On November 24, a telephone conversation took place between Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia, S. Kakubo.

During a thorough conversation, the foreign ministers discussed a number of key issues on the bilateral agenda in order to ensure the further progressive development of the entire complex of traditionally friendly Russian-Zambian interstate relations, including building mutually beneficial trade, economic and investment ties.

The readiness of Moscow and Lusaka to expand cooperation in the UN and other multilateral platforms on topical regional and global issues on the basis of unwavering compliance with the principles of international law and the UN Charter was confirmed.
