Today COVID 19 virus has spread all over the world and has brought the entire world back-foot with a complete lockdown in every country affected. And restricted traveling by air, water, road, and rail has brought tourism and travel industry in its worst phase. To minimize this disease, most of the airlines have suspended their flights and Air Canada is one of them. Air Canada has suspended most of its flights and updated the traveling rules.

Cancellation policy of Air Canada

If you had reservations in Air Canada and now you want to cancel your flight due to COVID, here are a few Air Canada cancellation policy that you can follow to get apply.

1. If you had made reservations in Air Canada on or after 1 March 2020 and your flight got canceled by the airline itself then you can use the travel credit in near future for traveling once the restrictions are uplifted.

2. The unused part of the flight fare can be used by the passengers up to 24 months.

3. If you had booked your flight through the third party such as travel agent then contact them to get your flight canceled. You cannot cancel the flight booked through an agent on the website.

4. For booking flights, you can either call upon the reservation helpline number or go on the website and use my bookings option to cancel the flight.

5. If you are making a new booking with the travel credit and fare of the new booking costs more than you have to pay the fare difference.
