory Day at the RCSC site.

Already at the entrance, the guests were greeted with songs of the war years and distributed St. George ribbons as one of the main symbols of Victory.

In a solemn atmosphere, the broadcast of the Victory Day parade on Red Square in Moscow was watched. Consul General of Russia in Alexandria K.A.Vasilyan congratulated his compatriots, spoke about the contribution of the Soviet people to the victory over fascism, and also noted the importance of preserving historical memory.

The Immortal Regiment was held in the Russian House and the Alley of Heroes exposition was organized. The program of festive events also included the traditional action "Victory Garden", in which our compatriots planted fruit trees in the garden of the RCSC.
