Learning English
How do you like starting your day? My best way is lying in the bed and thinking about nothing early in the morning. If it is a weekday, you have a lot of time before the start of your work. And you can spend it as you wish. Today’s morning I decided to devote to learning new English expressions. You may ask me, why I do something like this instead of sleeping or watching series. Well, my answer would be quite easy. I want to understand English fluently to find a new job in new country. It’s something like a challenge for me, it’s already got carried me away. Maybe it’s because somewhere in my mind I’ve transformed this challenge into an opportunity. And every day, in which I spend some minutes to train my English, makes the silver lining of boosting the growth of my career lighter.
In my previous essay «Alchemy of choice» I said, that I had always wanted to live out my dream. And now I’m trying not to loose faith in my strength and luck. But occasionally when I make mistakes I might wave in my decisions. I know than you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs but sometimes it’s really hard to stand up one more time and go ahead. So I have affectionate admiration for those who don’t give up, make an effort and despite all difficulties make their desires come true.
I hope you like this morning affirmation. Also you can find some expressions below, which I’ve used in this essay
- To have affectionate admiration for smth/smb - нежно восхищаться чем-то/кем-то
- Make an effort - сделать усилие
- To live out a dream - жить мечтой
- To transform every challenge into an opportunity - превращать каждую проблему в возможность
- To loose faith in smth - терять веру во что-то
- To go ahead - продолжать
