Ryazan enterprises presented more than 300 product samples in Uganda
Ryazan. June 2. INTERFAX CENTER - A showroom of goods from manufacturers of the Ryazan region has opened in Kampala (Uganda, East Africa), the press service of the regional government reported on Thursday.
The exhibition presents more than 300 units of products from 36 leading manufacturers of the Ryazan region - enterprises of the construction, medical, instrument-making, food and agricultural industries, IT technologies and light industry.
The Minister of Economic Development of the region Andrey Vorfolomeev, opening the exposition of the region, stressed that this is "another step in bringing the interests of the Ryazan region and the countries of Africa closer together."
"The Ryazan region is an industrial region with developed exports, the volume of which has tripled since 2020. Taking into account the existing imports of Uganda, business cooperation can be promising in terms of supplies of bitumen mixtures, paper and cardboard, fertilizers, household chemicals and cosmetics, fasteners, road fences, children's car seats and strollers, medical devices, roofing and wooden materials, wheat, fans and ventilation equipment, fire alarms," he said Minister.
The exhibition B2B space of goods of Ryazan manufacturers will continue to work until June 24, 2022. During this time, the site will host about 200 presentations, round tables, meetings and negotiations with representatives of the Ugandan business community interested in establishing long-term cooperation. For this purpose, among other things, VKS communication with the sales departments of each of the Ryazan enterprises participating in the project is provided, which will allow to promptly clarify all questions that arise from the visitors of the showroom.
